Thank you! I have a mini rose from last year that I didn't separate so I'll do this in the spring. It's doing well as is but pretty crowded. I give it watered down coffee every once in a while, which it loves.
The seeds should be in the rose buds where the flowers bloom. After the flowering falls off the round bulb that's left is where the seeds are located. But the seeds need to be pollinated in order for the seeds to germinate. That's mainly the job of the bees, butterflies etc. to pollinate the roses. It's a lot easier to do what the guy in the video did, just divide the plant to make more plants.
I've bought many minture roses but never had the nerve to try to separate them, but after watching you do it, I'll be happy to try it out!
Thank you 👍
Worth a go cheers Ray
Hopefully you've helped me save my Valentine's Day roses!
I hope so too!

Thank you! I just brought one, and was wondering what to do😊
Hope you like it!
When is the best time to divide? Mine are dropping their leaves now. Is it ok to divide them or wait to spring?
Late autumn will be fine when dormant
So are the coffee grounds fresh or has water been brewed through them?
Been used cheers
What are the benefits of dividing them?
More plants
Where are the seeds on my mini rose plant? Id like to harvest seeds and grow another plant

You can also try taking a clipping and replanting that. Apparently you can use honey as rooting hormone but I have not tried it yet.
