Since Jesus was able to atone for our sins and redeem us from our sins, it only means that He is an infinite Being, therefore, a God. Well, the Bible states several times that Jesus is God, not a mere human being. He is both a God and a man.

Cardinal Gibbons (@ 28:55) may have been saying that "Sunday and Saturday" are never mentioned in the Bible. This is true, and neither are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nor Friday. Days of the week are always referred to as, "the first day of the week" etc...which, by the way, is mentioned as the day to "break bread" and "set aside" for "collections" (Acts 20 and 1 Cor 16). The Adventists rely on Anti-Catholic rhetoric, based in hate, not love.

These misquoted verses do not teach sunday observance.
Acts 20:7 A night meeting to farewell the Apostle Paul that occurred on our Saturday night. In Jewish time reckoning this time of the day was referred to as "The first day of the week. The book of Acts was written 30 yrs after the resurrection and Sunday is called the "first day of the week" because at the time of writing that is all it was. No holy or sacred significance given to it at all. Paul spent the next morning that corresponds to our Sunday morning by walking 20 miles to Assos to board a ship. Not much of an example of Sunday observance. This proves that Sunday in the days of the Apostles was nothing.
1 Corinth 16:1-4 Paul asked the believers in Corinth and Galatia to store up supplies to send to Jerusalem due to a famine that was there. He asked that they do this on the “First day of the week” so that there wont be any collections when he arrived in order to save time. The letter to the Corinthians was written about 25 years after the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Yet at the time of writing Sunday is called the “First day of the week” because 25 years after the resurrection that is all it was. No holy or sacred significance given to it at all. There is also no mention of this being a continued practice after Paul had come and gone.

No one is hating on Catholics, the Bible says that this system has been judged and found wanting. Only God can judge and He is calling people out of this system before it's destruction, and telling people not to receive of her plagues including apostate Protestants churches who have gone astray. Yes, God is Love, and He is willing to save as much people as He can to those who are willing to listen to His calling and to His Law. This system has systematically broke His Law throughout it's existence. People in the Catholic system get hurt because the Bible exposes the lies of Satan and try to defend it. The Bible says either follow God or Baal, the choice is yours to make. Again no one in the Adventist church is hating on Catholics,I love Catholics, but God is calling people out of Babylon before it's destruction.

The actual Edict of Milan still can be read, via the writing of Lactantius, and Church historian Eusebius. Sectarians love to misquote, misrepresent, and mistake the actual meaning of things, to try and bend history, the Bible, and Christian history to “prove” their particular and peculiar ideas. Pre-cooked Protestant doctrines make for a low-think high-resistance mindset.
Remember, each of these “the true real church” groups (SDAs, JWs, Mormons, etc.) are claiming that the Lord Jesus Himself, and all the Apostles & original disciples were actually proponents of their particular notions, even if the evidence doesn’t support that claim.

The ancient Latin (Roman) names of the gods were: Monday (Moon), Tuesday (Mars), Wednesday ( Oden), Thursday (Thor), Friday (Frigg or Freya), Saturday (Saturn), Sunday (Domingo). Sabado was from Hebrew for the Sabbath, or Shabbat. The Hebrews called the days: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th, 6th (or the Preparation day), and the 7th was the Sabbath.

That makes No sense George! God and Jesus Christ both wrote into Stone the Commandment to Worship them No matter what on the Seventh Day of the week. God and Christ Jesus both said to especially Remember to never forget or change this Commandment. I was a Catholic over 50 years until I realized I'd been lied to for, over 50 years, Not counting my family and ALL the Money I gave that Lying Faith, if you can call it that. Catholicism is completely rotten to the Core, no question! You can go sit in a Catholic pew, on the Wrong Day by God and Christ's very word, But the second you start to tell God its Okay to be committing your Sin, God will say No Way George!!! Not Listening, You go into your Sinning by Yourself, My Son Christ and I will wait outside, Not joining in with your purposeful Sinning. You know very well You Are NOT obeying Father Almighty and Son Jesus Christ. But Like Catholicism sinningly teaches, We changed God's Laws, we know that's an unforgiveable terrible Sin, but God has never done anything to us, SO WE ( All of Catholicism) has gotten away with it, and God is never going to do anything about it. We've beaten God at His own game of Rules and Commandments! And because we beat God and Christ at Their own game, WE Catholics are Superior in our own Apostate counterfeit worshipping, We Catholics are Better than everybody else. Just look at all the Gold in All the Churches of Rome and around the World. God and Jesus must love us better than everyone else, and that why God and Jesus let us get away with breaking God's Commandments! You can go All around this World( like I have) and its Universal, Roman Catholics are ALL brainwashed from birth, passed from Parent to Child, we Roman Catholics are favoured by God and Christ and that is why we can Sin and get away with it, and why we have All the GOLD in our Church! Better Believe it!!! You should see the Gold in Italy! Unbelievable. Germany's not far behind, either, their Churches are so Grand you could land a 747 in them, and still have room to spare.

Six days you May labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God…”. Exodus 20: 8-10. There is no evidence that Abraham (a former pagan polytheist) or the patriarchs of Genesis kept the Sabbath religiously. Maybe they did or maybe not. However, the command to circumcise was given BEFORE the Torah. So, if one insists upon keeping the Seventh day as the universal Sabbath it is reasonable to insist that they also keep the rite of circumcision. St Paul said something quite different in Galatians 5: 6. 😊😊😊

I was just baptized Catholic a couple weeks ago, at the Easter Vigil, Bryan! And I'm so happy. I am a former SDA, and thankful you debate all the false doctrines of the SDA Church. I've been trying to explain truth to an SDA Platform called Adventist Defense League. If you could do a debunking with them, that would be great! 😊 As a former SDA, i can refute every doctrine they present and show them Scripture that backs up that. I don't want to be rude to them, but they say i sound rude. However, they are my former people, and I'm trying to reveal Truth to them. However, they just refuse to see! It's so sad 😢😢

Wasn’t Sunday so important because the messiah was the Passover lamb died and rose on first fruits (a yearly festival day) the day after the sabbath? Also I was under the impression that the whole reason it was so important is because it was one of the yearly festivals to the Most High specifically for the purpose of forgiveness of our sins. Why would they go so far as to switch the sabbath when the Most High says I don’t change and that we will be keeping all the sabbath feasts forever even in his reign on earth?

SDA people just don't want to be freed from the law of sin and death. They are afraid to let go of the law when we have a great precedent in the great Apostle Paul who walked the talk when he reassured us in Galatians 2:19-20 "For through the law I died to the law, that I might live for God." SDA people are not persuaded no matter how many times they have been warned in accordance with the scripture that those who seek to be justified by the works of the law are under a curse. Romans 4:15a For the law produces wrath. Their stubborn leaders deliberately disobey the sound teachings of Christ regarding freedom from sin in Christ Jesus alone the saving grace of God. Just like the Jews of the Old Covenant, they will also fail: Romans 9: 30-32a What then shall we say? That Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have achieved it, that is righteousness that comes from faith; but that Israel, who pursued the law of righteousness, did not attain to that law? Why not? Because they did it not by faith, but as if it could be done by works. I like how often St Paul asks the questions that we would seek to ask and then gives us the answers.
Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:15b but only a new creation counts.
Nowhere in the NT does it say that Seventh Day Sabbath breakers will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I don't care what the 7th Day Adventists say, or what Constantine might have said, or whatever. The church, somewhere down the line, decided to use Sunday as the day of worship. And for my whole life I've heard Sunday called the Sabbath by Christians. I don't think it matters what day one worships but to say that Sunday is the Sabbath is wrong. God created the 7th day as the Sabbath. The day of rest. Man can do whatever he wants I guess but that doesn't change what God has done...

This statement in the Collier's Encyclopedia is listing two different events as one. The Edict of Milan granting freedom of religion in the Roman empire was issued in 313AD, while the Sunday law spoken of, was issued March 7, 321AD. So, it's an ambiguous statement, and I don't think a Seventh-day Adventist evangelist would use it. Constantine did establish "A" Sunday (which he called "the Venerable Day of the Sun") as "A" day of worship. But it was the first law written relating to Sunday worship, so, it can either be termed "The" Sunday law, or "The" first Sunday law, and calling it "The" Sunday law is not incorrect. Now, as far as Sunday being kept for centuries goes, yes, it was kept by some, but the apostles considered it to be part of the apostacy that would be coming into the church. It was not kept before 64AD, when Paul was still alive and preaching. In Acts 20:28, 29, 30, Paul say's. speaking to the Elders and Overseers of the early church: "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock,...For I know this, that after my departure (death) savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears." All of the Apostles kept the Jewish Sabbath, because they were Christian Jews, and besides they emulated Jesus, who, when He was alive kept the Jewish Sabbath. In fact, the term "The Lord's Day" comes from what Jesus said, in Mark 2:27: "Therefore, the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.", meaning the Jewish Sabbath He kept.

      The Didache
“But every Lord’s day . . . gather yourselves together and break bread, and give thanksgiving after having confessed your transgressions, that your sacrifice may be pure. But let no one that is at variance with his fellow come together with you, until they be reconciled, that your sacrifice may not be profaned” (Didache 14 [A.D. 70]).
      The Letter of Barnabas
“We keep the eighth day [Sunday] with joyfulness, the day also on which Jesus rose again from the dead” (Letter of Barnabas 15:6-8 [A.D. 74]).
      Ignatius of Antioch
“[T]hose who were brought up in the ancient order of things [i.e. Jews] have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord’s day, on which also our life has sprung up again by him and by his death” (Letter to the Magnesians 8 [A.D. 110]).
      Justin Martyr
“But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God, having wrought a change in the darkness and matter, made the world; and Jesus Christ our Savior on the same day rose from the dead” (First Apology 67 [A.D. 155]).
      The Didascalia
“The apostles further appointed: On the first day of the week let there be service, and the reading of the holy scriptures, and the oblation [sacrifice of the Mass], because on the first day of the week [i.e., Sunday] our Lord rose from the place of the dead, and on the first day of the week he arose upon the world, and on the first day of the week he ascended up to heaven, and on the first day of the week he will appear at last with the angels of heaven” (Didascalia 2 [A.D. 225]).
      Origen
“Hence it is not possible that the [day of] rest after the Sabbath should have come into existence from the seventh [day] of our God. On the contrary, it is our Savior who, after the pattern of his own rest, caused us to be made in the likeness of his death, and hence also of his resurrection” (Commentary on John 2:28 [A.D. 229]).
      Victorinus
“The sixth day [Friday] is called parasceve, that is to say, the preparation of the kingdom. . . . On this day also, on account of the passion of the Lord Jesus Christ, we make either a station to God or a fast. On the seventh day he rested from all his works, and blessed it, and sanctified it. On the former day we are accustomed to fast rigorously, that on the Lord’s day we may go forth to our bread with giving of thanks. And let the parasceve become a rigorous fast, lest we should appear to observe any Sabbath with the Jews . . . which Sabbath he [Christ] in his body abolished” (The Creation of the World [A.D. 300]).
      Eusebius of Caesarea
“They [the early saints of the Old Testament] did not care about circumcision of the body, neither do we [Christians]. They did not care about observing Sabbaths, nor do we. They did not avoid certain kinds of food, neither did they regard the other distinctions which Moses first delivered to their posterity to be observed as symbols; nor do Christians of the present day do such things” (Church History 1:4:8 [A.D. 312]).
“[T]he day of his [Christ’s] light . . . was the day of his resurrection from the dead, which they say, as being the one and only truly holy day and the Lord’s day, is better than any number of days as we ordinarily understand them, and better than the days set apart by the Mosaic law for feasts, new moons, and Sabbaths, which the apostle [Paul] teaches are the shadow of days and not days in reality” (Proof of the Gospel 4:16:186 [A.D. 319]).
      Athanasius
“The Sabbath was the end of the first creation, the Lord’s day was the beginning of the second, in which he renewed and restored the old in the same way as he prescribed that they should formerly observe the Sabbath as a memorial of the end of the first things, so we honor the Lord’s day as being the memorial of the new creation” (On Sabbath and Circumcision 3 [A.D. 345]).
      Cyril of Jerusalem
“Fall not away either into the sect of the Samaritans or into Judaism, for Jesus Christ has henceforth ransomed you. Stand aloof from all observance of Sabbaths and from calling any indifferent meats common or unclean” (Catechetical Lectures 4:37 [A.D. 350]).
      Council of Laodicea
“Christians should not Judaize and should not be idle on the Sabbath, but should work on that day; they should, however, particularly reverence the Lord’s day and, if possible, not work on it, because they were Christians” (Canon 29 [A.D. 360]).
      John Chrysostom
“[W]hen he [God] said, ‘You shall not kill’ . . . he did not add, ‘because murder is a wicked thing.’ The reason was that conscience had taught this beforehand, and he speaks thus, as to those who know and understand the point. Wherefore when he speaks to us of another commandment, not known to us by the dictate of conscience, he not only prohibits, but adds the reason. When, for instance, he gave commandment concerning the Sabbath- ‘On the seventh day you shall do no work’-he subjoined also the reason for this cessation. What was this? ‘Because on the seventh day God rested from all his works which he had begun to make’ [Ex. 20:10-11]. . . . For what purpose then, I ask, did he add a reason respecting the Sabbath, but did no such thing in regard to murder? Because this commandment was not one of the leading ones. It was not one of those which were accurately defined of our conscience, but a kind of partial and temporary one, and for this reason it was abolished afterward. But those which are necessary and uphold our life are the following: ‘You shall not kill. . . . You shall not commit adultery. . . . You shall not steal.’ On this account he adds no reason in this case, nor enters into any instruction on the matter, but is content with the bare prohibition” (Homilies on the Statutes 12:9 [A.D. 387]).
“You have put on Christ, you have become a member of the Lord and been enrolled in the heavenly city, and you still grovel in the law [of Moses]? How is it possible for you to obtain the kingdom? Listen to Paul’s words, that the observance of the law overthrows the gospel, and learn, if you will, how this comes to pass, and tremble, and shun this pitfall. Why do you keep the Sabbath and fast with the Jews?” (Homilies on Galatians 2:17 [A.D. 395]).
“The rite of circumcision was venerable in the Jews’ account, forasmuch as the law itself gave way thereto, and the Sabbath was less esteemed than circumcision. For that circumcision might be performed, the Sabbath was broken; but that the Sabbath might be kept, circumcision was never broken; and mark, I pray, the dispensation of God. This is found to be even more solemn than the Sabbath, as not being omitted at certain times. When then it is done away, much more is the Sabbath” (Homilies on Philippians 10 [A.D. 402]).
      The Apostolic Constitutions
“And on the day of our Lord’s resurrection, which is the Lord’s day, meet more diligently, sending praise to God that made the universe by Jesus, and sent him to us, and condescended to let him suffer, and raised him from the dead. Otherwise what apology will he make to God who does not assemble on that day . . . in which is performed the reading of the prophets, the preaching of the gospel, the oblation of the sacrifice, the gift of the holy food” (Apostolic Constitutions 2:7:60 [A.D. 400]).
      Augustine
“Well, now, I should like to be told what there is in these ten commandments, except the observance of the Sabbath, which ought not to be kept by a Christian” (The Spirit and the Letter 24 [A.D. 412]).
      Pope Gregory I
“It has come to my ears that certain men of perverse spirit have sown among you some things that are wrong and opposed to the holy faith, so as to forbid any work being done on the Sabbath day. What else can I call these [men] but preachers of Antichrist, who when he comes will cause the Sabbath day as well as the Lord’s day to be kept free from all work. For because he [the Antichrist] pretends to die and rise again, he wishes the Lord’s day to be held in reverence; and because he compels the people to Judaize that he may bring back the outward rite of the law, and subject the perfidy of the Jews to himself, he wishes the Sabbath to be observed. For this which is said by the prophet, ‘You shall bring in no burden through your gates on the Sabbath day’ [Jer. 17:24] could be held to as long as it was lawful for the law to be observed according to the letter. But after that the grace of almighty God, our Lord Jesus Christ, has appeared, the commandments of the law which were spoken figuratively cannot be kept according to the letter. For if anyone says that this about the Sabbath is to be kept, he must needs say that carnal sacrifices are to be offered. He must say too that the commandment about the circumcision of the body is still to be retained. But let him hear the apostle Paul saying in opposition to him: ‘If you be circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing’ [Gal. 5:2]” (Letters 13:1 [A.D. 597]).

@@bibleman8010 None of these writings were accepted in the cannon, because they contradict the cannon. That's also why the extra books from the Old Testament were not accepted by Protestants. The fact that Jesus Himself kept the seventh day Sabbath, as well as even the women who anointed His body rested "according to the Commandment", should be enough proof. Jesus said that He, himself, was Lord of the seventh day Sabbath. What more proof can be needed? If you don't believe Jesus, why bother calling yourself one of His followers?

@@BonnieUrban knowing that the sabbath is nowhere commanded under the new covenant, must resort to the old. But this does them no good, affirming it is binding on Christians under the new covenant, unless they can prove that the old law is the new law or part thereof. This they make a feeble attempt to do.🤢🤢
However, all that is necessary to refute his assumption is to prove that the old law is done away. If the old law is done away it is impossible for the affirmative to make it the authority in the new. This I intend to do at this time, and at the same time showing its location historically in the scheme of redemption.
In contending for the observance of the sabbath day of Exodus 20, Adventists overlook the significance of history which is summarized by the apostle Paul in Galatians three.
Four hundred and thirty years before the law was given at Mount Sinai, God made the promise to Abraham, "In thee shall all nations be blessed . . . He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." (Gal. 3:8, 16) At Sinai God made a covenant with the children of Israel, even the law. It was in this law that the sabbath was given or made known: "Thou camest down also upon Mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments: and madest known unto them thy holy sabbath . . . by the hand of Moses thy servant." (Deut. 9:13-14) But this law "cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. For if inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; . . . But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." (Gal. 3:17-25)
      1. Why do NO Christians keep the Sabbath in the New Testament?
      2. Why does Paul THREE times tell us that we need not keep the Sabbath?
      3. Why does Hebrews tell us that the day we keep is "ANOTHER" day?
      4. Why does the Bible tell us that the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant made with Israel? and then why does the Bible tell us that this covenant does not apply to Christians?
      5. Why are there NO commands for Christians to keep the Sabbath in the entire Bible?
      6. Why does Adventism teach that Adam kept the Sabbath, when the Bible teaches that no-one before the time of Moses knew about the Sabbath?
      7. Why does the Bible say that the Sabbath is a sign for Israel, and never applies it to mankind as a whole?
      8. Why does Adventism gather weekly on Saturday, when in the New Testament and in the first, second, and third centuries, Christians gathered on Sunday?
Luke 11:41 "But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you.
Acts 10:15 Again a voice came to him a second time, "What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy."
Acts 11:9 "But a voice from heaven answered a second time, 'What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.'
Romans 14:1 Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions.
Colossians 2:16 Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-- (NASB ©1995)
Mark 7:19 because it goeth not into his heart, but into his belly, and goeth out into the draught? This he said , making all meats clean.
      John 5:18 (NIV)
18 For this reason the Jews tried all the harder to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
Hosea 2:11 will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts. 758 years before the Birth of Christ.
Isaiah 1:12-14King James Version (KJV) 12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
It is ironic that Jesus and His disciples were harassed by the Pharisees over the Sabbath (John 5:18). Jesus spoke out against the Pharisee's merciless observance of the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; Luke 13:10-16). Jesus also defended Himself and His disciples on this issue by saying:
"The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath; so the Son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath." [Mark 2:27-28; RSV]. On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul talked with them... [Acts 20:7]
It is interesting to note that St. Paul had spent a week with the community in Troas (Acts 20:6), and this is the only reported time that he celebrated the "breaking of bread" with them. Also no remarks are made later in this passage that St. Paul disapproved of their worship on Sunday. One would expect St. Paul to object to this practice, if it were rooted in paganism.
      and claiming authority over it.
The Lord said the Sabbaths would cease and that’s exactly what he meant.

7 *On the first day of the week we came together to break bread.* Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight.
Was this meeting on Sunday or Saturday evening? If you read the verse it was evening that's why it says Paul kept on talking until midnight as he intended to leave the next day.

Hello, thank you so much for your reply. The first Eucharist was the breaking of bread, and was indeed done in the morning. Sunday was the first day of the week at this time.

English words for names of the week had no influence on the apostolic fathers because they wrote in Greek and Aramaic mainly. So you can’t argue that they changed the sabbath to pray to the Sun god because that’s what it means in english. Names for days of the week in eastern indo-european languages are not derived from Gods. Rather they were counted from the last day which was Sunday. Even before Christianity, in proto-slavic languages Sunday was called the day for no work, or Nedelja, which literally means no work and was the seventh day. The first day is Monday or ponedeljak, the day after Nedelja Tuesday is Utorak derived from the numerative word for second. Wednesday is Sreda meaning middle(when proto slavic week had five days), next is Cetvrtak or fourth and so on until you get back to Nedelja or English Sunday. This pattern can be observed in other ancient cultures such as Greek and Judaic (likely other unknown to me).

History shows Constantine did not "change" the sabbath. SDAs hv a misunderstanding of the historical church fathers which then means they misrepresent historical quotes. I'm sure that MANY converted Jews after pentecost returned to their homes in the east and Africa still keeping sabbath, but now followers of Jesus. We simply dont have writings from them! We argue over days that scripture tells us not to argue over. But Paul is misquoted in this video. Paul says not to judge each other. That applies to catholics, protestants, and SDAs. According to history Sunday absolutely was not a sabbath to be religiously "kept" like the Jewish sabbath. Yet many Christians attempt to do this too whether now or historically. Biblically we cannot apply sabbath keeping texts and reapply them to the Sunday. God did make sabbath keeping for Jews as a very specific day. With specific details around its keeping. Sunday in early sources was a day of celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. So both Sabbath Keepers and Sunday Keepers persistently insist their "keeping" is essential is such a disappointing distraction by leading denominations away from the gospel. Neither day or any day contributes a single inch to our salvation.
Pastor's and priests have other days of "rest" besides Saturday or Sunday because they are so busy on Saturday or Sunday. Physical rest is essential. Any day can can be rest. Catholic means universal. The Catholic church along with any other current of historical writers will argue and debate till the Lord comes. And we know Catholic church has its own non biblical teachings.
This speaker has great points but the Catholic church holds many traditions that are unbiblical themselves! I've never understood some protestants non biblical insistent Sunday be kept as a sabbath. We are free to worship Him in spirit and truth. If you try to keep Sunday like the Jews sabbath, this too is unbiblical.
Bottom line. They will know we are Christians by our love.
The truth (Jesus) will set us free

    Exodus 16:23-30 (NIV)
23 He said to them, “This is what the Lord commanded: ‘Tomorrow is to be a day of sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.’”
24 So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it. 25 “Eat it today,” Moses said, “because today is a sabbath to the Lord. You will not find any of it on the ground today. 26 Six days you are to gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.”
27 Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none. 28 Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to keep my commands and my instructions? 29 Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out.” 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

Do the Scriptures say any thing(predict) about the change of the Sabbath to Sunday? Yes.
    Daniel 7: 19-22; 23-25
19 “Then I wanted to know the meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others and most terrifying, with its iron teeth and bronze claws-the beast that crushed and devoured its victims and trampled underfoot whatever was left.
20 I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three of them fell-the horn that looked more imposing than the others and that had eyes and a mouth that spoke boastfully.
21 As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them,
23 “He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.
24 The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.
25 *He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws.* The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.
It is evident that the bible had predicted this move by the agent of the devil to change the laws of God including the Sabbath.

This prophecy refers to various moments in history, not to the Church, and the kings are various kings that have oppressed Christians and Jews alike, thus there is good evidence that the beast from the sea is the pagan Roman Empire of the first century and, in particular, the emperor at its head. This, again, is like Daniel’s four beasts, who were described both as four kings (Dan 7:17) and four kingdoms (cf. Dan. 7:23).

Instead the SDA morphs the Roman Empire into the Catholic Church entirely ignoring the fact that the Roman Empire and the Catholic Church were in a struggle good vs evil. @@georgepierson4920that sound like 7th Day Adventists. If you look to Scripture and how the Apostles taught the faith and the early Church Fathers you will see that Christianity rejected keeping the ritual works (otherwise known laws or commandments) so this would include their dietary restrictions which you see Peter in Acts was told by God to not keep the dietary laws, in Acts 15 you see the Church rejecting circumcision on the 8th day and then there is writing form the Church Fathers asking to have a children baptized before the 8th day of life, asking for it to be done sooner. The Saturday Sabbath is a ritual law, furthermore it is but a shadow of the Lords Day so that’s the day to worship God for Christians and the Sabbath is for the Jews. The principle stands to have a day to worship God and spend time with family and as I mentioned this is done the day Jesus was resurrected
Lastly OT miracles can not be greater than NT miracles this is 101 theology. Christians who worship God on Saturday are saying that day is MORE important than the day (Sunday) that Jesus rose from the dead and opening the gates of heaven for us.

*Paul observed the sabbath some years after Jesus had gone to heaven* :
    Acts 16: 13
13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.
*Paul continued to observe the sabbath after Jesus had ascended:*
    Acts 13: 42, 44
42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that *these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.*

Hey Brian, excellent video, however, I will point out that you made it seem like you were against keeping the commandments. The commandments and the teaching in the Torah, also called the Law, are reiterated and taught in Canon Law, and the Catechism, and I'd be accurate in stating that the Torah is the foundation of these documents. With of course nuance Christian theology. You should have made a distinction between the ceremonial laws and the moral laws. Of course, the Sabbath would be categorized as a ceremonial commandment, because of the sacrifices attached to it in the Torah. This sacrificial obligation attached to the day has been fulfilled in Christ's sacrifice and the Eucharist, replacing the sacrificial obligation. Now, it is certainly correct that the Church doesn't teach to keep the Torah to be saved, however, you didn't explain what that actually means. The 10 Commandments are part of the law, as well as the moral laws found throughout the Torah. In regard to circumcision, Paul is very clear that men should not be circumcised to be saved. However, the Bible is very clear that we must be baptized, which is actually related to some commands in the Torah itself. Furthermore, I need to point out that Paul specifically says to obey God, do good works, and keep the commandments. Which is a teaching that the church emphasizes to disprove faith alone heresy.

You are right, we could see how it could be confused that way. The 10 Commandments are part of the Moral Law and therefore last forever, which is why we said in the video that all 10 commandments are reaffirmed in the New Testament except the Sabbath. So, yes, we do have to keep the Commandments (As Jesus and the whole New Testament says many times), and we will make this more clear in Part 2). Thanks for point that out.

What sda forget to mention is even the apostles broke both the ceremonial and moral laws. They even accuse Jesus of sabbath breaking. Jesus say I desire mercy not sacrifices. Jesus fulfil the law and that is why he said its finished. He gave the commandments to gentiles, the royal law. He is Lord of sabbath so he gave greater significance to his resurrection than jewish shabbat.
He is the one who changed the day by virtue of his authority as God. The Lords day was commemorative of the resurrection as is the mass and the eucharist. The catholic church is following the teachings and traditions of the church and the apostles.

Since Jesus was the Son of Man, he had authority to change the sabbath if he wished. When his disciples were chastised for plucking grain on the sabbath (Mark 2:23-28), Christ pointed to an example from the life of David to justify the conclusion, “The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the sabbath” (v. 27-28).
Elsewhere we learn which day that was. In 1 Corinthians 16:2, Paul tells his readers, “On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that contributions need not be made when I come.” Paul exhorts his readers to get their church’s contribution together ahead of time so it won’t have to be put together when he arrives (see 2 Cor. 9:3-5).
He tells them when to contribute to the gift: every first day of the week-every Sunday. Why? Because that is the day the early Church met for worship. Even though the Old Testament sabbath had passed away, the early Church commemorated Christ’s resurrection on Sunday, the first day of the week, because that was the day Christ arose (Mark 16:9, see also Mark 16:2 and Luke 24:1).
A Catholic can be confident he should worship on Sunday because that is what the apostles did since Christ, by his authority as the Son of Man, both had and used the power to change the sabbath.

A person doesn't have to go to all the quotes you are trying to use to refute it. The more recent catechisms quote this statement of Saint Justin Martyr as proof that Ancient Christians kept Sunday. But a few of the older catechisms say that the Catholic Church changed it, not just the ancient Christians. But since Protestants demand a Bible answer, they've changed the catechism to give this explanation. Here is a quote from catechism from 1857 (and this was used more recently too): "Q. Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept? A. Had she not such power, she couldn't have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her on;----She could not have substituted the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority. ----Rev. In essence Sunday worship is unbiblical. There is no any verse neither in the Old Testament nor in the New Testament which requires Christian to observe Sunday. Sunday was being observed by pagans in the honour of the *god sun* . During the time of Ezekiel, Israelites had turned to worshiping pagan gods including the *god sun* . God called this worship *a great abomination.*
    Ezekiel 8: 13 -16
13 And He said to me, “Turn again, and *you will see greater abominations that they are doing.”* 14 So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, *women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.*
15 Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, *you will see greater abominations than these.* ” 16 So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s house; and there, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the Lord *and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.*
The first day of the week was therefore very common for the worship of the sun by pagans that's why it was named Sunday(sun's day). Some Christians(lead by Roman Catholic) adopted this pagan practice slowly slowly it became a day of their worship.
No one among the disciples of Jesus and Paul worshiped on Sunday.
History tells very clear about this practice.

Your view on Sunday worship is actually completely ahistorical, and indeed the practice was already being done during the apostolic era. Just because it occurred on the same day as pagan worship in the past does not in and of itself prove that Christian worship on Sunday is pagan. That is a baseless assertion. Attempting to quotemine the Bible with eisegesis to accuse Christians who worship the Triune God alone as pagan is actually calumny.

The subject of Judaizers and Paul's comments to Timothy are two different subjects that you are mixing up to confuse people who don't read the Bible or don't read it enough to understand it.

Why don't you go and make a video instead? You claim he's wrong but didn't show any proof.
He came with proof you didn't. Just accusations.
