You provide some of the best information on embroidery I've been able to find. I added embroidery to my screen printing business 3 years ago and I've been teaching myself, so it's been slow going. I've learned more in the last month from your videos than I have in the entire 3 years, thank you so much!

I am new to embroidery. I will begin with brother pe900. What I do not understand is do I need this program for simple designs? Please someone inform me. Thank you

      Hey bud
The machine covers only 50% of the Art of embroidery
      The other 50% it's software
      And designs.
      hopefully that answer your question.

There are many softwares that perform the same functions. What separates the expensive ones with the lower price ones are tools and options (which helps you in speed and accuracy). But most all have the basic tools to do simple designs.

I started off with PE770! I used Sew What Pro when I had my 770! It's a great, cost effective program to start with!
