I love this page . You are so informative and giving free info like this is so rare .. especially in a competitive industry like this. Im just starting out and money is going to my business 100% but if you have a subscription im highly considering making this a neccessary business expense.
Thank you for this video! Very helpful.
Great video!
great video very helpful
Good morning everyone from Philadelphia
It's been weeks that i look a videos around on ways to make patches but none are explaining some stuff, like why do you use twill when you use water soluble transparent plastic sheet, why do you do the running stitches twice and stuff like that. Your video is long but it's the only one where we actually understand how to not have dirty edges. If you could do a condensed one with all the infos it would be awesome, because I guess that on every subject it would be the same. Thanks
1-16 check , “ Here “ .
Good live thanks #rewind sorry I missed it
Hi can you help please ,I only have a single needle machine and when trying to create 4 patches at a time I always lose 2 of the 4 as they always seem to mess up , I can't seem to get the material any tighter is there a hack for making it super tight or a more rigid backing??
What tension you running your bobbin when making patches like this? Sorry not sure if I missed it somewhere in the video.
What do you use to stick the patch to a fabric?
Have you found that not using the thread hook guide at the top of the needle is better or worse? I have seen mixed opinions and have gone back and forth on whether not I should or shouldn't. I feel like it effects tension a little bit as well but just wanted to hear your thoughts on it.
Ive always had it threaded as its suppose to. Ive never tried to change it up.
i have the chroma luxe software, how do i do the cut stitch and the border i need for patches?
Hello, I am writing from Turkey. We do not have an embroidery pattern drawing video here as clearly and clearly as you. Could you please help me with this embroidery drawing or send me the link of this embroidery drawing program, thank you very much.
Hello Romero, happy to watch the replay and I have a question. I don't have any other software so I am thinking to purchase merrowly software to make patches. Just ask your opinion on that! thanks
Thank you for the message, Ive heard good things about the embrilliance merrowly.
Love your tutorials and trying to make patches.
Where do you get tackle twill fabric?
Thank you for the comment. I get tackle twill from these vendors: Twill USA, Stahls or Gunold.
@@RomeroThreads Thank you!
Hi, great video! I have one question I may have missed. What software are you using to create your design?
I use Wilcom 4.5 Studio Designing
@@RomeroThreads thank you!
Thank you for your videos. I love watching them! I’m considering buying a Ricoma. Would you be able to tell me if they can read PES files? I have a brother SE2000 and want to upgrade but don’t want to loose all of my embroidery files if I switch brands. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! Pes files are for Brother machines. Ricoma uses dst files, pes won’t work with the Ricoma.
@@RomeroThreadsthank you for clearing that up for me!
Have you ever tried heat and bond lite for patches? Do you think that might work for stability along with cut away?
The lite can be used but it will only hold temporary. You would have to stitch on it afterwards to secure it permanently.
@@RomeroThreads Thank you. Just learning the basics. Love your videos. You take the time to show every step.
Yes, I know when I was starting, videos would skip the most important details. So I try to cover every minor detail.
?Did you place a stop after the "Romero Threads" design before the cut stitch?
Yes, I have a color change inserted, so it stops.
Could you provide a link to the twill? I purchased 6 yards I think in the wrong kind. 🥴😢
twillusa.com/tackle-twill/ this is where I buy the majority of my twill.
Hi there! Northern IL?!? I'm just south of Chicago...born and raised...do you have in-house training?
Hello, I do not have in-house training service at the moment. I do get alot of request, maybe sometime in the future, thanks for the message.
i was flowing you long time , they are all good video, i have some questions how can i get good quilty when embroidery
tatami stitch with 60#thread on plush stuffs
such as plush toy or something
Since the thread is thinner than traditional 40 weight, you might have to increase the density, and add more underlay. If its super plushy, you might want to lay down a knockdown stitch. You just have to gauge how much extra stitches you want to add without going overboard.
the design is too small about 2*3cm when i add more underlay like double tatami and more density like0.28 but the left and right contractions are too large
hopefully youll be able to do avideo about the details of a plush toy using 60# thread and9# needle
