When I clean around the foam I use a piece of plastic like the lip on a ball point pen. If I run it around my design I can scratch off the protruding foam without having to poke it in then heat it.
I’m glad you mentioned candle thread..how do you like it as far as tension is concerned? My Bai 15 needle don’t really care for all the spools of new Brothread I already had, I’ve tried Madeira but I’m still trying to test different brands to see what works best
@@RomeroThreads ok I’m going to order some samples. I upgraded my tension springs to Tajima springs and it has helped alot now I just need to super fine tune it
I’m having problems with my tension. I’m doing puff on a crewneck. Can you recommend tension settings. Before I was using puff my tension was perfect Now it’s not
what do you recommend doing with a design that loses the space between letters due to 3d embroidery? should the design be spaced out more for embroidery purposes?
Let's say I didn't want to do it on a hat, but on a flat pieces of fabric, what would be a cheap embroidery machine option that would allow for me to do puff designs like this?
I would love to hear your comments on why you upgraded from Hatch to the full Wilcom E version. I have tried to find out the differences that would make upgrading worthwhile, but I have not been able to get answers even from Wilcom.
Big reason, I can easily layout my icons, they are easily accessible. Also, I wanted to have the exact software that my digitizer had at that time. That way, I can make any edits if necessary. Overall, I do like the smoothness of the software.
@@RomeroThreads Not having the same software has been such a challenge! Your content is phenomenal, yet I have found it to be endlessly frustrating when attempting to “translate” between Wilcom and Chroma Luxe. I realize that they are similar- however, so are Photoshop & CorelDRAW. How do you explain a Corel process to someone who is new to editing and while using Photoshop?? Do you recommend any Chroma creators? Simply put, I haven’t found anyone with content that is as comprehensive as what you have. BTW, Ricoma initially directed me towards your channel and you aren’t even using the software that they sold me?! 🤦♀️

Wow! Very clean! Love it!

Candle Thread works really well with both my Ricoma’s and Tajima.

Thanks. I normally use a lighter but I think using that heat gun is way more efficient. You're the man!!!! 💪
Yes, it handles the foam pretty good. I’ll use a lighter if I have an annoying thread that’s sticking out.
Hi, do you have a link to the bent scissors?
Nice job! Do you have a link for your favorite scissors that's mentioned in this video?
Wow, tension looks perfect, black bobbin thread 1/3. Great looking hat.
Thanks!
Nice! Your video is giving me the courage to consider
3D puff. Thank you!
👍
I'm new to digitizing and embroidery, If I may ask, what is the purpose of the heat gun other than cleaning? Thank you

It is allways helpfull to watch Your Videos, i have one Question, you are using Heat Gun, so at what Temperature is setting ?
There’s only high and low. If I use high I move the hat farther and use quicker motions. With the low setting I can be a little more detailed.
Ever, great video.
What is your density on the satin stitch, I use .18 on my puff.
What's yours?
Yes I use 0.18mm density and 0.25mm density for the caps.
@@RomeroThreads do you know what 0.25 would be considered when using the stitches per inch unit of desnity
What is the heat gun for? Do you need to use a heat gun on regular embroidery too or is it just for puff embroidery?
You just need it for 3 puff embroidery.
You are soooo talented
Great insight. Question for you. What embroidery machine are you using?
Tajima TMBR-2
Nice job! What font is that?
I have been having consistent bird nesting with 3D Puff. The file is digitized correctly but cannot figure out why it's nesting so much. Any tips?

What number do you set your top and bottom tension gage at ?
Likes dope! Do you offer digitising service, it looks like you have that part locked down I’m not sure my digitiser really has that locked down yet
I don't offer it as a service. Thank you for asking.
Hello bro, plz advice me How to stitsh a small text?
Thank you!! Which fishtail font is this? I like the fact thats it is not so narrow.
I made the font, I mixed 3 fonts together and arranged them in Illustrator. That’s what I was aiming for, a thicker bolder font.
Did you create the whole alphabet, and if so, are you prepared to sell it?
I did make the entire alphabet and numbers. Maybe in the future i’ll put it up for sale. Thanks for asking.
what density do you run for something like this ? i digitize with tajimas pulse dg15 s
I use a 0.18mm density
Good Job!
Thanks!
Beautiful
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for stopping by!
Is it imperative that you add 'caps' to the open end of each letter when embroidering 3d puff?
Yes, the ends cannot have an open gap. In this case, the ends taper off so I didn’t have to put a cap on the ends.

Good video thanks
Is it possible to know witch Font you used ?
I created it by mixing 2 different fonts together.
Friend, with a higher density Eva you avoid all that problem of dirt, an Eva of about 80 degrees is more than perfect.
Would you recommend Tajima over Ricoma for 3d embroidery?
tajima is for industrial use 8 can not prefer .
Thank you!!!
👍👍👍
weldone clening puff emb
Replay-thanks
