Zimbabweans must understand the universal principles. What they must understand is that this is a results of what they did for their country. They are too negative about their own.country. They must rebuild their country without being negative. I think it's good to hear that they have banned all other currencies. In South Africa we already had lots of problems about money crossing the boarders without being counted for. Zimbabwe must rebuild Zimbabwe and the problem is that the Zimbabweans especially those who fraudulently have South African ID are too negative about their own mess. We reap our sowing. I told our President that home affairs officials must be vetted and investigated and if one is found to have done fraud then all the IDs issued by that person going 10 years+ must be revoked so that people must reapply to see all the corruption. South African has a plan to fix it's mess and Zimbabwe must do the same without being parasites. We are saying this as Scientists not politicians and we have broader knowledge about how things work in the Universe. When Zimbabwe comes up with something new, already the Zimbabweans are so negative about it with their minds scanning what might go wrong. This is the problem. A country won't be fixed by negative minds and also people must be proud about their own country and they must have a positive mindsets to rebuild the country they have torn apart consciously. Zimbabwe is not the first country which has experienced a decline. All powerful nations went through the same and someone might say not like Zimbabwe. Yes, it's because Zimbabwe is an extremely negative country. People must build everything n positivity then it will be ok.

I'm a Scientist so I just don't have time for stupid and negative people. Tell me, here, what is your net worth compared to the President? He is BILLIONAIRE and BILLIONAIRES whether a black or white one understand the principles. That's why they are successful. Small minds like you are the biggest problems in our planets because of neurological disorder and myopia of the mind. Please save your ignorance I am running my own Independent Scientific Research and Mental Development Center, so I have a lot of work to do.

I only read your first line then decided to respond from that point. Stupid people focus on useless things. What has spelling.and grammar do anything with what I do. Remember, writing to you is not an important thing like I'm writing for marks. Let me prove your ignorance once more, I speak and write all South African languages fluently I mean all of them and how many languages do you speak. Learning languages is so good for one's plasticity so of you know one or two it shows how small your brain is. You are not involving properly but just fooling yourself. The same system which has COLONIZED blacks did the same to colorless people and today it is disadvantaging them. Don't respond I don't have time to educate a FOOL and for FREE. Zimbabwe has no currency and its banning currencies. RTGS & Bond are not legal currency or even so-called currency. This was a political move to avoid mass revolt with the back up of the military. The military and trade unions complained that they can not purchase goods and services because they have no access to USD. As an emergency action to avoid civil action. They forced the so-called "Zimbabwean Dollar". What will back up the so-called currency? No industry, How are you going to import good since you don't produce? Many questions than answers. Let's apply for citizenships in other countries. Zim will soon be a ghost country. ZIM IS NOW OPEN FOR ABUSE.

If you want to be liberal and not acknowledge that they staged war against the white man in their country, then at least realize that they staged war against all the commercial farmers in their country. Agriculture is a pillar for any young growing economy. Ignore this and it will come tumbling down. Even if the Dollar was weaponized, one have to accept that the micro economy within Zim is not 100% bound to any other economy. If i plant wheat, mill it and make bread, the farm worker, the service provider to the farmer or any one else in the value chain can buy a bread. The same goes with having a few cow, making milk, cheese and butter... none of these people need the dollar to keep on going, yet the entire industry is flat on it's nose and people don't have food to eat. Issues like these don't need Conspiracy theorists.

Zimbabwe situation is a cautious tale that will repeat itself as the African population grow. The sense of entitlement for being born of a certain skin color will have people demand things for free. Farming is not easy. You need capital, connection, knowledge, and desire to run a successful farm, like knowing the soil type, seasonal planning, market price, connection and global contract. Many of the Africans think they can just come in, plant soil and stuffs will grow. Many of the fertile lands are the way they are after decades of careful planning, with cash reserve in case of bad weather. Many of the commercial farmers require large plot of lands, and they have contract and distribution network globally to produce certain amount each year. When you divide up the lands, many of the new farmers wouldn't have the capital, the skills, and the connection to maintain the old output, let's not even talking about how most of the farmlands go into the hand of the elites like Grace Mugabe who own 16 farms. Many of them will do subsistence farming which will only benefit themselves, and barely produce enough to put on the market, let alone global export. Many of the farmlands are now abandoned, thousands of farmworkers will lose their job, not just the White farmers.
Essentially, South Africa is gonna be the second Zimbabwe once the EFF gets in power or if the ANC caves in. Well, at least they can't blame their economic situation on other African foreigners. They're gonna start running to other African countries just like with the Zimbabweans. It's gonna be a sight to see. The very people who they killed for taking their jobs are gonna give them jobs.

It is an interesting aspect of how the money is valued and devalued .you definitely need foreign currency in the country!!! Cause other countries make that currency strong and as long as it circular motion in Zimbabwe it's a wining shot. When you abandoned foreign currency in regards to buy and sell- then the problem rises. How much is it Worth? The government is eluding the people with false statements that it will stabilize the economic. But how? The statistics are wrong and measure are out of context. It's a mistake to introduce such a note. At least for now. My advice for ZIMBABWE IS THIS-. PRODUCE AS MUCH FOOD AS YOU CAN AND TRADE THAT OFF!!!! THEN YOU CAN COMPETE ON FOOD MARKETS!!!!!

I will accept it here in South Africa and use it when I'm in Zimbabwe. That is a true Black market. Let this be a currency that all African people accept event if our poppets governments reject it. We as the people should use it and it will gain it's value. Money is simply just a way of trading.

Curious, what do you think Zimbabwean dollar is backed by? It's the law of supply and demand. What would hold Zimbabwean currency in the global market? Especially for a country that can't even feed itself and have to rely on billions of dollars each year from the U.S. to feed its citizens? If you want to create an official currency, you need to have a stable economy first, banning all foreign currency wouldn't give more values to the local currency. Inflation is a thing because the lack of backing and no one wants the Zimbabwean dollars in the world market, let alone the local population. You need to have a demand for your currency just like any other trade goods.

Hmm your analysis is flawed certainly things are different from 2008. Total RTGS balances are 1.5B certainly no billionaires at this moment no billion dollar prices but high prices but not much money available for the common man as salaries have not been increased. I can see Retailers reducing prices due to fall in demand.
