That's actually really impressive!! Just need to have a few batteries with you. But what I like is that if you don't use your gas chainsaw a lot you worry about the carbs gumming up. Then it takes time to either clean the carb or get a new one. This Ridgid saw is always ready to go. You do have to make sure you have bar oil and a few batteries but if you own a bunch of Ridgid tools already then you already have the batteries. That and a sharp chain. I like it's quieter too than a gas saw.
She's not a bad little ripper. Technology has come so far now. I think it will come in quite handy for you. Im excited to see how you like it over time 😊
Seems like a decent electric saw, currently never tried one but interested to have one around the yard here. Currently I own some Milwaukee tooling. I know Rigid makes awesome tooling as well. Great show of this saw cheers.👌🏻🔥🇨🇦
For the price it is decent! Going to be perfect for around the yard, marking firewood and hedge work! My brother had a Milwaukee chainsaw, I think he liked it…until it got ran over by the chipper 😂. 🇨🇦 🔥 🪵
Bar shown on the box, what I imagine is in my pants. Bar seen out of the box, what I’m really working with. IT LOOKS BIGGER IN PICTURES is what I’m saying bro. I just bought one but damn that thing looks stubby.
Rueben...... it's best feature is especially for women and us old guys..... Push button start!! The powersaws sometimes takes a good pull or 5 to fire up.
Man your going to hold on that chainsaw with it torqued like a 595 xp husqvarna lol . Probably should put a 60” or 5 ‘ foot bar on it buddy . You will everyone on u tube running out and buy one buddy . 😊
@@earthandbloom well mine couldn’t be at least not back in 2005. But they were also the nickel cadmium kind. But an employee at Home Depot related to me that free batteries were not included. Employee information is questionable at best at times because of misinformation or poor training
@Earth and Bloom yea I'm invested in there line so hopefully it's good I got little thinks around my house I can use it for thanks for your input hope to see more videos from you my guy

It’ll definitely come in handy I think! I’m all for battery tools, just not battery vehicles 😆
5:30 chain speed is very low. and when sawing you hear some kind of whistling noise. what is the price for this saw and batteries?

Gonna need a competition cut with mama’s battery Stihl saw!
That’s a good idea!
Can you adjust the oil?
No Its not adjustable
very good video ,what size file do you recommend me to sharpen the blade
Thank you! And for this chain size a 5/32 file will work.

Would this run a 14 inch bar an chain or maybe a 16inch?
I doubt it would like a 14-16 much.

Lol you got that right! Slide a battery in and get cutting! And it’s light 💪
Make sure you put oil in any new chain saw before using
Cost $150 home depot with charger and battery only for small branches
Definitely a must do! The saw and 6ah battery up here is 330 I believe. 🇨🇦. Definitely prefers the small cuts
Your last words were case oil pump lol 😊
To many cameras with dead batteries 😆
Put a set off west coast dogs on its to buddy for cutting off moose legs . 😊
😂😂 I was going to plasma some big dogs for these little saws, they are left out, how can fallers use them with such little dogs!?!

It’s got the power 😆😉
100 cuts per charge? On what ? Definitely slow but it would do in a pinch 👍
Most likely a 8ah, it has been a great little saw, nice for beside a small chipper and for cutting things out of hedges!
Probably run it’s 24 volts make the chips fly , got a lifetime warranty buddy . 😊
I was thinking of double stacking batteries to give er the beans!
Not horrible for a 18v.
Yea I’m not disappointed. Found out it’s great for cutting up slab wood inside the shop!
I don’t believe that free batteries can be registered for the lifetime warranty
It's seems they can be, mine are at least. As long as it's purchased at the specified retailers I think it all can be registered.

They used to not be unless they came in a set with a tool. But now you can warranty standalone batteries as of a couple years ago
@@mbuck3073 ooh goody so I’m not completely crazy. Maybe some one should tell my wife
@@mbuck3073 hells bells I’m not nuts lol

Bro I love ridgid hoping to get the chainsaw
I think it’s worth the buy if you are invested in the platform already! I see they sold out fairly quick, hopefully they get restocked soon!

@@luisgonzales3629 it seems built right, and with a life time warranty, perfect lol! Definitely will have more! It’s gunna be worked hard this summer
