Awesome! I love this - just bought into the Ridgid system and I'm loving their tools so far. Was looking at this for a bit of work around the house so this was a great vid on what to expect. Thanks for the honest and fair review.
It isn't a 50cc saw either, this is more than it's really meant to do already, but it can do it. I just put a 16" bar on it for trimming some strapping, It worked great with the extra reach
@@shadowdance4666 it seems to pull it without much trouble! I'm sure it'll drain the battery faster deffiently, but we bought a few 6 and 8amp high output batteries, they pair really well with it.
Thanks for showing us what this little machine can do! I'm looking to get one for our place.
My pleasure! It is a handy little thing to have in the garage !
Can you tell me if the batteries suffer when out in the cold? I'm also in Canada and plan to do work in the colder months. @@earthandbloom
@@deannaf3476 only if you store the batteries in the cold, but if you bring them in when not in use, I never had a problem in the winter.
Great! Thanks!
Very good work Reuben. I think that's a handy little saw for sure. Nice to have those extra tools to get the jobs done ✔️
I’m a bit surprised by it, not fast by any means, but perfect to be in anyone’s garage just in case!
Good review dude. I got a unit like that too but just a 2 acre lot used very little but so far so good
🍻

Might get it From HOME DEPOT will use my 8 Amp EXP battery
It's a great little saw! I'm really happy with mine, great for throwing in the truck just in case
👍👍
Ok. However dead dry pine is one of the easiest wood to cut. It’s not like you were cutting live oak

@@earthandbloom now that’s interesting. It could handle the 16” bar without any diminishing of power? Probably not for the same duration though
