Stihl And Husqvarna | Is More CC More Better?
Nice! How many cords can you get done in an hour?
stihl the crank bearing cage won't melt fk 5 series I had one with crank bearing failure and the warranty wouldn't cover the $1100 3 month old saw!!!
Most definitely freshen up the 036 then It would be a better show down between them! My Pro runs a lot better, so please make it a fair run!!
3 seconds faster for $200 more, not worth it. I'll get the 291
@@NorthCountryOutlaw there's a bit more to it, more comfortable, lighter saw.
Next time rebuild the 036 so it is a fair comparison! :)
Why the rear handle 540?
Just ran both back to back for 8 hours today. 24” bars, full chisel, full comp. I will say they are both bad ass saws, but the biggest difference to me was the torque! The Husky has that 500 beat hands down when it comes to torque. 500 is faster (obviously) but that bottom end of the Husky drives it home. Food for thought
Mike, ive read through alot of these comments, and i must say you've got the patience of Job. Some of these people make my eye twitch with what they say or said. Great video, and both are wonderful saws.
those are a throw away lol throw them my way i rebuild 271 and 291 all day easy . rebuild ms290 to 390 all the time the jug holding down the bearings is nothing new stihl has done it for years
Easy yes, but compared to a to Pro model, it's much more involved. All the companies have done it for years. Cheaper to manufacture.
Husky💪 70 cc Stihl 80 ccm ?
50
362 has the top end, 036 more torque but less chains speed. Great video man! Love the 036 and 360, built to last.
Stihl 261 . 14 000 rpm. Stihl 291 . 13 000 rpm
Do you still have this head? Hows it holding up?
@@Jd320-o5d I do, not many hours on it, it's been down all year lol. I'm not the most impressed with the baumalight stuff for the cost of it.
@@earthandbloom I found one for 10k. Which doesn't seem bad considering the cost of most drum mulchers. What are the weak points? If ya dont mind me asking
261 profi 281 hobby
I do everything by myself so I like my 91.6 cc. I don’t have time to wait for the bar to get through the wood. The 660 is my main cutting saw, I love it. Had it for years.
I own both also and it is about weight and I own the 261 c and man it starts sooooo easy. I run premium fuel at 50:1. Anyone just use regular fuel like 87?
I had the same problem with my cub, I had the generator rebuilt, polarized the generator and still no charge, I talked to the guy who rebuilt the generator, he said do not polarize the generator generator, this will kill the voltage regulator I put a new regulator without polarizing and the generator worked perfectly
I went from a suburban setting to rural and thought my electric battery operated chainsaw would be up to the task. Found that one out quickly and it was recommended that i get the 261C. Will never look back
Is this Arkansas?
Ontario
@@earthandbloom I was going for "Little Rock Arkansas", Little Rock Ontario just doesn't work.
😆 that is true. Yes Arkansas 😉
70cc saws don't have to be sharp
Awesome 💪
Had to call in big red!
@earthandbloom big red had absolutely no problems eh ? That was some serious weight there
@@famasmaster2000 once we got it rigged up good it was no trouble!
Pffft 😂
Ain't nothinnn 😆
All chainsaw
Holy crap. That's real nice
@@dereksstuff8395 it's coming out pretty good eh! thank you 😅
Nice work
Thank you!
Anyone who has a new Stihl 261, they really are the ultimate saw. I bought mine brand new very recently, it is non Mtronic model. It’s fantastic! It is beginning to break in slowly but surely, and it has become just a super strong and extremely revv happy saw. Thing cuts through whatever. I love how easy they are to wrench on. I’m a neat freak, so I like how you can take apart the saw easily and keep it well maintained/clean with zero difficulty.
What size bar do you have on it?
@@888-m2m 20”
Love it ! Way to go Reuben 😊
Always awesome to see firewood production Reuben . Thanks for the glimpse into all the fun to be had 😊
Want to come help 😆
@@earthandbloom oh man, I would love to, I live for hard work ! It keeps us all young 👍🏼
Ruben! I love it! More videos dammit!
Been a tough year for time, hopefully when things settle I'll be able to get back into the swing of it!
@earthandbloom Take your time buddy. Hope all is good!

Respectfully, the Stihl ms 462c-m (72cc) saw would be more of a direct comparison with the Husqvarna 572. The Stihl ms 400c-m is an excellent saw as well however, it’s in another category and would more accurately & appropriately be compared to another saw in the Husqvarna lineup. I personally have Husqvarna & Stihl chainsaws, both serve me well. Rather than comparing these two brands against one another I believe it better to compare the level of service and support you receive at your local distributors. In example: There’s a Stihl distributor within a 20 mile radius which I would never patronize due to his misleading and inaccurate knowledge of his products. As a result I travel further for service, or to purchasing Stihl products. On the other hand I have a local Husqvarna distributor which is knowledgeable and helpful. Patronize the distributor that gives the best service and that you have the most confidence in.
Stihl////……. Knockoff 😂😂😂😂. That’s what we started using😂😂😂😂
Which saw is better stihl ms 291 or ms 271, I know 261 is better than both but I don't need a profesional saw
Both good, would come down to weight and how it feels in your hands. 271 is a great choice for all around work
Whichever works
Did you check the voltage regulator, may not be the generator. Generators not genning ain't always the generators fault.
You literally showed another homeowner saw. None of those were the professional versions.
Better watch again, what versions do you see?
the 261 C-M is a pro grade saw, mor HP, lighter weight, adjustable chain oiler, better on fuel.
Dull chain
My husquvarna only lasted 6 days doing regular weed eating around my house when that happened I switched to sthil
50 cc for me best power to weight IMO 60cc saws are heavy
I’m still running a 288xp, the new saws don’t even compare
Milwaukee
Not quite that high end 😉
I'm starting to like echo 620 ported
Your chain is dull
Stihl ms 220 T I got one and it's awesom
Husqvarna 540i. Still liking the stihl?
@@earthandbloom yes
I got my MS261 today and love it!!! My MS250 gave me 8 great years, but the MS261 is like a hot knife thru butter in comparison.
Here I am using a 38cc ryobi chainsaw to cut logs that size and its Australian red wood or iron bark 😂 little buddy's singing
Let er eat!
What a difference in sound !! She a Stihl ?
It's the husky! Trying to convince them stihl fellers lol
@@earthandbloom I can't get over how devoted some guys are to their brand, I love'em all !!
@@famasmaster2000 he does run some echos, and me too! I really like this newer husky stuff
I want a 572xp SO bad but I just can’t justify needing it. I have a 550xp MK2 and honestly I have 3 50cc saws and don’t ever end up needing anything larger than them. If I had some big trees to fell though you can bet I’d get a 572xp in a heartbeat. Best 70cc saw on the market and it ain’t even close.
