Put that Husqvarna right up there at 80 CC's as well and you'll have a blowout!.that's a lot of CC's difference in a saw to compare them like that !And not to mention most Husqvarna models are easier starting than the sthil counterparts ! It's hands down Husqvarna for me !

I can't understand why the 291 (029 in my case. Yep with the good 'ol screw on gas cap. As opposed to that flippy/flippy thing.)is being described as a throwaway saw ? Cheap aftermarket parts are everywhere. Yeah , I know. Hit or miss Chinese junk , but still ? Top ends Completes Carbs Rubber kits Coils Flywheels Rear handles And even crankcases.

Of got Huskies and have had no problems,both great saws !!!.

A sharp chain equals a fast saw!

This is definitely a poor representation of the 261. It has more power, spins at faster rpms, etc. I read the comments and I saw what you said about the chains and such but this makes it look like the 291 cuts better and faster to people that don't know.

Not sure the model designation, dandy looking old saw nonetheless.

You would see a big change in a bore cut.

It dont take a rocket scientist to figure out that the more cc, the faster it will cut

261 is the most reliable one here

261 is much lighter and it'll also be around long after the 291 bites the dust.

Husky, stihl dont start or rev out as good. Or so my husband says.

Husky. I've been very happy with all of my XP models. Weirdly enough, my favorite Husky apparently didn't earn "XP" label, the 545 mk2. It's the best 50cc saw on the market, hands down. Better than the 550xp

One would not be as good with out the other

Stihl’s advantage being its dealer network and ease of getting parts. Stihl is more focused on home owner market while Husky more on pro. Both nice saws.

500i for show. 372xp for work reliability. Possibly 572xp ? We will knowin 3 years or so.
