Not your typical 10 x 16 shed build project

After looking at the pricing and quality of sheds in the 10’ x 12’ and 10’ x 16’ sizes, decided to stick build our own.
While the cost might be higher than a prebuilt shed of similar size , the quality of a stick built shed would be far superior. A few examples include vinyl board and batten siding, Andersen French doors(used), house wrap, metal roof, PVC trim boards and water table.
Then there was the aesthetic and function details to consider that include the small roof over the French doors, awning window in the gable end, casement windows used as awning windows, shed roof w/transom window, water table detail, stacked blue stone foundation, break in siding detail, sill sealer and a loft on both interior ends with a full height interior (11.5’)in the center.
What isn’t accounted for is the labor and some of the adventures finding great deals on used and new material. The deals included the 2 new Andersen casement windows w/screens for $95/ each, the awning window for $25, the French doors w/keys for $500 and the aluminum clad transom window for $20(they offered to give it to us).
This shed was built in 2019.
It was a lot of “work” but we are about to built a second one in another location…

Nice work! I’m gearing up to do an almost identical build (the French doors with mine will be on the side below the shed dormer. You mind me asking ballpark cost?
