Had the pleasure of crossing paths with Eric Moore a few times over the years and let me say he is a true rock n roll legend! Soo underrated over the years! Keep on rockin Eric your music will liv e forever!
When Eric died last year we did a tribute to him..in Zainesville, that afternoon we were 45 minutes away..and Eric passed...we talked to him daily and till the end..he was greatful, humble and wasn't afraid..he blew us away... thru the years hes' supported Snake and all his endeavors and brought him along ...We will be forever Grateful..miss you Eric...xoxo
I used to go to a Dentist when I was a kid who had an 8 track and headphones for those who sat in the Dentist Chair. I'd always bring this album...Nothing is Sacred -- and listen to it. The female Dentist had a low cut shirt and big knockers... I used to love it when she bent over to work on my teeth.
My band used to play this song years ago. This band was very good but never got the national recognition that they deserved. Still love to listen to them today.
Had the pleasure of working with Eric Moore & John Gard (manager) on the Volume 2 Tribute CD and in Coshocton, Ohio ... for ... The Godz Tribute Concert! Simply the epitome of a, "CLASS-ACT!" Eric? Is that correct! "Two kilo's across the Rio Grande?" lmfao
My band (Barooga) opened for Eric and the Godz at several venues in '79. They were/are great people. I'll always remember those dates. Daniel O'Connell
thanx for posting they opened for metallica at the bronco bowl in dallas not sure of the year 1986 / My Brother Tom has all 3 of there lps / not with the new singer /He Burned all 3 GODZ onto cd format
Mark Chatfield was a criminally underrated guitar player of the day. I personally chill better with this album. A lot of their fans were disappointed with this album, but I think it is just as strong as The Godz and Mongolians.
Signed out this album from the public library in 1970 something. Wonder what the late fee is on it ! Say what you want about this album or that album - they rocked on them all
I love these bros. Just remember the Alrosa Villa. I looked up to you so much. All I know, is it was fun.. Love you Eric!!!!!!!! Remember The Blitz!!!!!!
partied hard with them in the seventies . i was at the Celina show myself . i was home on leave from the Army and we went up there from Indian Lake . i was the only short haired dude in the place .
The 1st 2 albums were great couldn't get much on u guys after that wore them albums out keep rock in if any 1 knows where and if they have c d s out let me know thanks
I'm thinking of the group called The Godz whose first album had songs like Under the Table, Gotta Keep a Runnin'. They were fairly heavy in sound. This song "He's a Fool" is pop rock. I'm thinking it's the same band, even though it doesn't sound like it.
This was and is the most underrated band of all time, and Eric was a lyrical genius

Love the Godz. Found out about the guys in 1984 when I was in Germany partying my ass off as a civilian employee working for Uncle Sam.
You'll get one from me every time, I mean EVERY TIME! Saw them at the Agora in Youngstown, I believe Youngstown. GREAT SHOW!
1978 was the year I bought this album.
GREAT to hear others who love the Godz, first saw them in N.Y.C. I think 78 or 79!!
On Casablanca records when released…..I wore the grooves out to this song in 1979

I agree about Mark, and the album
I believe this is their best album and have a vinyl and 8 track of it and will hold on tight forever....Better than awesome!!!!!
@MOAMaximum -The 714 also stands for the logo on the Qualudes that I had a script for back starting in 1978!
My favorite album of all time!!
You got great taste. I remember this note for note when I first heard it in 1980.
opened for my favorite band angel a few times many moons ago!
Saw these guys back in the 80's in a little hole in the wall venue in Celina, Ohio called the Red-Eye. Great show by a bunch of good guys!!

Never forget the night the played in Bellefontaine. Too cool. all went to breakfast ...hot mess !!!!
Great record!
Signed out this album from the public library in 1970 something.

This intro is so basic and simple that you just gotta love it! Love that use of the choppers to establish a personality!
Teenage wasteland

+mike vargo Check out Mongolians, it's pretty good, not too many people knew about that one. I stumbled across it around 1988
I have that one. It's awesome. I have 4 MP3's, my good which is 16G has nothing on it but The Godz. love them still and I am now 63 years young.
Loved it!
Another album I used to have and cant find on CD.:(
Michael Koehler mp3

Watch me burn baby
@MrReymoclif714-Exact same thought!
@SteveBurk -Admittedly some of the songs were corny, but this one had a certain flair about it!
Well?..if you ate 7-reds&blues&qualludes&drank tequila by the Rio-Grande' you a BADASS😆
YOU DONT KNOW TRUE R&R THEN, NOW DO YA ?? SO JUS MOVE ON ALONG NOW LIL WUSS !!

I don't understand how the Godz could put out this shit after their amazing debute album
Sadly reflects my half brothers' life...just saying.
Big shot billy joel
This is The Godz?? I know their first album, but not this one. Sounds tame and poppy...

it's the same band
@@jeffr.5717 This is classic GODZ it all is.
Educate yourself...
This album had a couple of gems but was a let down 👎 compared to the first album. Every song on the first album kicked ass.
