- DA leader John Steenhuisen unveiled the party's election manifesto at the union buildings in Pretoria earlier today.
Thousands of supporters gathered for the launch. Steenhuisen says the party will focus on 7 key priorities to deliver as pledges to South Africans.
Among the 7 priorities include creating 2 million Jobs, ending Loadshedding and water woes.
Political analyst Sandile Swana joins us via video link to unpack the DA manifesto launched today at the union buildings in Pretoria.

This guy is clueless about an unemployment rate, the DA are not making impossible promises! They looking at delivering on what they are promising, theres a big difference! You cannot over night get to the USA unemployment rate when education has failed for 30 years!
The private sector in collaboration with the state during COVID promised to reduce unemployment rate to 14% are telling us that the private sector was hallucinating and it can't be done. Its clear that the DA hasn't done their homework and not willing to be smart in order to change the status quo atleast the EFF know what needs to be done to create million jobs it is through industrialization of SA thats the only way.
