The DA had to apply to the Courts for reinstatement! Upon returning to office, it became evident that the City's Coffers had been emptied!! Tshwane is technically bankrupt, but under the capable hands of Mayor Cilliers Brink it will gradually be returned to good health! Also, JHB and Ekurhuleni are being led by a Coalition of the ANC and EFF, and financial irregularities in Ekurhuleni have recently been uncovered by the Auditor General!!
The financial irregularities in Tshwane date back to around 2012/ 2014 when the ANC was firmly in charge, and more recently to when the ANC Gauteng Provincial Government illegally placed Tshwane under Administration for a period of nearly two years!!
A few things boggles the mind, one being that if the ANC falls below 50% the DA will automatically leap from 19% to 51% , the other being that the very same parties that couldn't stand the "baaskaap" during local coalitions would stomach it at provincial and national level.
