This is the best Interview I can remember. There is a lot of growth on Interviewer & interviewee .Mayor explained very well about Sikala & Ngarivhume and about the City. You have your facts and never doubted yr position of btwn a stone& hard rock. You are the best! I am thrilled also that you are not a corrupt person. Do your own press conference to explain this to citizens who clearly have no clue on the blame inserted on you.

These guys should be given a chance to lead the country.When Elias Mudzuri took over from Solomon Tawengwa,he gave Zanu a fright by managing the city well and now they took away all the authority.
His Worship the Mayor Mafume is really the type of men we would want to be around and near our President Nelson Chamisa. We will be sure to live a better life in the new Zimbabwe.

Agreed Mayor has all these issues impeding him. But surely council should be able to put bins in the city centre streets. Surely rubbish can be picked up from 4th Street , copa cabbana ranks etc. Why can't council clear rubbish from the high density suburbs. Why can't council buy a refuse truck for every 3 suburbs and road equipment machines per 2 or 3 suburbs and restore sanity ???
At some point Mayor has gotten comfortable is enjoying the perks of the job !!

There are a bunch of deception money driven thieves who are living in a comfort bubble.We need new fully trained urban legislators who understand how urban urban areas are run.Its beyond anybody's comprehension that a village cowboy is made to run a city over 4million urbanites.This is all rubbish.

@@atwabindindi1711 listen to what ? To a cowboy who only saw a light bulb and flushing toilet when he came to town. Being a lawyer does not mean you can run an urban area effectively. All those dilapidated buildings in the city are owned by individuals especially whitemen and corporates but this so called mayor cum lawyer cannot use his skills to sue these entities to paint and maintain their buildings to a modern standard.He's afraid of their white skin simply because of the indoctrination that he went through training at university. There is a lot of revenue he can generate for the city by simply innovating and desist from being a cry baby of saying the local government took this and that away from me as if its the only things that generate revenue to beautify the city.One example is to introduce a congestion charge to many vehicles that enter the city centre who spent the day idle and clogging the parking space and engaging in illicit activities. Make them pay and eat into the profits they make from drug dealing and illegal activities and they will all disappear.

Trevor with all due respect we need to stop with this lunacy of calling a man or woman his worship. This nonsense of putting people in positions of power on a pedestal is exactly why they treat tax paying citizens as peasants.
We get the leaders we deserve. Once introduced it’s ok to refer to this brother as Jacob and get back to substance. Otherwise a good interview. Still not convinced votes is all it will take to change government.
