This regime is evil
I lost my wife,my brother, brother in law and numerous other close relations due to the regime's heavy handedness, what Jestina went through is heart rending. Why I watched it through defies logic,I shed tears of undescribable pain,tears of retrospection.
If that happened to me, I wouldn't be alive today - asi ndainge ndisingafe ndega, pamwe Zimbabwe ingatodai yakasununguka right now.
ZANU PF is full of people who cannot differentiate between an animal and a human being. Once we have a new and people-oriented, we will sll need to be assisted to re-adjust.

This conversation brought a realization of how lucky some of us are, born free. However, we need to soldier on and fight the battles of the day. Fight against corruption that is weighing down our economy
i don't think we are lucky , considering that Jestina was tortured in 2008 (independence was achieved in 1980) and the system that tormented her is still operating to this present day. We are still faced with the same realities that she faced eg the Joana Mamombe scenario.

Thank you for this interview, it made realize that most of us bury our heads and try to simply try to survive or escape the situation in our country without lifting a finger to change the situation, hence we have become accustomed to injustice, intimidation and corruption. Apparently there’s no gross human rights abuse in Zimbabwe also citizens fake their abductions , that’s the answer from the ruling government. Listening to Jestina Mukoko ordeal makes one to stop to breath ,what about the unreported world of the people of Zimbabwe , very sad indeed

The cruelty by Zanu pf is unmatched. Some people are not human beings, they are beasts. Really the dehumanisation by Zanu pf is evil. This is really painful.
A painful story for a woman, mother and working female professional, all Zimbabwean female need to know how vulnerable they are under the present rule. an unfair experience to children of activists, the pain and trauma is not told by them; it is their parents who became heroes or heroines what about the pain they bear and what kind of people do they became years later? Will they not turn to be like people who tortured their mothers, if they are not followed. Jestina mukoko thank for the bravery to tell the story and the story of your son's pain and your mother's pain; you have told our story.
This is sad to listen to. The gravel moment when you speak about ‘something leaving your body’ you were dissociating from reality to protect yourself as a coping mechanism. You are a strong woman.

My sister I don’t know you well but I look at your face and hear your voice,I see strong woman yes you still looking in big pain but be strong .to my fellow human being if you want to the devil don’t look far it’s mugabe
You do realize that ED was in most cases the one that was tasked with executing Mugabe's orders? Ask the Ndebeles that lived through the 1980s and they will tell you there is no objective difference in terms of cruelty between the 2 men.

I cried through out your story Jestina. It's like as though I am the one who was tortured it hurts &I hate to think there are humans capable of such evil but now I do understand why. Yesterday I heard in the BBC news that a man signed a contract with the devil which was a full page by using his blood to sign agreed to kill six women every month or year ( I can't remember the length of time) but lets look at the extent of the evil. The man is just on trial for murdering two sisters.😢😢JUST FORGIVE these evil headed men who tortured you. IT'S POINTLESS GETTING ANGRY AT THE DEVIL himself. THAT'S HIS job TO steal,kill & destroy so he uses a human body that's why we see some acts comitted by some people are so evil that we wonder if they are human at all. That's proof that these evil people will be possessed but time is coming for them to answer for their evil deeds because it's their fault to allow the devil to use them why can't they resist the devil so that they are not used to commit such atrocities to other humans? Please just forgive them soon the owner of all humans is coming to deal with all the evil headed people OUR SPIRITS DO NOT DIE WE ALL KNOW THAT EVEN THE MOST STUPID PERSON KNOWS THAT.😢😢😢.
