  • Hitting the shuttles at BOC Ponca! What a freakin' rad ride this was! I had never even heard of this bike park until the day before we went there. One of the dudes I went there with, Andrew had scene a video of this place before we went to Bentonville and he showed Jeremy and I the video. We decided to go the next day haha.
They run a shuttle service out of the Buffalo Outdoor Center at the bottom of the trails. We parked up top and went down to the bottom with just the assumption that the shuttle would be running and thankfully it was. It seems they run it every day of the week. A nice shuttle too and doesn't take long to get back to the top.
You get about 1,200 feet of elevation lost here which is so rad. You do have to pedal some for it though. There's multiple trails with some really fun black diamond rippers up top and then there's about a mile long traverse to the last section of trails. It's really not that bad of a pedal though. The last section of trails are longer. Skull Crusher (my favorite) and Mule Kicker are the black trails. Skill Crusher is steep and loose with a couple sick drops. And then there's the climb out. I was not stoked about this before going. It's actually not bad at all though. It's about .7 miles but a very easy climb.
We did four laps and that was a full day of riding. Each lap took about an hour. The last run we did we took the most direct route down and it took 40 minutes so just keep that in mind I guess.
We were all very stoked on this place and for sure thought the pedaling involved and the drive was totally worth it. It is about 1.5 hours away from Bentonville. We just day tripped but there is a lot of tourism here in Ponce so you could make a weekend out of it and also float down the river.
I highly suggest getting out here if you can.

This was prob my favorite ride of the trip! Fun steep sections, rad optional lines, lots of drops and plenty of screaming descents. It is a bit loose, so bring your A-game! The shuttle setup is world class and a must; BOC Ponca for the win!

Ponca is gnarly!!. I know a guy who wasn’t paying attention and thought the second rock roll was a jump. Hucked it to flat. Had to be rescued off the mountain cuz he lost color in his vision.

I have a lot of catch up to play on your riding adventures! BOC Ponca looks awesome. I love a trail with a lot of good challenging alternate lines, steep and rocky chutes, and drops! You and Jeremy crushed it as always. Stoked you guys got to get out there this winter.

Damn that riding looks like it blows the stuff I’ve ridden in Bentonville out of the water! Cool to see long rad descents like that east of the Rockies. Nice work fellas! That was some serious trail. 🤘

Yeah for sure! I didn’t even know about the place until the day before we went. Doesn’t get the exposure it deserves.

17:21 I thought Jeremy said “We’re at the drop” and kept going 😂 If that’s my only crash all week in AR I’ll take it! Easily my favorite ride of the Bentonville trip! Trails are so steep and loose, definitely a must-ride in NWA. Jeremy’s riding was extra Dialed in this day, you guys were flyin’ down the mountain!
