I use my Norco all the time! Ever since I had a mouse make a nest under my hood, my truck won't start unless I jump it first. And yes, Mindy, you need to charge it.

Hi mindy good to see you those are really neat trails you were on great camping spots i think the cows enjoyed you telling them good morning! My nephew got me a jump box with a 100 watt folding solar panel , excellent never go without it, life saver! Be careful and keep enjoying .looks like a great trip!❤❤

Keeping in mind that 100 with low humidity in the 20s is quite liveable. It's the 110s with overnight lows in the 90s -no matter the humidity-that's tough. Then we go to altitude
Definitely plenty of serenity out there, eh Mindy... I'm told that there are a couple of main hazards to look out for while staying out there too long:
1) Those beautiful desert plants are beautiful to see... but can be a rude awakening if you come into contact with some of them... especially the ones that leave quills in your skin.
2) Especially when enjoying the bird populations flying overhead... if the bird population seems to become vultures... it means you probably have overstayed, possibly? (Just kidding) 🤣👍
OMG! Rex, this made me laugh so much. I learned the hard way with the quills on the cactus, and I won't do that again. If I die out here alone I would want my body to be taken by wild animals, or compost to dust. Thanks for being here, Cheers!

Happy Travels Mindy, I have one more kiddo at home. Which makes me so sad and makes me think what will this grandma do… Then I see these videos and it make me hopeful for the happiness that can be obtained when its just me figuring out life with grown up kiddos
Enjoy the time with your family, as the road will always be here for you. My personal concern for me is mobility, and being able to be really active outside. That seems to be what pulls people off the road sooner. Cheers!

Hi Kim, I spent most of the Winter in AZ on BLM. It is some of the best Free camping, but, sadly they are closing many entrances to it. Cheers!
I wanted to hike that steep hill, but I wouldn't take my '08 Element (Bertha) up there for nothing!! I wish I was in a place to travel some of the roads you have traveled. Also, I love your wheels!
I did hike the hill...it was steep...that is how I finally made my decision to not hike up it. I hope that you get out and travel soon. Cheers!
I wouldn't sleep in a tent that close to a road, could end up as roadkill.
I was thinking the same thing, and then wondered if this was a more permanent housing situation for these folks? Like maybe they lived here and went to work from here? Of all the beautiful spaces out here, I did not understand that location for them. Cheers!

Hi Sandy, this is a great reminder. When I see Nick, my Honda mechanic at Gresham Tonkin Honda in Portland, Oregon I will ask him to check the filters. I will also ask him if I should be changing them more often. Cheers!

Is that a free camping area? The roads don't look bad so I'm wondering if I could get a Class C Motorhome in that area?
Hello and nice to meet you here. I would recommend looking up BLM land in Arizona to see what is allowed and passable in these places. I have noticed that they are closing many entrances to these spots. Some you have to acquire a permit and they outline this specifically for each area. There are time limits too. I am not familiar with driving a Class C, so I would not be the one to ask advice for this, I would probably give you over optimistically the wrong information. Enjoy, Cheers!

I must warn you that if you go on the ATV trails please put a flag on your car so that others can see you. I failed to do this, but I got lucky and no one got hurt. This was something I did not know or consider when I set out off road. I will be getting one for 9th and my other rig, so that I can pass safely and others can see me. Cheers!

My jumper needs to be charged every few months or it will kill the battery part, if it isn’t charged at least every 6 months. Are you heading north as summer is approaching? Or heading to the beach and cooler coastal areas?

Thank you, I rarely feel unsafe or uncomfortable. If I do get a weird feeling I move. These days I prefer to be alone as much as possible so that I can think, reflect and pursue my creative interests without interruption or input. It is glorious, Cheers!
