Hey Mark, I just want to say I'm really happy that I came across your "CAF Home Theater Build" playlist. Lately I've been very much into both car audio & home theater builds. I have been watching your channel to get ideas on a sound system for my truck, but it was nice to see both topics come together on your channel. Well done.
Think my original post got deleted, but I did the exact same thing. I used 1/2” mdf and used pocket holes and screws to secure the bracket to the ceiling joists. I talked you in IG. I can honestly say this channel game me the confidence to take on that project. I also made in wall cabinets for the LCR. Funny enough I started seeing other companies start to offer them shortly after.
Fun tip: notice which way the teeth of the blade are pointing. have those facing the backside of the piece you're cutting to reduce chip-outs even more.
My man , I’m a devoted follower of your channel.now that my son is about to get his first truck I told him I would help him install a decent system but I also pointed him to your channel for further help and information. The reason I commenting is to ask if there is anyway I could some advice on my 2017 ram with the oem head units being so integrated now I was have some issues with installing an amplifier if possible could reach out to me or tell how I could reach you if possible….. thanks for the channel great content I fully aware of the work that goes into it keep it coming
Hey. I want to add speakers for a new home but need to know which type of speaker I should get wireless or wired. WiFi or Bluetooth, etc. Amazon has me stamped
So, is there no need to do a back box on ceiling speakers? I see more commercial brands often have a built in back box but when I look at speakers like you installed, no back box is included and most installers dont use one... Why is that? wouldnt it be like a speaker in our cars where it would sound better if it can have a specific air space to work with? Your application has two speakers playing different channels in the same overall air space so how would that effect eachother?
It would help obviously. All speakers come in cabs. You develop more base with the right resistance. Car exhaust also needs some resistance to run better- back pressure. The more you push the speaker, or a car, the more you need to have it tuned correctly.
do your own research dude. really? should he read it to you too. at some point you have to grow up and do your own work. no wonder he did not reply to you.
My home theater dual subwoofers are the entry level subwoofers from SVS I have Dual SVS PB-1000 Pro and they rattle the pictures frames and my bedroom doors and kitchen cabinets. I’m sure what ever subs Mark gets will rattle those ceiling tiles.

Hi Mark great job and attention to detail has always, will you be giving a list of all audio equipment used ?
Only detail he forgot was to let us HEAR it.

Can I use Bluetooth ceiling speakers with my receiver for Dolby Atmos ??
I install ceiling tile regularly, best thing to cut them is just a sharp razor knife. You want to keep a fresh blade and the tile will never chip

What are your thoughts with those going on a outdoor porch??
Any new videos updates for the weekend?
But there is no box ? that means all the sounds leaks into the ceilings. Did you consider this?
Can you put 2 crossover on car sound audio
Yes or no
3 ch crossover
6 ch crossover
Link to that Dolby website would be good

@D G jesus what an over the top reply, why did you bother. Telling me to grow us just shows how childish that comment is

Youve got such great fabrication skills it's too bad it's not really gonna show on this project.
I reckon Marks got something special planned for the front speakers!!😉

Start with your Your amp. Or av receiver , cables. He can’t see your system so there’s no way to answer your question. 🤷🏻♂️
Do not like the grill
Wow anyone else look at the price on these? Spendy! Great video though.
Shame on you. That hole in the ceiling panel was not flawless and perfect. Isn’t your OCD going crazy too? :P
