As a small shop owner, you don’t need a 25 ft tape when your shop is 9ft wide. I get the 6 and 9 ft tapes and hot glue magnets to them and locate strategically around the shop.
Yes.....I was sleeping in. I limped in after three in the morning and needed to rest the pain out of my knee. All good now No, not the wall....the knee......The wall needs work....Look at all that unused space, you may wanna take the coffee cup shelf down till the work gets done! Unions...
3am is my start time! I'm impressed if that's your end time! The coffee cup holder is a sacred altar to all things tool and shall not be touched! I do however agree to the need to add more wall art!!
For coffee I like the folgers caramel with some of that sugar sweet caramel creamer. That's my coffee stuff of choice. I also really like how your garage is coming. I've done a few organizing stuff on my garage no where near as neat just yet lol. I would make a little spot for your favorite and most used screw drivers and maybe pliers all on one little area that's something I'd do.
hello i am subscriber 206, i really like yr my little garage series. i have a much bigger shop but, mo size mo clutter. i totally identify with yr style age and problem. i am 72 and live just up the coast on Gabriola island BC Ca. ( soon to be 51st state i hear) i find you and yr shop and yr style inspraitional thanks, and i'll be in touch
@@johnchristian6306 Hey neighbor! Glad you are enjoying. Maybe we should opt into the Cascadia plan as I think our ship is sinking!! I hope you find lots here to enjoy either way!
Coffee? I drink stovetop style, made in a stainless bialetti stovetop coffee maker, i drink the cafe aurora brand dark roast Italian blend out of Australia
@@mickfbr That sounds really good! I love when making the coffee and enjoying it while doing nothing all falls into place. I may need a road trip to just enjoy that soon!
Fun fact, did you know that French homes didn’t have cabinets or counters in them? This is where French Cleats came from. When you left one house, you removed your cabinets from the French Cleats on the walls and hung them on the existing French Cleats in the new home.

My research says that French cleat originated from French shipping industry where they would hang shelves and pegs from the walls inside the ship to get ropes and other stuff off the wet floors.

Cafe Bustelo is the best - when I find it on sale, I load up and freeze it!
@@eltoddro Good move. We have it at all the discount stores around here so it's always a good deal!
I love my old wall mounted pencil sharpener also.
@@cliffhaupt5413 I don't know why I like it so much, maybe good memories I suppose!?

@blackbearhiker1420 after this series is done you should do a little video about your favorite tools that you've got.
@iowafox2206 Great idea! I do tend to drift towards my top few and they aren't always the high end ones either..

Very clever coffee holder Tom. I really like your tool wall setup because it is very flexible. Good job.

A couple of good tips there about the cleats, makes me wish I had the wall space!

Be careful that glue squeeze out on French cleats does not glue the mating cleats together.
