Lemme say that echo chamber was a challenge to say the least
All of pre-Lukas albums have Marc's hardest riffs. The reason why Winter Is Coming Soon is the hardest in this list is because the song is mostly in C minor (except for the outro) where the root note is on the first fret and you only play the open noted low B power chord once in the intro.
Just so happens that the best melodic parts of veil of mayas career has happened after Brandon departed. Don’t get me wrong MR Butler was one of the best of the best, and the first two albums are my favourite. But to talk dogshit on this band because they changed sound is dumb. We’ve had the pleasure of having Marc play with both vocalists. Don’t be that asshole that gatekeeps good music , you’re better than that

I think their hardest riffs are from the 1st 2 albums to be honest.

Yeah nah I was surprised when learning these, not too bad at all they’re pretty much just juiced up metalcore riffs so luckily I spent years working on my down picking 😂
