Dude, your skidder is SO quiet! Lol. I ran 518's, 528's, and D7E'e and D7F's in Weyerhauser's Eastern Oregon division. Best years of my life. Loved the video!
Done very something very similar, the buncher cut as much as he could going forward till he got stuck, then I had to drag him out backwards with the skidder. We called it bungee cutting
You are one cool head.. Unless it is just on camera.. LOL You just roll with the punches.. I grew up in a logging family in Michigan and also did some logging in Northern California in the big sugar pine timber.. Keep up the good work.. I enjoy seeing your videos.. R.B.
Hi John, WOW!! I didn't think you where going to get your self out with the front end down that deep. Good job my friend. You're hired!!👍👍 Take care buddy!! Your friend and fellow logger, Al.
YOu learn not to go in the same tracks twice. And when it sets down a little, stop and you don't have to sit on top of the cab waiting to get rescued. Knowing when to stop is a LOT of it. Prayers and BLESSINGS and Goomer Hugs!
So did the other cutter guy leave or just add another guy to the crew. Yeah that's a mess at least you both got out and just keep Rollin and keep up the great video's
Muskeg , we used to lose excavators literally sink 'em in that crud in the '70's slave Lake Alberta, if anybody is watching and ever wondered why they usually only drill oil in the winter...muskeg is why
I’m watching the big girl spin a wheel on the stump and I’m wishing it had the limited slip axels because that was nearly out on its own at the end :o) ( i’d Say diff locks, but nothing seems to have the shaft strength for that anymore)
I was the guy wanting to see more stuck videos. Thought I jinxed you. But this was the best stuck video I’ve seen in a while. I hope you make money off of it. I know it was tough as hell fooling with the camera.
Why no chains on those wheels? Is it because the environment reasons? With chains both those machines would get out that little amount of mud on their own. Also a track buncher would be way better, it can easy push it self out with the boom, and of course drop the heavy weight of the trees first before trying to get unstuck
If you get a dual arch skidded stuck it’s bad But I’ve never so stuck I couldn’t get my self out use the dual arch to push your way out I’ve done it serval times in situations way worse than this
Yep,gotta cut trees and lay them down to use for a "road" to track out on.Common method for logging wet ground and swamp.Pick up the log road on the way back out.
@@paulmccallum4229 just didn't know to run it properly, I've seriously walked around a swamp, water all around the buncher, lift tracks to walk and turn..only common sense
Kiwi in a skidder ... I'm buried Like F^&*% I'm Buried. American ... I'm buried ... lets do something dumb ... like turn my winch away from the hard ground ...
The bigger the machinery the more fun getting them unstuck! This is the fun time logging 😂😂😂
Hey big John that’s spot on bud have a good one
Awesome video, good job fellas!
I love it when a plan comes together.be safe out there and take care John.✌️🇺🇸✌️🇺🇸🚛🚛

what does it mean?
@@spaghetti9845 What does WHAT mean?
@@lewiemcneely9143 all of it
@@spaghetti9845 You'd have to be an operator and then you'd know already.
Yikes. Thats hard on profits. Stay safe.
I'm just curious, do these machines not have diff-lock? I've ran just about every other piece of equipment but never a skidder.
Ole Dude yes they do
Our skidder had diff lock but some pump went out and now it doesn't have it
You got mad skills dude
Quick call the " Swamp Loggers " They have the right stuff to get you both out . :-)
Mud sucks! Thanks for the video Mr John.
Hats off to the new guy he got you out pure skill hahaha see ya Napa mike
Great job
Hey big John. Ice one bud have a good one
Doing the mud dance, oh oh
LOL great post guys
Usually not a dull moment with mud and heavy equipment....in fact it's very entertaining at times, (although costly) as in this video.

Stuck is when you have to get someone to pull you out, LOL you fellas were just detained a bit
Bobby goodson is on his way to help you now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome skidder!!
It's junk dude
Tigercat skidders are WAY better

just want to say great job on that

My dad taught me that once the tires get wet start making other arragements
Tough to "Keep Rollin' " when you are knee deep in mud.
Love the live action
Agreed

Way to go. No quit in you
Good job bud, but I think being your working a wet low spot you probably need to run duals on your skidder and cutter
How bout tracks! Track buncher, 630 tigercat w track chains
Need to take some lessons from Bobby Goodson
Simitrio would work circles round them boys
Why no chains in the tires?
Do they not have a locking diff?
What state is this, looks like New England somewhere
What happened to the Tigercat ?
It's ripping around a different block, not stuck
looks like y, all need more rain too lol !
Somebody call Bobby goodson for help now!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet old josh is going to have fun with you
Good job too!
I am guessing you guys never seem to run chains? maybe better off with a track cutter. nice videos though, interesting to watch
Chains and diff.lock guys :-)
I simply cannot understand why operators don't know the "diff lock" switch. This is for agriculture Tractors, skidders, fellers, etc.
Can't turn worth crap when its on, I hardly ever used mine dude, it helps not having a heavy p.o.s
Need the diff’s locked.
Not necessarily, it's how u drive it, I hardly ever used diff lock
"ONE Handed baby ...all day long"... fukin eh eh
Oh no yall got a sticky icky mess.. going on.. hopefully y'all both will get out...
Why didn't you have your axle locked in
Places like that is where you throw all the tops and limbs from the delimber.
Don't help having that heavy ol tank
John you need at least 50 to 100 feet of cable what’s with this short stuff😎
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
iffy i was nearby id get that wiht kimmy shovel rds , works good !
We need Bobby here in n Delta Colorado.nothing but tress
Dam do i miss skiding.. Good video..555 cat was the last cat i run.. Is yours a 535?
Yeah we have 3, 535 and 1 545. Thanks for Watching
Omg dude the cat skidders are garbage, heavy ,need a football field to turn em around
Can I give this 2 thumbs up!?!?!? Don’t believe you could have scripted that and made it workout any better! Just keep plowin in this case!!!😀😀
Hmm where`s the diff lock?
Alot of time I got out because it wasn't on! Just gotta learn the throttle, wiggle out without spinning, help not having a tank!
Yea, try to unhook that cable, that is what makes things fun. If you don't try that would be boring. You have better tires than him.
Was he stuck again at the end of the video?
Maybeee.....
What state is this in
yah oattah bag that dirt for potting soil lol !
Big tire some time u just need to playing in the mud lol

The force is weak with these operators
Somebody needs some dualing plates! Spinning ain't winning. Prologger you are supposed to know when you see them Ash the ground is no good
Spinning is cutting tires too.
How much money you clear that day? Lol it sucks for sure didn't need b n there
Wheres the track machine
Time for longer winch cables
Should have had chains on lol, even the boss gets an oops now and then
Good video but don't get my equipment muddy again 😇
CHAINS!!!!
i just did a soggy river bottom with no bottom bout 1500 ft long & never made a rut !

My boss would have fired this dude for not having the sense to back in to the problem ,,but they had a lot of time to talk about it
Just saying,..... I would have backed in there to begin with.
why not jus use the cutter head on the ground to lift front wheels a little or is not allowed though looks like so much fun to me
I'm a dumb kiwi; but there are snakes in the bush, aye?
Good joob
Tiger cat
Pull my finger...lol ok now pull me out this mud hell
These guys need some lessons on running equipment. Especially a skidder
Track cutter time
go watch his new video..... Tracked buncher stuck in same spot?

Ground disturbance don't seem to be a issue why not
Get ahold of Bobby Goodson he will show you how to get them out
A little lighter on the throttle maybe. You don't want to get spinning.
ALL GO NO QUIT
Yes sir!!
Cool
Chains would have been good
