Hi Ben so sorry your having a tough time, and sorry for your loss. Words can do little to help but hope the love you have received through this channel shows you how much of a positive impact you have on people. The sun will always rise and this too will pass. It's hard not to worry about money especially when its your own business and its not coming in. Remember this though you don't know what tomorrow holds it may be another slow day or it may be absolutely rammed but what can you do about that today? Stress and worry wont make the phone ring or add money to you bank. But it will Rob you of your time and happiness today. Even if the worst thing happened tomorrow all that stressing over it today means that you suffer twice. If you go and do something you enjoy today you will be in a better place to face tomorrow. Keep fighting 1 day at a time. Paul 👍
My husband and I absolutely love watching your channel- you keep us thoroughly entertained! So sorry for your loss. Losing our loved ones is always a shell shock and hope you are supported well. Good to see that you managed to get this job in and break up that quiet patch. First time commenter- long time subscriber! :)
You definitely looked a little defeated in the beginning of the video ben but remember you do bring joy and much needed laughter to so many people stay strong mate and I'm sorry for you loss😔
Good evening Ben, sorry about your loss, your right about the sunrise, sometimes it might be the brightest thing in you day but it's that bright everyday. The chest cam a good way of showing what you do, keep up the great work . Take care and stay safe
Sorry for your loss Ben. Stay positive, every small business goes through times where they take one step forwards and three steps back. Keep those chins up.
Chin up Ben pal, there doesn't seem to be a lot of joy around at the minute and a lot of relief is being given by guys like you on UA-cam, Chris Allen the pro struggler who has really bad days but always finds the light side, the Baxendale lads and Ali Kaye on Ali's digger diary a really positive and hardworking guy, condolences for the loss of ya mate pal just remember ya never ever alone we are here.
Thanks for the video. Sorry about the loss, one of my favourite channels is D & J projects. But actually started watching you when was mentioned on there channel.
Thought I'd end up with my electric mini on a tow truck last Sunday when it decided to use more power than i expected . I wasn't impressed. My Mini is the 2023 model with the max 115 miles range which normally suits me ok, but not when I went to the waddo car meet and it used 50% b4 i got there. Then there werent chargers where i expected them to be and sleaford tescos was out of service. Nightmare which resulted in me getting a family member out to me at Bicker Bar Esso A17/A52 when their chargers wouldn't authorise my cards and i had 21 miles to go and 17 of gogo juice. I have never felt such stress, I just went to pieces. Sorry you lost a pal in the past week, the Mini world also lost someone, a lovely lady she was. Keep your chin up with those positive thoughts.
Sorry to hear of your loss buddy. As you keep saying, silly season is around the corner, keep your chin up and keep looking forward. The door knocking one really bamboozled me mate and I shall be making a conscious effort in future (where there’s no doorbells fitted) to save energy and knock at crotch height!!! 😂
Sorry to hear about your loss. I am sure that business will pick up now that the silly season is about to start. In my town, the only thing pigeons do are walk into greggs and subway to pick the crumbs off the floor and me constantly chasing them away whenever i am in there🤦♂️ I watch a guy called shaun thomson on youtube as he is an owner operator who highlights the struggles of trucking life.(not a PG rating though🤦♂️). Keep your chin up and keep fighting on buddy👍
Ben so sorry for your loss mate I lost my dad a few weeks ago too so completely get why you haven’t felt up to editing , Look after yourself and have a great week hope things get better for you real soon 🙏

Morning, evening, afternoon Ben. Been in a similar situation all be it not recovery it was haulage. Really good weeks then quiet with really low earnings, one or two punctures or breakdowns and BAM all your hard work gone. Quit whilst your able to and settle for no stress and a regular wage . Sorry to be a defeatist but as they say bin dere done dat. I bounced back several times but if I’d have carried on I’d be rocking now in an institute!! Good luck mate 👍
I know what you mean mate, but I came from an environment where I had a regular good wage but terrible management. I'm definitely better mentally working for myself. It will bounce back, it has to.
We as humans taught pigeons everything.. they are super clever hence why we used them to carry messages etc. Go down a rabbit hole on pigeons and how we have failed them, it's pretty sad. Keep on trucking and making videos. 👍
Chest cam is good. Other recovery channels I watch are: Recovery with Steve, Ron Pratt, Pepe's Recovery, Matt's off road rescue, Heavy D Sparks, and there's others I can't remember what they're called. Good luck with everything! 😁👍

Another great video Ben, was getting a bit worried about you tbh, with not seeing anything from you for a bit, anyway, glad you are getting back to your positive self again, and sorry to hear about your recent loss, hopefully things will start picking up for you soon mate. Take care out there.
Hello Ben, life is full of challenges, "highs & lows" and loosing close friends - sadly!! I am sure that you will overcome in time. Always enjoy travelling in the cab with you - often saying "I have been there" or "I know where that is!!" when I recognise a place. Best wishes from Leasingham.
Saw you coming thru town with that on earlier today. . Good job for a Sunday 😮 Sorry for your loss, keep your chin up.😊. . Im with you on the pigeons! 😅

Lovely to get a video. You make me, and I'm sure others, happy while we escape into your world. Doing the odd DJ set and having to push through and be that happy guy I can appreciate what it takes for you to make a video when your heart is somewhere else. Sorry for your loss and sending a virtual brotherly hug. Keep your chin up Ben. Oh, here's a thought why not check out those channels who sub to you, those channels may need a lift that you had from your OG's. What goes around etc.

Chin up Ben, when you start picking up all the floods work that’s coming, things will be back to normal. You’re such a positive guy normally, and I’m sure good things happen to nice people. 😎So sorry for your loss mate too. 🥲
Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time of it mate. The loss of a close friend on top of everything else could make everything seem very bleak but it's these tough times that make us better appreciate the good times. I like the chest cam footage. A few of the smaller channels I watch that I think you might like are Ashley Hale UK, HGV content. Really down to Earth nice bloke with some interesting content on Plant movements. Truckinator. Another HGV channel on General haulage in the North West and around the UK. And Big Jobber. Geordie lad that reviews dash cam footage but actually knows what he's talking about and demonstrates how most people haven't got a clue about the highway code and road law and promotes driving best practice and how the law applies in accidents. Keep up the good work and try to stay positive. Things will come good for you in the end.
Good to see you Ben, I wouldn’t mind some review videos if times are a bit crap. Feel I’d trust you not to blow smoke up the arse of something you felt was crap anyway.

At a guess I’d say the link chain between both cams have snapped very common issues we used to see loads at Citroen I’d be interested to know if it is lol
Hi mate, this is a synthetic rope, it's armourline covered hence the colour. I always use bottom arms or axles as tow points corrode and snap mate. Thanks for commenting
Sending positive vibes your way - keep up the good work and hope things pick up. Chest cam is good, better if you could have some static views as well, but a bit more work for you obviously ;)
We have a neighbour that keep pigeons in there garden. They circle round our estate when they come home or fly out and they just empty there ar@e on my cars at least every other day. I’m constantly cleaning shite of the cars it’s very sickening now.
is there any advantage of a full tilt deck over yours? Yours seems a lot simpler (and I assume lighter) and you seem to be able to do everything with it!
A tilt and slide is much better for accident work, mine is good for most things. I'd take a tilt bed any time however my truck isn't even run in yet and reliability is key for a small business
I learnt recently that pretty sad about pigeons.. they obviously used to be a massive part of our infrastructure in delivering messages. When we didn't need them anymore they just got kicked out 😂 that's why they are around humans more than other birds cause they are basically domesticated animals.
Heavy recovery with Steve is good for tech content if not witty inspirational chat. Got bored of GDB but he used to be really interesting. Salveqge rebuilds is brilliant, Kev Tee and Scott Andrew's for trucking. Tom Pemberton, Px farms and wardy for farming content
1. Pigeons are an important part of the eco system. Where do you think all those bags of stale bread go? NOT LANDFILL.... true environmentalists ♻️ 2. Low knocking? That's bang out order! I identify as a tall person and it is easier for short people to jump for a high knocker than me bend down for low knocker... if you keep knocking and the knocker is low down, it could look quite peculiar from behind if watching #knockingoneout I do love knockers though 🤪
Sorry to hear about your pall mate , the old flying rats pointless, i feel for you mate and your business it will pick up again and we will have some great content were all staying and going nowere all the best ben
Pigeons are our fault. They used to be pets/ stock used to send messages and could be very highly trained. As soon as the telgreph was popularised and the pigeons became useless, they were all dumped.

Your rant about pigeons 😂 sounded like Monty Pythons rant "What have the Romans ever done for us" 😂
Ha ha yeah, great sketch that
Have you thought bout going to synthetic rope, Ben?. Also. with those Renault vans, there is a tow point in the bumper.
Hi mate, this is a synthetic rope, it's armourline covered hence the colour.
I always use bottom arms or axles as tow points corrode and snap mate. Thanks for commenting
Pigeons are very good in a pie
Yeah I've heard 😂
Tim rodie rides motorbikes is a great funny motorcycle channel. Hope work goes crazy over winter for you Ben.
I'll check it out, thanks mate
Sending positive vibes your way - keep up the good work and hope things pick up. Chest cam is good, better if you could have some static views as well, but a bit more work for you obviously ;)
I'll give it a go mate
We have a neighbour that keep pigeons in there garden. They circle round our estate when they come home or fly out and they just empty there ar@e on my cars at least every other day. I’m constantly cleaning shite of the cars it’s very sickening now.
Heavy Recovery with Steve "R&S Recovery" . GDB. You 😆
Ha already watch them...well I dint watch my own after I put them out 😂
Mate it’s so quiet here as well at the moment hopefully it picks up soon 👍
So weird mate, I just don't get it.
Hopefully we have a crazy winter pal
Hopefully I’ve had a couple of flood recovery’s this weekend so earned a little bit 😂
Loving the content 💯 I've got Indian fantails show birds I got them as they helped me to recover from mental health, keep bringing us the content
Thanks for commenting, I will do!
is there any advantage of a full tilt deck over yours?
Yours seems a lot simpler (and I assume lighter) and you seem to be able to do everything with it!
A tilt and slide is much better for accident work, mine is good for most things. I'd take a tilt bed any time however my truck isn't even run in yet and reliability is key for a small business
I learnt recently that pretty sad about pigeons.. they obviously used to be a massive part of our infrastructure in delivering messages. When we didn't need them anymore they just got kicked out 😂 that's why they are around humans more than other birds cause they are basically domesticated animals.
That is pretty sad actually 😕
Heavy recovery with Steve is good for tech content if not witty inspirational chat. Got bored of GDB but he used to be really interesting. Salveqge rebuilds is brilliant, Kev Tee and Scott Andrew's for trucking. Tom Pemberton, Px farms and wardy for farming content
Great recommendations, some of those I'm friends with
This industry is up and down pal, keep up the good work and positive attitude the phone will ring and won't stop ringing before you know it 👍
Totally mate, the work will come 👍🏼
A few years ago I lost 2 windscreens and 4 mirrors dye to the flying rats one mirror was smashed on the way from getting it fitted
Ha ha, sorry mate that actually made me laugh...they're such a pain in the backside aren't they ha ha
That would drive you to tears
How are ya Ben? Whats happening with the V8 tranny? Are you gonna work on it over the winter?
@Cf-82 it's already started pal...stay tuned
can relate lost someone couple weeks a go....
knocked me for a six...
your cheery vids help...
like the tizer....
N x
Thanks mate, glad you're enjoying them
Same here mate. No work for two weeks…. Really rough then last week and this week flat out… strange trade now days
1. Pigeons are an important part of the eco system. Where do you think all those bags of stale bread go? NOT LANDFILL.... true environmentalists ♻️
2. Low knocking? That's bang out order! I identify as a tall person and it is easier for short people to jump for a high knocker than me bend down for low knocker... if you keep knocking and the knocker is low down, it could look quite peculiar from behind if watching #knockingoneout
I do love knockers though 🤪
Ha ha I love your comments 😄
Sorry to hear about your pall mate , the old flying rats pointless, i feel for you mate and your business it will pick up again and we will have some great content were all staying and going nowere all the best ben
Cheers mate, hope you're well
RMS Diagnostics is a really interesting channel showing car electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs, I think he has just got to 5K subscribers.
@@sprograt I'll check it out. Thanks
Sally's burger bar across from tyre and tech does awsome dinners
Good to know! Thanks pal
Curry and rice. Hunters chicken. And the liver bacon and onions is to die for
Pigeons we're messengers but now they are useless these days . Hope your OK and sorry for your loss
Sad isn't it really when you think about it
Are you with any national breakdown firms, not aa or RAC? I got one I could pass on don't get huge amount of them but it's an extra income.
No mate, I don't have enough staff or vehicles to be accepted by the clubs, I'm ok with that tbf
Maybe you should do more vehicle transport, not just recovery, even agricultural machinery given where you are.
Need to have an operators licence for that, I much prefer live jobs on sode of the road, but maybe you're right. Something to think about
@@Fighting_TorqueSpot on idea for your sort of truck. Banana back trucks here in Australia nearly always are carting tractors etc
Pigeons are food for Peregrine falcons🙂. Work will pick up, I'm sure.
Thanks for commenting pal, hope you're well
Don't forget the Carrier Pidgins!! I think some of them are good at it especially going back to war times.
Yeah totally...I forgot about them
Could you use one of those carly Diagnostic tools .. I have never used one but watch loads of car repairs UA-cam
I have dealer level diag that is a lot better than the Carly stuff. They sponsor a lot of videos which is why they're big on UA-cam
Gdb rescue and recovery is the other channel I watch Ben
Good old Greg, stick a comment on his page and tell him I sent you 😂
Just about halfway through the video mate and you mentioned thinking, that is a dangerous thing to do you could hurt your big toe lol.
It's a scary position to be in! Thinking is bad ha ha
Pigeons are our fault. They used to be pets/ stock used to send messages and could be very highly trained. As soon as the telgreph was popularised and the pigeons became useless, they were all dumped.
Very sad that really isn't it
Don’t know where you are, but I may be able to help out with a Vivaro gearbox
Sounds good, drop me an email.

Mr GDB recovery x
I've known Greg a while. Hardly a small channel now 😂
