Mate your a bloody legend. I took my gearbox out of the transit today in only 2.5 hrs and if you haddent mentioned the locating pin on the subframe I'd still be fighting it now as there's no mention of it in the service manual. So thank you.
Bloody great video, I'm replacing transmission using transmission I have taken out of transit I'm scraping, so I found it easier to cut floor out above transmission. With the transit it is going into I found I had to not only undo the two sub-frame bolts but also the two sub-frame bolts going into the classic . I have also cut neat hole in floor which will weld back so difficult on your back with one pair of hands. I have come in to night leaving it at same spot you ended this video with bell housing resting on steering rack.

nice one on the vid bud,,will the rack and the powerstearing pipework come down a bit with the subframe.or do i need to disconnect the stearing rack anywere..?thanks...
Dropped my van off with a guy that strips and sells van parts , he said a gearbox off his van would fit my van so let him change it over as my gearbox wasn’t going in first , he’s took my box off and he said his box won’t work on mine I’m fuming , now having to wait to get my van back
