  • Hey lovelies, I am excited to try a brand new product to the market. Elichem contacted me and asked if I would like to try their new Hydroflow Eco Water based Compound. In this video I am showing how Hydroflow works and how to create a trinket tray using Hydroflow.
Hydroflow by Elichem is a 2 part system comprising of a powder and liquid. The ratio for Hydroflow is 1 part to 2.5. 1 part liquid to 2.5 parts powder.
Hydrowflow is available in the USA and Elichem ship worldwide.
Hydroflow can also be used to create Terrazzo items.
Hydroflow can be sealed using the liquid componant from your kit. It can be sanded wet or dry straight after de-mould.
Hydroflow is heatproof up to 120 degrees perfect for coasters and Trivets.
You have up to 15-20 mins work time with Hydroflow and the de-mould is a 1.5-2 hours later.
Pigments can be added to Hydroflow such as Acrylic Resi -Tints available from Elichem and also any acrylic based pigment. I am using Acrylic Paint in this video.
Hydroflow is similar yet very very different to products used in previous videos.
To purchase Hydroflow please go direct to Elichem:
www.elichem.co... they ship worldwide and from their USA base also.
The results shown in this video are my own.
This is a collaborative video with Elichem. They sent me the product to try. I cannot be responsible for the product if it is not to your liking

I have tried different alternatives and I dont like when the liquid part is like water, difficult to work with. Very chalky finish and lack the gloss and smooth finish if Jesmonite. It feel more like plaster, not great experience with wet sanding, the project becomes very soft and it is hard to sand evenly. No to mention the bubbles!!

I checked by typing the website on google search and the website exists and works, it's just the link that is not working (just in case someone thinks the website is down like I did initially lol). Another thing to note, is this message on the EU website: **Please note we are unable to ship orders below €150 from July 2021 due to new VAT rules in the EU** . “ Yes we do ship to Australia, however the reason it’s not listed as a destination on our .co.uk website is because we have a branch there that handles all Australian deliveries and sales locally. So we ship to them and they deliver countrywide from Perth. Please contact Ollie at www.resin it.com.au “

Ooh this looks cool! I’d love to see how these would work with painting on alcohol inks once dry then sealing over?? I don’t suppose you could test that out on some coasters or something for us?? ☺️☺️
Also, does this product require you to use a respirator mask? Is it safer than resin? 🤔

    • @ClairesCraftyCorner

Heyyyy Rachel .... ohhhh that is such a cool Idea .. I will definitely have a go and share that x Yes it is safer than Resin ... you need a dust mask not a respirator x

You made a mistake in the colouring I just read the instructions lol. Your color is supposed to be added to the liquid before you add the powder. But it really does look like angel delight.. I blame you.. I just bought some

Heyyyy Dana, ha ha yesss I read that too ... but decided to put the colour in the mix. I find it hard to mix Acrylic paint in to a watery liquid. Takes a lot of work ... lol x It would have been perfectly fine I just should have mixed better :) x blame me its ok haaaa
