I have made chess pieces with epoxy resin on the top half and then the casting g compound on the bottom half… they turn out really nice and unusual… and when I don’t want a "pastel" color for the compound, I will use some acrylic paint after it has cured comes out of the mold… then seal it with a sealing agent… finding many different uses for the casting compounds and resins :)
Hi Louise, Your hubby will definitely be after these for your New CAFE WOW absolutely Beautiful looking as you said really bright & Cheerful looking I loved them all 🤗 thanks for sharing But the best part of your video was Honey at the start 😂 so super cute. ❤️👍 Lin
I ordered 10kg of Aqua Cast after seeing your first video on it 🤣 and I’m in the US 😳 I absolutely love it!!! And thank you for this video - I’m loving the experimentation 🥰
First, I really like how everything turned out!! Secondly… I just love listening to you talk. You are so lighthearted and kind sounding. Thank you for sharing your art and your sweetness with us ❤🎉
That was really cool! The tray is really interesting with the mix of Aqua Cast and resin. I love the little pots! They're really cute and I love the frosted glass effect from the mold. I especially love the hot pink! I really love that color.
The aqua cast is only available there in the UK 😢 I use a casting compound called Perfect Cast. The only thing I do not like about it is the way it accepts pigments. I can never get anything other than a pastel … I have found that is I use a mica powder in my mold first like you would with regular resin, and then pour the casting materiel with pigment in it, the colors will be much deeper and not as pastel…
@@LouiseSingletonCreations yes, the shipping is really not worth it right now… but, it’s just a matter of time before the US will get something like your aqua cast! Usually it is the UK who is waiting on something that we have here! I love your channel! I'm glad I found it! Have a blessed day dear!
I really liked it for sure !The 3 pots were very nice but the blue one was my favorite. Very nice work as usual. I enjoy seeing your projects. The tray was something surprisingly beautiful to look at. I actually loved it. Thank you again for the experiment.
Oh, I LOVE that matte finish, Louise! It really does look like frosted glass! ❤😊 The whole set is so cute, so cheerful! I love bright Spring colors. 🌸 If your mold sticks, maybe use a couple of quick sprays of soapy water (dishwashing detergent) or silicone spray. Should work a treat! Thank you for another really fun video, girl. You are such a pleasure to listen to. ❤😊
I really like how they came out; so bright and pretty. Really love the frosted look the mold gave to the resin. Definitely think it bears more exploration. Could get some amazingly cool effects.
First like first comment ❤ Love your works . When you turn the tray I was like "wow" that's beautiful with unique look. And those pots are so bright and attractive
I love your videos and after seeing the Aqua Cast in action I wanted to try it. Unfortunately the cost of the VAT added to the price was too much for me to buy. Will wait to see if they sell it on Amazon.
I love these products so much..I'm in Australia and have found where I can order some.. This set is beautiful 😻 and I love the pendants too.. very nice 🙂
Question - I know you don't have to seal Jesmonite unless you're planning to use it outdoors - is this the case with Aqua Cast too? I think sealing might be optional otherwise? What's your experience of that please?
Hi, yes I think it is pretty much the same. If you want to make anything which will get wet like a soap dish, seal it. If you want to add decals or tattoos, seal it first. If it’s going to come into contact with food it is foodsafe WITHOUT pigment but otherwise I seal with Clarkes beeswax sealant. Also if it is going to have a lot of everyday contact (like a coaster) I would seal it too for protection. I hope that helps x
Very good question. If you apply the resin to the cured Aqua Cast the join is strong but if you tried to add the aqua cast on top of cured resin is would not be a strong join. As far as strength goes I haven’t actually done a drop test (that could be a video idea) it feels very robust but I would say that due to the nature of what it is, it probably wouldn’t be as strong as resin.
@@LouiseSingletonCreations I'd definitely be watching a smash test if there is one! I asked the suppliers of the Eco-Pour H2O if it would withstand a child dropping something and they said it would as they've so far failed to break one so that would be a great test as well!
I love your videos and your tips! I have a request: your title music is so much louder than your voice is and after I’ve turned up the volume to hear you speak it’s quite jarring. Can you possibly adjust that in your future videos? Thank you so much
Here is the link for Aqua Cast (15% discount code 15louise09) www.elichem.co.uk/aqua-cast-water-activated-casting-compound

Thank you so much Jeanneh ❤️
I love this set! I like the back of the tray better than the front, but it's still very pretty. The jars are gorgeous! I like the medallions, too.
They're all very cute. I love the colors.
Beautiful & very creative. I'm going to try it myself. Thank you!

They are very pretty! The yellow one reminds me of Lemon Meringue pie filling. (Adds lemon meringue pie to shopping list).

I really love the break between them. Thanks for the new twist! Love your channel!
I like this and I have been thinking of mixing another casting compound with resin in a mold. Now for sure I am going to try it! Great video.
Love the pots and tray! Awesome! The pendants are cute. Maybe topcoat them with a bit of glitter to make them sparkle.
oh Louise they are all amazing!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!😄
I love watching your experiments!🥰
Fantastic colours
I love the whole set. I see that set in a tween girls room to hold her trinkets. So cute.

I am curious if you can dust a mold with chameleon powder or flakes and still pick up the color the same way that resin does with this product.
Where do you get your throw away mats from that you put on your table?

Is there a week point where the matrrials join? Is the compound as forgiving as resin if dropped? Xx

I am a year late with my comment. All 4 are very cute.
You are so kind. Thank you ❤️
Love your voice 😂
Thank you so much xx
You sound like Bendy from disenchantment 😊😊
I actually googled that but couldn’t find it 🤣

Absolutely, thank you for pointing that out, I will watch out for that.
