Thank You for this fantastic demo and how You(!) think, just another way and sometimes that can start me think in New and different way. Always good to get others view, than You can decide what to do or just let it go, at least for now.
something very moody.. like rain is looming.. about this painting.. thanks for showing how to use the salt. I have seen demonstrations on it, but not in an actual application.. love the result x
To see that someone of your talent and ability can still be hesitant or worried about ruining the painting is enormously encouraging. Towards the end I was thinking, “maybe crop the sky? so I cheered when that’s what you did. As a result of this video I’m going to keep going with watercolour.
I usually love your paintings but I honestly find this particular neutral panting a little flat, the raw sienna certainly helped. Thanks for all that you do and the giving of your watercolor knowledge in these wonderful tutorials!
I really like how you analyze while you build up your painting! It is so wonderful that you share your thought process! Super helpful! I am very grateful to learn from your videos! Will see you on Skillshare too!
Thank you for this wonderful demonstration! :) I love being able to watch you work through your process and how you're making choices and responding to the painting as you go... it's super helpful!
Thanks for your video. My I ask what is the difference between use the white watercolour you had use here with the pen instead of use the acrylic inks you use in some other video? What guide you in the choice?
Thanks so much for sharing all your skills, and your lovely paintings. You are so generous. You even share how to make the fantastic granulation. Do you, or does anyone actually know, how artist as for example Naomi Tydeman makes these concentrated white threads of granulation?
I was afraid that would be the answer. I have searched and searched for a long time, but it seems, that there are only a handful of artists who know this secret 😏 I won’t stop trying to work it out 🙃🙂. Thank you for answering 😊

Love seeing your problem solving thoughts.
I can’t wait to start experimenting with mixing greys. Thank you so much 😊
Wonderful demonstration!, I like the way you think aloud to see how you take decisions and make the painting work. Beautiful outcome!, thank you!
This was a very informative video for me. I appreciate hearing your insights and thoughts as you paint. Thank you!!
Another wonderful tutorial! Thank you Jean :)

Lots of lessons learned. Thank you.
I love all your paintings and I love listening to your voice even more!
Love your tutorials!
Beautiful watercolor!
Thanks for your video. My I ask what is the difference between use the white watercolour you had use here with the pen instead of use the acrylic inks you use in some other video? What guide you in the choice?
One can remove the white watercolor but once you have used ink and it dries, it is permanent. Hope this helps.
you are gifted Jean, I love your painting style.
Beautiful painting , Jean. Very restful and serene. Who makes the Blue Apetite Genuine color? Is it close to a Payne's Gray?
It's not as dull as a Payne's grey. Blue apatite genuine is a Daniel Smith color.

I wish I knew because I love her granulating watercolors.
