      @@FikriLazuardi-gg7iy That's kind of true, but not exactly. Even before joining Hololive, she was going to the gym regularly and she was already boxing as a hobby. The funny thing is, it was a hobby for her but her coach gave her a professional training regiment, meaning she was undergoing the same training a pro would. That was the origin of her almost unlimited stamina as it is the most important thing for a boxer, not strength, not speed, but stamina. You need to have a huge amount of stamina to be able to stand on the ring for multiple rounds after all.

      To those who don't know: Kazunoko is one of the few players who managed to win against Daigo in a first to 10 back in SF4, which is impressive because Daigo is almost unbeatable in first to 10 matches and SF4 was back when Daigo was younger and had quicker reactions. For reference:
      - Tokido (one of the greatest fighting game players ever), at the peak of his powers in SF5, challenged Daigo to a first to 10 in SF5. This match happened years after Daigo and Kazunoko's first to 10 match, so Daigo was older. Daigo beat Tokido 10 to 5.
      - Infiltration (one of the best SF4 and SF5 players ever) played Daigo in a first of 10 in SF4. He was using Akuma, who was widely considered the best character in the game at the time. He also had just won EVO, the biggest fighting game tournament in the world. Daigo beat him 10 to 2.

    Something so funny about kazunoko, one of my favorite sf4 players, being so impressed by korone. Even if it wasn't the most "clean" play, she had a good grip on what to do, even if most of it seemed to be on instincts. She also plays on classic, which says a lot too. While yes I know some pros were/are on modern, the number wasn't exactly particularly high either.

    • @runbaa9285
      @runbaa9285 Рік тому +32

      She plays JP, who is arguably, borderline unusable on Modern Controls. JP needs access to all versions of his specials, be it light, medium, or heavy to be effective, which is missing from Modern Controls. Most pros who play on Modern usually play Luke who, aside from the universal damage nerf, isn't that much less effective on Modern toolkit-wise compared to Classic.

    • @eeeeeeeev

      @@runbaa9285they are not missing on modern controls, you just require manual inputs for them to get the light, medium and heavy versions because the special button will only do the medium versions.

    • @_Snowflame

      In specific, JP is missing versions of Stribog -- his two-hit purple slash.
      Stribog his Neutral Special on modern, so he gets the light and OD versions. He can't access the other versions because it's normal QCF command on Modern has to be used for his Torbalan ghost projectiles.
      H Stribog is the one that wallbounces. OD Stribog also wallbounces, but it's a weaker bounce and fewer combos work.

    Seeing Korone go from like barely doing crouching medium kick into hadoken to having amazing control over JP is honestly just great to see. Love to see that kind of improvement and dedication here playing fighting games. She still has to work out what to do in a panic, and I think that's a lot of players problems, but when THATS your major issue, then you know you got the makings of a great player.

If she had been playing the game for 10+ years like most of the pros, what she is capable of is obviously not considered good, but if you picked SF up a few months ago, without playing any other fighting game, can you honestly say you would not consider this "good"? just managing proper input control takes quite the amount of skill to master
