@@blackpepper2610 Learning Japanese as an English speaker is considerably hard, it can take upwards of 6 years to become fluent. I find it genuinely impressive how effortlessly funny she is in a language she isn’t fluent in yet. Humor is hard enough for people to convey in their native language, and it usually doesn’t translate well. I guess what I’m trying to say is KORONE BEST DOGGO ❤️.
I think the randomness of the English language makes it both easy and harder to click depending on learning style because of how many meanings a can word have
It seems Japanese entertainers such as Korone and the other hololive girls have fully realized and embraced the comedic potential in the English-Japanese language barrier specifically. I’ve noticed that impromptu English challenges are actually pretty common in various Japanese media. It’s also a pretty good excuse for entertainers such as korone to try to pick up English as a second language (something that is very commendable regardless!). And yes, Korone is best doggo. I can’t help but smile while watching her.

@@brosephnoonan223 As a hotdog, I've only heard of the walking dead, but I don't have netflix so that's probably why
Definitely!
I find it genuinely impressive how effortlessly funny she is in a language she isn’t fluent in yet. Humor is hard enough for people to convey in their native language, and it usually doesn’t translate well.
I guess what I’m trying to say is KORONE BEST DOGGO ❤️.
I think how earnestly she tries to learn the language adds to the humor too
Protein bar
I think the randomness of the English language makes it both easy and harder to click depending on learning style because of how many meanings a can word have
She's trying so hard and it makes it that much better
It seems Japanese entertainers such as Korone and the other hololive girls have fully realized and embraced the comedic potential in the English-Japanese language barrier specifically.
I’ve noticed that impromptu English challenges are actually pretty common in various Japanese media. It’s also a pretty good excuse for entertainers such as korone to try to pick up English as a second language (something that is very commendable regardless!).
And yes, Korone is best doggo. I can’t help but smile while watching her.
4:03 Korone's take on You Spin Me Round by Dead Or Alive.
14:06 is wholesome in my opinion.
11:38 "Secret? Secret Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii mushroom! (panic laugh) oops!"
She almost did it again fellas XD
She almost tripped up saying mushroom in jp again lol
11:57 Fix
OOP-US
I just said "nice save" out loud
Almost, but she caught herself!
7:08 made me laugh more than it should 😂
1:22 This 'bye' sounds so natural.
14:57 I LOVE HOW HER FACE CHANGED WHEN SHE GOES "O H"
Broke: Teenage Mutant Nina Turtles
Woke: Flying Weapon Turtle Stronger
I laughed at "olive boy"
Olive boy, calm down!
Walking dead -> 24 -> Prision break -> Netflix
when she pronounced pipe wrong and the chat was freaking out it was hilarious.
"pi-pe!"
"PAIPU! PAIPU!"

ここのリズムめっちゃ好き
I love this rhythm
3:54-4:02 was straight up HEAT dude when is someone gonna remix this? XD
"Hello Human"
She said it!
She finally said it!
I love how sassy she gets when she says "Smol smol turtle house"
13:48 ah yes, my favorite mario 64 level
Okay, but pronouncing pipe as pi-pe is adorable. I'm tempted to start calling it that now.
Not to mention “Spinny” like omg-
@@SydneyIsSleepy yes. cutest doggo.
Had ro scroll so much to find this
Just time-stamping the "Who are you?" "I'm tahtul!" exchange at 12:43 because for some reason I find myself coming back to it a lot.
I haven't watched korone's first english only stream but you can clearly tell that her vocabulary is expanding. I love that she's trying her best and that makes me want to try my best learning japanese too
Her pronounciations are also getting better.
12:25
She sounds like that merchant from Resident Evil 4
She actually loves that npc
Could DEFINITELY sense her channeling that merchant, yes yes XD
yeah i think she made a reference of it lmao
The way she uses 'boy' after things (like 'olive boy') shows such clear internet influence in her English. Reminds me of Hachubby.
I love how she says random complex English words with zero context when she's panicking.
6:50 me trying i try to remember my password on a site I hardly use
I love how she blurts out things like "Independence Day reprise" in between long stretches of only the most basic words.
Korone: no japanese
Japanese people : understandable have a nice day
Korone's "I am Goofy!" and subsequent laughter gives me the strength to carry on in life.

DAMN
IM DEAD
THANK YOU
FOREVER
I love how she started singing "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)". Really shows that music is a universal language!
