In this video I share my Hyssop bush/ plant. It is often called a shrubby bush. It attracts bees, and other beneficials. The book of Pslams 51:9 says "Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean." The German abbess/ herbalist St. Hildegard of Bingen wrote that "Hyssop cleanses the lungs." She also recommended a meal of chicken cooked in Hyssop as a treatment for sadness. Jewish priests used Hyssop to clean their temples and other places of worship for many centuries. T.J. Lyle writes it is a "diffusive aromatic, stimulating and relaxing with mild tonic properties...it promotes expectoration, relieves asthmatic coughs, and many be employed in colds with soreness of the chest."

I just sowed some hyssop seeds with mint, and spearmint in my very small garden, and I am excited to see what our Father provides. Aside from one cherry tomato plant a friend gave me, I have only sowed seeds, and given it to Him. God is so good, and he has already grown so many wonderful things in my little space.

Interesting plant. I love my anise hyssop. Attracts soooo... many bees. It's 100ft from the front entry of the house just in case somebody might have anaphylactic reaction.

Thank you for sharing about your success with hyssop. That's a huge amount of growth for a first year, did you start that from seed? Or did you purchase a plant? Thanks, I've planted thousands of these every year, but the results are highly variable. Looking deeper... wasn't aware of the scriptural context, interesting! Thanks.
I purchased the plant. Thousands! Sadly to say, the plant did not seem to survive this past winter. I had it 2 years. Hoping a little bit survived and maybe will come up next year, but I will try again.

No I haven't heard of cleaning with it. But I use it to cleanse negative energy. It is very powerful as an essential oil- so "anything is possible" ⭐
Intention is what shuts the portal! Close never to reopen and send back through it whatever came in send it back and close never to be reopened. You can use the energy of herbs without having the actual herb too it’s all done with intention
The Holy Spirit of God Almighty can get rid of any evil demonic, unclean spirits that are around you! Satan can not exist where the Holy Spirit of Almighty God resides!! Plead the blood, in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Demand this evil spirit to leave in Jesus name! Any demonic spirit/demon has to flee in the name of Jesus.

@@SheepHillHerbs When I lived in a country near Israel, Origanum syriacum is what was pointed out to me as Biblical hyssop. Those people could have been mistaken, I don't know for 100% certain.
Origanum syriacum is Zaatar.
