As a fellow subway worker there can be many rude customers. I'm 16 and have been doing subway for 2 years. You meet a lot of interesting characters. However, customers like the one you just served always turn my long 10 hour shifts and my long days around. Love your vids mate :) I've changed a lot of my general subway jobs to how you do it because it's just so much easy. Keep up the great work!
About 5mo ago my nephew told me he works at subway in Mi & said he only makes 9.50hr starting off. I felt something was off so I researched min wage& found out for the state of Mi its 'suppose' to start off at 9.87hr. I told him to take that information to his manager to see what he says. Allegedly his manager responded with, 'but if you include tips your making at least 2dollars extra an hour.' My nephew refuted the claim with a simple break down of arithmetic on paper & concluded that even if he made a extra 100 a mo it would still equate to less than $1hr extra. After that conversation the manager &neph decided to come to a consensus that he can get a raise as long as he doesn't share any of the information disclosed this with any of the crew. Short story long he now makes $12hr bcuz he was informed & brought it to their attention& didn't back down. What I got from this was know the ins &outs of your income, don't be afraid to challenge your boss& if a job wants to start you off at less than $10hr in 2021, then keep looking bcuz you can get scammed even by your place of employment.
If I read it right, the rest of the employees are still getting screwed. It is illegal to prevent any employee from sharing what they get paid with another employee. This is something I only recently found out, because practically every job I have had says not to share my wage with fellow employees. Turns out, completely against the law.
@@MisterPuggles To be fair that's generally because if everyone knew how much each other was getting paid it'd be a non stop of "why am I not getting this much" and would really harm a work place, it's not the companies fault if some people know that they can negotiate their pay.
@@Jrenyar Pay all employees who have the same position the same rate of pay. Don't lowball them and then say "oh well they should have negotiated". If the work place can't handle it, then they have failed as a business and shouldn't be open. It is very weird you are defending a theoretical company over an employee just wanting to make the same as the others he works with.
What sandwich does a pepperoni and bacon get entered as on the computer? a BLT? pizza sub? veggie delight with added pepperoni and bacon options? All I could think when he was ordering all that bacon and double meat on menu items that don't already have them is "thats gonna cost him" lol
its a veggie with special request of 10 slices of pepperoni and extra bacon twice ( at least for my store since we dont have a pizza option and BLT option was taken away for us ) OR you can do a double meat spicy italian with extra bacon twice but it throws off the inventory quantitys because you arnt selling the salami)
I love my Subway, but anytime I go in and "Frank" (not his real name, but that's what I'll call him) is there, I'm thinking to myself 'oh no.' The dude can't cut bread to save his life. He's super nice and does a good job putting the subs together, but he could really use a couple more lessons on how to cut the buns. His first initial 'incision' is always a little strange, as he starts the incision more towards the top of the bun (almost like he wants to cut it the old style way when Subway would cut the top of the bun out and temporarily set it aside, creating a 'boat' for the ingredients) which always results in the bottom of the bun being much thicker than the top. Then when it comes to cutting the sub directly in half, yeah, that never happens. One half of my sub is small and the other half is large, LOL. I don't complain. I mean, it's still edible. And I still always tip him, just like I do the girl who works there (who's a superstar at making subs) but it's almost as though this guy can't see very well. Maybe he needs glasses.
What a polite customer.
Imagine if people understand how important being polite is.
he has a nice voice
Awaiting his free cookie... but cruel world and Marmelad cut off the vid
That "can I get" before everything is kind of annoying, but yea props to being polite.

never tried a subway wrap before and man, those looks bomb
The wraps are great. the only issue is that they overfill them and sometimes individually wrap each half so i forget to eat the 2nd half.
