- ARACHNAPHOBIA WARNING! SPIDERS IN HERE
Hello and welcome to this series which will look into various elements of Kingdom Death: Monster with a focus on both strong "meta" strategies and also how to make more goofy and fun options work, because it's not a board game if you are not having fun!
In this video we will be looking at the Silk Mill crafting location which is from the Spidicules Expansion.

Again very good video! I’m really glad that Poots wrote in the last Kickstarter update (111) that the silk armor set will be reworked for COD.
Yes, me too. I really want to like the Spidicules expansion because of how good the showdown is. But the gear and timeline events hold it back.
As always, thank you very much kind sir!
The throwing knife is good for gaining accuracy which you then use with another weapon - as the tokens aren’t weapon specific. It’s probably not as intended, but it is as the rules are (currently) written.
That is still a terrible use for them as you're tanking reactions without progressing towards a win for your team. It is typically better to miss than to hit and fail to wound, especially with defense capabilities of survivors being so strong.

Question not related to this do you ever fight the hand or just sacrifice 4 pleebs?
Sorry about the delay in replying (wasn't notified). Yes I fight the hand, but I don't attack him (except with the Whistling Mace if I have it). The best outcome in that showdown is to live with The Hand's BS and do what he asks (to avoid THE PENALTY instinct) and at the bottom of the AI deck is the Applause card, which is the main win condition that most players aim for. Think of the showdown as a big old giant cut scene where some ultra powerful jerk turns up and patronisingly plays with the survivors. You can also alternatively, if you have hit location scouting, go for the quick win with a deadly critical on The Hand's codpiece.
The Whistling Mace speeds up getting through the AI deck, so it's an option, but every attack against the Hand holds risks.
@@FenBossBattlersThank You I ended up fighting with pleebs and got a TPK . Now I know I was fighting to avoid the loss of resources. Thanks!
