Storyboard - Cinderpelt X Daisy AU - I Wish I Knew You Before

I've had this idea for a while, but it's one I don't think I would have the motivation to turn into a full PMV, so I'm comfortable leaving it as a storyboard for now! I've got the idea out and that's what mostly matters to me haha.
This animatic follows a slight AU where instead of forming a crush on Cloudtail when she moves to ThunderClan, Daisy instead falls in love with the medicine cat Cinderpelt. Both cats are going through a moment of loneliness in their lives so are drawn together, but also both fear that their relationship won't last. Daisy is struggling to cope in ThunderClan, still hurts from her failed relationship with Smoky, fears for her children due to the open hostility she faces from some of the warriors for her origins, and isn't sure if she can truly stay here. Cinderpelt has recently recieved an omen of her own death, feels both betrayed and hypocritical about her apprentice's own illegal relationship, and knows she doesn't have much time left. Neither really wants to honestly confide in the other about this, but neither can resist the joy and relief of the company. They wish they had met earlier, had more time together, that their relationship could have worked out in another world.
After Cinderpelt's death, Daisy ends up remaining in Thunderclan as she does in canon, and has a short lived loveless relationship with Spiderleg. (As a ghost, unbeknownst to Daisy, Cinderpelt also tags along with her niece Cinderheart for a while (which for the sake of this PMV is more like a friendly ghost haunting than reincarnation or possession)). Time goes on, and there are several points in Daisy's life where as a nursery queen she spends time consoling cats grieving loved ones (including, by unfortunate chance, Cinderheart). These situations remind her of her own situation in her youth after losing Cinderpelt, and she feels proud that she can be the comfort for other people she felt she needed at that time, but also ends up ruminating on her lost relationship once again. When she goes to StarClan, will she have a chance to meet the girl she loved once again and try to rekindle the relationship they missed out on? Only time will tell.

i don't think anyone will but jumping in with an important note in case anybody is weird about it- cinderpelt and cinderheart are different people, mostly in canon and definitely entirely here. i'm not intending to imply here that daisy has any romantic feelings for cinderheart whatsoever- she reminds her of cinderpelt (as well as of her younger self) but there is net zero romantic carryover. ok that's all thank u

i dont even know how you had the idea for this but oh my god i really really love this it makes cinderpelt's character more three-dimensional in the way she just. she just gets an omen of her own death like what was starclan thinking 😭and also daisy is way more interesting too with the whole helping others through grief thing fbhhdsjfh i really really love this

dude youre a genius. i hope this inspires an MAP or something bc it's so sweet and heartbreaking and they're so doomed. i love what this adds to both their characters. i love how sweet they are together. yknow when a single piece of art makes you ship something youd never even thought about before? yeah this is it for me. im daisycinder all the way now. thank you for such a beautiful storyboard!!❤❤❤❤
Ough the flashes from Cinderheart to Sparkpelt to Spotfur to a YOUNGER DAISY with Daisy comforting them all (including herself) is just so good. Daisy is such a good person and I’m so glad when people recognize that.
Dude I love all of your PMVS. The expressions are beautiful and I find the way you draw them so cute- and not to mention , I feel as if I can feel their emotions bc of the way you draw them! Just beautiful!

Cinderpelt’s death is something so dark and sad to me. She knew she was going to die and lived with that fear everyday. And still somehow remained strong until the end.
Older Daisy at the end is very sweet. She can’t wait to see her fluffy gf in cat heaven ❤

Making my misty eyed here 💝 DaisyCinder is something I never thought of but they work together perfectly. Also those couple shots of Daisy comforting her younger self is so sweet, this whole beauty is so sweet. All ur pmvs' got me in my feels 💝💝💝
