Love how dragonspine, tsurumi ,enkanomiya and the chasm's soundtracks have melancholy tunes. Kinda hints to how these regions were once inhabited by different civilizations under the jurisdiction of the primordial one. However, now what's left of them are abandoned ruins and wall carvings lost to time after Celestia destroyed them. In the case of enkanomiya, the people moved to the surface and became the people of sangonomiya and lived on watatsumi as a part of Inazuma.
Enkanomiyans were part of the single unified civilization on the surface then they sunk beneath the depths because of the war of the first two descenders Edit: So in a sense the new people of sangonomiya and watatsumi are relatives and descendants of the oldest bygone civilization

Enkanomiya by far has my favorite Genshin OST. The mysterious, dark, yet melodic music mixed with the simplistic yet perfect vocals gave me goosebumps the first time exploring through the region. Keep up the amazing work Genshin
Indeed there were. In order to show the clash between styles of Sangonomiya and Enkanomiya, Dainichi Mikoshi tracks were modified to be accompanied with traditional Japanese instruments. Not only music-wise, but this clash of styles was even present visually, such as the existence of Sangonomiya Samurai in Enkanomiya itself. Though, there being shimenawas in front of Dainichi Mikoshi was the biggest clash of styles. The only drawback is that... I don't think those three tracks are included in this album...
I didn't think anything could hit me as hard as dragonspine's soundtrack (which I am sentimental about as dragonspine was launched when i started the game a year ago) but god. enkankmiya's soundscape absolutely knocked it out of the park. Absolutely reverant, lonely, in awe, and with a weight to the air.
I actually really enjoyed Drops of Time (10:53) Kinda similar to Binding of Isaac - Atempause/Respite All i have to say is that Enkanomiya's muisic is beautiful

"Evanescent Moments" is a tautology... moments are inherently evanescent. It's like saying "swordish swords." I get that the team has to get out translations quickly, and they're getting better: the frequency of these mistakes is decreasing--- but they're still distracting, and what would be elegance is gaudy when weakness is discovered. The music speaks for itself, though, and it's a wonderful presentation!
"Momentary" is a synonym for "evanescent"- so we have "momentary moments," which is exactly like "swordish swords." The analogy would not work for this situation, because evanescence isn't one property of the definition of a moment- it makes up the entire definition of a moment.
