- Genshin Impact's Liyue Chapter OST - "Jade Moon Upon a Sea of Clouds" is out now. The album's three discs "Glazed Moon Over the Tides", "Shimmering Sea of Clouds and Moonlight", and "Battles of Liyue" contain 69 songs composed by Yu-Peng Chen of the HOYO-MiX team for the Liyue region of Genshin Impact. The songs featured on the Liyue Chapter OST were recorded by the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra with special guest folk musicians at AIR Studios and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Hall respectively.

@@darknessterra9953 I dislike those and you have to wait till they pop out because you don't want to waste the fire atk and burn your self causing you to lose hp and heal and when you start healing the dendro slime atks your healer and know you have two character dmged and its uneven and you fear for your life the healing is enough so you kill the slime and just die inside because the healing wasn't enough..
@@DarthUnivers I usually just use Amber to shoot fire at them (or grass around them). They will pop out instantly when they got burned
@@DarthUnivers if you have xiangling (most ppl do), just plop down a turret bear and stand back to watch the bear kill the slime for you

Exactly... All of the other games usually sell their OST for prices equivalent to the game itself, but Mihoyo just puts it out here and Spotify for free.

When I climbed to the Qingyun Peak, I realized that the scenery here is almost same as Zhangjiajie in Hunan Province, China.
I went to Huangshan in China some years back. I was lucky enough to stay at one of the hotels are the top of one of the peaks. In the morning, I went to go see the sun rise. Of course, the viewing platform was jammed with people. As bright and big as the sun is, it gets diminished by the masses of people scrambling loud and trying to take pictures. It was then in my frustration that I turned around and looked at the area behind the viewing platform and, to my surprise, it was almost more beautiful to see the mountains and clouds that the sun shone on.
I tell you truly that the view from that viewing platform looks exactly like the very top of Qingyun peak at sunrise or sunset. It was incredibly nostalgic to see it captured so well in Genshin.

Height is one of my biggest fear. One day, my friends helped me to explore Liyue because I just unlocked the whole map a day before that. They have climbed far ahead of me because I took my time while adjusting my sweaty palms. I was so afraid because we were just too high? I could see Barbatos statue in Mondstadt from there. Once I turned the last three bird and climbed to the wind that pushes us to the Qingyun Peak, my palms got a little more sweaty but this song at 9:51 played and suddenly I feel at ease. It was so far my best experience I had while playing Genshin. Up until this day, i’m able to climb Qingyun Peak all by myself just to watch sunset/sunrise with this song. Thank you, Mihoyo.

I know everyone loves Mondstadt because it's nostalgic but to me, Liyue is my home.
I could imagine renting an apartment and living there forever.
- Joining Zhongli for tea after a long day of playing with the kids at the harbor.
- Chilling on Beidou's ship and getting flustered as she shamelessly flirts with Ningguang.
- Listening to Hu Tao's ghost stories with Qiqi while Xiao throws in snappy comments and pretends to be bored when really he's enjoying it.
- Having dinner at Wanmin Restaurant with Yanfei and Shenhe to catch up on the latest gossip.
- Testing some new ice cream recipes Xiangling came up with, in the company of Chongyun and Xingqiu.
- Hurrying to help Ganyu and Keqing with their paperwork to hurry back and watch Yun Jin's performance together.
- Spending the day babysitting Teucer, and wasting all of Childe's money.
God, all the lights, the warmth, the solitude, and that bittersweet feeling whenever having to leave it's beautifully painful.
Thank you for rekindling the spark inside of me for this lovely place. I've been playing the game pretty mindlessly for some time now, but after listening to this and reading your comment, I was able to fall in love with Liyue all over again. May the archons guide you on your path!

As a new Genshin Impact player, a musician and a Chinese, there are no words to put how I feel. Beautiful soundtracks that touched the deepest part of my heart and my inner Chinese
I feel you, I'm also a musician and although I don't live in China, I'm directly descended from China and nearly all the traditions in my family are Chinese traditions. It really touched me and my inner Chinese.
As an overseas Chinese myself and being in an symphonic band before, Genshin is the first open world game I ever connected with. I totally understand how you feel. It's like a comfort game and second home all at once.
As a non-Chinese player, I feel touched by this music and its overflowing nostalgia. For me, Liyue is like my home where I can go when I feel lonely, sad, glad, or homesick. I will never forget the first time I came to Liyue and all these feelings.
I like how some of the songs use the same tune/melody. Like, when you're climbing mountains you suddenly feel a wave of nostalgia because something about the music sounds "familiar."

Hey, I don't really find it this scary! It's more like a mysterious atmosphere, with strange creatures. I love listening it when I'm in the mountains : the bass sounds are like the rocks vibrating, with the echoes of mysterious voices, under the moonlight. I also feel the great age of these places, which have seen so many unknown stories that I can hardly imagine...

I play Genshin because it reminds me of my hometown, it's all taken down now and replaced by apartments, schools, financial buildings. I want to return to 2013 again, and convince my mom that moving to Canada was a bad idea. I want to stop being so depressed and enjoy the light breeze from the farm fields. I want to spend more time with my grandpa when he's working in the fields. I want to play with my friends and forget about homework. I want to walk around the neighborhoods and hear the adults playing mahjong while drinking fine wine and laughing like children. I want to see the parents and friends that once lived in the neighborhoods again. No matter where they are, I just want to reunite with them and tell them that I'm so glad to see them again.

I'm listening to these songs right now because i really feel bad leaving the game after the fontaine update, i couldn't keep playing anymore because my device can't update the game anymore because im broke lol, I probably gonna have to take a break for a long time, perhaps a year or two until i can buy myself a new device for an upgrade. man. i missed playing genshin. My brother was the one who recommended me to play it since he's a big fan of it and he wanted us to play it as well, (i remember I started to play genshin since January 17, 2021) I tried to play it if it really was good until I understood why. Genshin was a real masterpiece, I couldn't explain how amazing it is, and it was the kind of game that I wished to play and I couldn't believe that it finally existed. Like everytime I play it, I feel like I went into a different world and it's like I lived my life in there and with that, I got addicted. In that time, I used to be very eager and active playing it but when 2022 came, school started, I began to get even more busy because our school always give us activities and with that, I got no time playing it, not even in weekends, until I got used to it of not playing genshin in a day. I used to be like 'I shouldn't miss the daily quests of genshin' because I got addicted to it but now, it's all different. That was a year ago I think, I was forced to stop playing it when sumeru came out, though I did my best to find a way that I have the opportunity to play it, and yes I did, I was happy for that and it was like I'm back from my old self, though as the days went by, I got busy again, a few days went by and I graduated, I was happy that I could finally play genshin with no school stuffs again, and that no one will bother me again or stand in my way, I was happy yet when I started to play it after my graduation, I felt like I wasn't enjoyed playing it, though I wanted to deny the fact that I got bored of genshin just because I got used without it so I forced myself to play more often. But no matter how much I forced myself to get addicted to it again, I just felt empty. Like I couldn't feel that feeling anymore just like before. I was confused of myself that I kept questioning myself of why should I get bored of genshin when it's actually the only game that I really got attached with so much until I decided to not play it if I really don't want to play it again. I was sad because of how did it turn out this way, why did this happen and all, but my final decision in that time was that I will quit playing genshin, though I will never forget the moments that I shared with it. Though I decided to play it again since I missed genshin in that time (it was alhaitham's banner i forgot what version that is) but then I quitted again. I kept regretting of not playing it but at the same time, I don't want to play it because I lacked interest to it because of school, so I quitted again but after I kept missing the days not playing genshin, the storage of genshin kept rising up because of the updates until my brother's computer couldn't handle it anymore, no matter how hard I try to delete the things to play genshin, it will never let me play again. It was the biggest regret that I had in my life, but at the same time, I was okay with it, I couldn't understand myself and because of it and I was confused, my brother even told me that I couldn't play genshin anymore unless I could get a new phone that is playable for genshin but bro I'm broke af so I was depressed and I was in denial in that time. Yet a few months later, my sister had a new phone that she could download genshin (i forgot to tell you this but we only have one computer, it's my brother's and since he went out for work, I took care of it and I couldn't download genshin in my phone because the storage is just too much, also my sister's, and my parents' phone couldn't handle it in that time. Only my brother had a phone that could handle genshin with the highest quality bc he could afford a phone for gaming but since he's out, I couldn't play his phone so it's hard for me to play it hecause I could only play genshin with just one computer and sometimes here in our country mostly go black out and the pc would go dead so yeah kinda tough) and after my sister got a new phone that could handle genshin well, I asked her if I could play, she mostly say no because it's her's and she doesn't want me to, yet I kept forcing her if I could play until she finally let me. I was happy and I immediately went to the wishing banner and pulled because I had my savings in there, so I clicked the 10 pulls and bam I got neuvillette (is this how you spell it. I forgot how it's spelled but anyways) I was happy yet my sis snatched it out because she needs it and then I went sad again. That was my last play with genshin and I hope I could play it again if I could find a way. A few months later, my brother finally came home and I told him that I couldn't play his computer anymore. He understood why and just accepted it because it was the truth. Without genshin, my life has been empty since I got no entertainment anymore. I was getting bored most of my life without it and I told my parents about it when we were having lunch, suddenly my mother told me that my brother told her that he noticed that I'm even more serious right now than who I was back then, he told her that I was a happy kind of person but now I'm different, he told my mother that he'll try his best to find a way that I could play it again with his computer because he wanted to make me smile as I was before, I oftenly smile before because it was a habit and it was my real expression. He told my mother that he wanted to bring my smile again with his computer and he hopes that he could find a way that I could have an entertainment here in our home so I'll smile again before he'll go again for his job, and after hearing that from my mother, I got emotional because I never thought he would felt that way, my mother also agreed because she noticed that I mostly do the X eyebrow, I just told her it was my normal expression and my sister also agreed that I mostly get irritate for no reason, and I just laughed a bit. I finished my meal fastly in that time and cried in my bathroom, though it was just a few tears. I wanted to play genshin again so much and I hope I could find a way for it. I will never forget zhongli's phrase that goes like “I have no regrets in meeting you, friend. Should the day ever come that we are not together, you will continue to shine like Gold in my memories.” it's absolutely the thing that I wanted to tell genshin because this is how I wanted to express how much I love genshin, I still even love it until now.

This soundtrack is by far the best of anything in 2020. The feeling of climbing the mountain as any of the themes from Quingyun Peak begin to play... it's beautiful. This has definitely tied for my favorite video game soundtrack of all time.

I can never express how much pain (in a positive-ish way) and comfort this game gives me. I sometimes just open Genshin to listen to the music and look at the damn beautiful scenery, I once cried while playing Genshin tbh, everything around me looked peaceful, warm and well how do I describe it.. it felt like everything was hugging me, and I felt warm.

The entire set for Jueyun Karst is a stunner. So atmospheric and breath taking that it adds to the immersion and you forget about your surroundings and playing a game. I took a long, long time to climb and make my way to the Adepti in the peaks because I kept stopping to take in the view and walking instead of running. The time of day also matched when you would hike so it added to it.
