I think it would be 100 times better if you recoded from a CRT screen. It's almost pointless to record direct digital footage like this because it's not what the game looked like.
@@jd3d_cgi firstly I don't have a CRT screen (and emulated effects aren't exactly the same); secondly I do a pixel compare, which shows precisely how the games compare (check Out Run for a good example) which a CRT screen would hide some of the differences in clarity.
@@jd3d_cgi that would mean recording with an actual camera, presumably defeating flicker from the screen, etc. I realise pixels aren't how things looked back then (as I lived through CRTs!) but I like the clean crispness of them, rather than the smoothing effect that Windows can apply.
@@VirtuaIceMan Yes, it would mean making an investment. Despite games being made to work with CRT screens, and there being numerous effects that only make sense with CRT screens - if you still prefer it digitally, then there's not much else I can say. 🤷
@@jd3d_cgi there's one coming up that really needs a CRT, but I'm planning to cover games right up to modern day and everything's flat screen now. But I will be sticking with pixels as a lot of the ports (Yakuza games for instance) can show pixels too (for the 80s games)... though plenty use a somewhat naff fake filter (Model 2/3)
nice video ^^ good audio level and quality XP
didn´t know the OST was this good Oo
Used to play this game on SEGA Genesis a lot with my brother. Love the music.
FinalBurn Neo also has System 24 support! It might be worth looking into as an alternative to MAME for this hardware

@@VirtuaIceMan Reckon if you invested in a CRT and some decent capturing, it might be worth it. It really matters.
