    Pilots making a cup of tea:
    Kettle check, it's full, switch on. Tea bag is looking good, in the cup. All good. Quick milk check, sniff, smells fine. Add hot water, stir 5Gs. Wife has entered, asks am I talking to my tea again. Affirmed. Cleared for cuppa.

      Hmmm, sorry to be a party pooper, but the United States refused Britain help in two world wars until it had no other option. And it's recently been revealed that the USA seriously discussed aiding Argentina in the Falklands War because an Argentine victory would be "more beneficial to the United States". The USA as an ally is something that should be left to Hollywood and teenagers on Facebook.

      @@TonyEnglandUK Where is this post that says that it has been revealed that they were discussing aiding Argentina? Argentina had a crippled economy and technically still does, that's why they tried to take back the Falklands in the first place. Argentina had nothing to offer, nothing financially, stock wise or military wise

      Would not be able to travel at top speed in low altitudes even at full power. If i'm correct no plane has ever been able to exceed the 1000mph barrier below 900m/near sea level due to air density/pressure. Top speeds are always achieved at height. 30,000-40,000+ feet

      The commentary was completed after the sortie and inserted into the video's audio.
      This is a known technique.

    Neat video. It really brings into focus exactly how much work is required to operate such a high performance machine. Checking fuel....checking weather....checking ALTITUDE!....all while keeping a watchful eye on your partner's airplane as well as your own. A lot can go wrong when you're traveling at a few hundred miles per hour at less than a thousand feet above the ground.

    Love how you can see the curverture of the earth. Amazing.

    • @sailorman8668
      @sailorman8668 4 роки тому

      The wide-angle lens used in the camera was responsible for the 'curvature' seen in the footage.
      From this height, the earth's curvature is not discernable.

    The USAF fly in Britain to practice low level flying in F 15's, if you are on the side of a hill and hear a fighter coming, you look towards the sound and down into the valley to see a Tornado or Typhoon but up at the sky to see an F 15 as they come past the Tornado and Typhoon are below you, the F 15 above.

      Which is why we’re teaching our American brothers and sisters like we did in WW2 with the bombing raids.
      My parents went to the US a few years ago and they were shown a great deal of respect by the American people they met simply because of their British accents.. Because of that I have a lot of respect in return for the American people (not the politicians I might add, the people!)

      I have been to the US many times and most of the people are polite and friendly. The only problem seems to be the lack of education especially by many of the people making comments on You Tube videos.
