Robert, thank you for sharing your videos. Your content and presentation are great and very inviting to watch. Your joy and passion for fly fishing come through in your videos and remind us why we go fly fishing . Thank you also for sharing your beautiful Sweden landscapes and fisheries; I hope to visit soon and get a chance to fly fish these amazing fisheries with you one time. Good luck with all your endeavors. Dan
Your videos, and the way you present them are informative and inspiring to a beginning fly fisherman like me 🙏🏼 Could you share some information about the clothing you wear in these freezing conditions? Some neoprene waders maybe? Have you ever done a video about flyfishing clothing? Cheers, Manuel
Another great video Robert! Really fun to see Simon on screen too, he is a great fisherman and a humble human being! Would love to see him more during your adventures!
2c water temp isnt that much to worry about, it depends more on how the bottom is where you are fishing. If there is a deeper part fairly close to the shore the fish will stay there most of the time taking short trips in the shallow colder water to feed. So the right spot at the right time is more or less everything since the seatrout will eat here in Norway when the fjords freeze and we do icefishing and the water is def not warm....
I am learning so much from your videos)) I need to try 2 flies also, just don't have microrings. Also, you have a nice net. I just bought a snowbee, but it is only 28cm deep ... You use Nymphmaniac, or Meri? And how do you hang it?))
Superb day once again! Why do you like the Vibe 85? Been using lines with 10 meter heads for sea trout, specially like the SA Seatrout Volantis, maybe should give the Vibe a go though, been hearing it is a super durable line.
Hi Robert. How long do you think you are casting? I’m new to flyfishing at sea. I think I can cast around 25 meters wich dosen’t seems very efficient at the sea. Not covering a lot of water. What are your thoughts about casting distance? And how long are you casting your flies? Greetings from Denmark😊
Before I used to stretch every cast as long as I can. Upwards 27-32 meters. That is very long for a fly cast. Now I almost never do it. I catch more fish in the 15-23 meter span. In this video I explain why: ua-cam.com/video/z1f0y1xG688/v-deo.html

It is a joy to watch you, at one with nature, catching fish and releasing them so sympatheticly!!
Glad you like it!
Talk about finishing with a bang, great video as usual Robert, can't wait for your next upload and good to see you two out together
Fantastiskt!
Det ser ut som om ni inte bryr er om att kasta speciellt långt, intressant.
Jag har en video om mina reflektioner angående det. “The more I understand sea trout fishing, the shorter I cast”

Hey Robert !
Awesome content as always ! Have a question .. Are you ever using 8# on the coast ?
Anders
Quality of the cork that they put currently to the Vision rods is no comment...

It is a line that is easy to cast and of some reason I catch a lot of sea trout with this bright yellow line 🤷♂️
Petri Heil Robert, schönes Video. 👍👍👍
Danke
Which leader do you use?
Super Video:)
I show it here: ua-cam.com/video/7aMNvuvfpdg/v-deo.html

Grym video.
Jag får sik som bifångst. Ofta tidig morgon eller skymning. Laxen och Havsöringens inverkan på spiggbeståndet kan jag inte svara på.
Hur många sekundmeter blåser det när du fiskade/hur många sekundmeter är lagom.

coollll , what is your biggest sea trout on Gotland from shore?
75 cm ua-cam.com/video/UpKWVTLJE2w/v-deo.html
Why you dont use XO line anylonger? Is vibe 85+ is better choice?
Thanks a lot. 👍
XO line was an excellent distance casting line. Now discontinued. I still have one but I don't try to cast that far anymore.
