Sound Designer Problems: ASMR

DISCLAIMER: I have NOTHING against ASMR, nor do I have anything against the ASMR artist shown in this video! As a Sound Designer it is literally my job to remove mouth-noises and such from Voice-Over's for TV, Radio and the Internet. For that reason it is hard for me to enjoy ASMR in the same way as some other people do. This whole video is meant to be a joke and a wink towards the audio/voice-over community :) Please don't take it too serious, and if you are someone who does enjoy ASMR.. then I'm happy for you, and keep living your life like you are! :)

It would be nice if the ASMR community started learning how to edit the sound in their videos to be more pleasant. A lot of people make ASMR with really bad equipment too.

I'll be the first to admit that I've got no idea whether or not "bad" and harsh sounding ASMR is suppose to be extra "triggering", but it sure can't be good for your hearing, right? I totally agree that some video's could definately use some sort of post-work, even if it's just to get the hard edges off.

Actually made it better.. In my opinion those ASMR videos are just annoying
