I don’t know if this is just me but I never really felt like having ADHD like I do was such a big deal that people are afraid to tell others about. It’s relatively common, and I guess I’ve never really thought of myself as being that different from other people but apparently some of the things I do are not something others without ADHD do.
It’s because there are different neurotypes and that’s why autism/ ADHD is considered neurodivergent and the others are neurotypical. This may not be a good comparison since I’m comparing brains but it’s like green/ blue or brown eyes. There’s different types, it’s the same with ADHD, Autism and just a neurotypical brain. And that’s why a lot of these are so common.
@@donotreadmyprofile9373 I don’t know what you meant by almost, but if you mean everyone is a “ bit ADHD” that’s not true, it’s just a common issue. And it’s a spectrum. It’s just lower dopamine and not to mention it wasn’t diagnosed as much before because back then people weren’t as willing to get diagnosed and they were just told they were “ bad kids” and “ stupid” so majority of them self medicated or became dysfunctional adults or adults who have a bit more challenges than others and that’s why it’s a spectrum. But no, not everyone is “ a bit ADHD” or has it. You either have it or you don’t.

so I was diagnosed with adhd in 2009 and I guess I never really cared about it until these weird folks who would praise me for being "different" starting in 2020. and its really annoying when people do that kind of favoriting for those who have disability's. so when I saw this at first I thought " Oh no not more of this senseless praising" Oh boy was I wrong. this was amazing, not over baring or weird, very nice sounding, very charming. this video is really a good video for people like me. and its not some kind of odd adhd awareness video, its just great. I fully recommend. 10/10 amazing video.
As someone with diagnosed ADHD from my childhood, and having went through methylphenidate/ritalin-therapy by the age of 7-11 which kind of slowed my body in terms of overall maturing (body hair, height etc.) I greatly approve of this video, it is also very important to note, that just because someone was diagnosed with it, doesn't mean they actually have it, so just because incompetent teachers aren't/weren't "able" to deal with us, some of us will actually have to suffer with things for the rest of our lifes, instead of being understood and treated accordingly when actually needed.... the world is such a f*cked up place to be, and yet only single individuals such as you Pierre, are willingly to do us such a favor, Thank you, in my, and the name of every other person with ADHD.
Wow, thanks a lot! When I was a kid, I had a very close friend that couldn't adapt to school because of something, that I guess was close to ADHD. Just as you said, teachers didn't know how to deal with him... as well as other people around. He was such a kind kid and now he is a kind adult even with everything he went through. Anyway, I'm happy that my work, especially on video like this one, can be of help to a lot of people. Have a peaceful day or night!

@@solfilium23 Not all drugs designed for mental ilnesses or disorders always work for everyone. That is a big downside of those drugs simply due to how varied our brains are. It's impossible to make a medicine that fits everyone and when trying to affect someone's brain it often can cause side effects. Still ADHD medicine has proven to overwhelmingly help massive amount of people and children over the years so simply because you had an unfortunate reaction to it doesn't mean all of it is bad. Secondly, ADHD is far more often diagnosed less than over-diagnosed. While professionals can make mistakes it's far likely they will diagnose you to not have ADHD when you actually do than vice versa, so if a professional diagnosed you with ADHD it's stupid to then go and question him. Also in a lot of countries it's possible to get a second diagnosis from a seperate psychiatrist.
Thank you for this! Adhd is actually very fascinating if you’d like to learn about it. Many people don’t realize it, but Adhd is actually very similar to autism. The main telltale symptom of Adhd is difficulty focusing attention, but there are actually quite a few different symptoms that affect all of us differently. Here are some examples: 1.) A lot of us have difficulty regulating our emotions. We’re often considered sensitive as children until we learn how to hide our ‘sensitivity’, or learn to better regulate our emotions. Not all of us experience this of course, but it’s common enough that it’s been given a name: Rejection sensitive dysphoria, or RSD. 2.) There are actually three main types of Adhd. The first is Adhd hyperactive type, the second type is Adhd inattentive type, and the third type is a combination of inattentive and hyperactive. 3.) Stimulants are usually used to help regulate the symptoms that come with ADHD. I can’t exactly remember how they do that though. Stimulants actually have a calming effect on the Adhd brain. That’s why coffee makes me sleepy in the morning lol. 4.) While Adhd occurs in both genders at the same frequency, people who are assigned male at birth are much more likely to be diagnosed. This is because people who are assigned male at birth, and people who are assigned female at birth display their symptoms differently. The test for Adhd was designed with people who were assigned male at birth in mind. 5.) While it can be difficult for us to focus, sometimes the opposite can happen, and we focus on something too much. We usually call this hyperfixing. We can hyperfix on a task sometimes to the point we forget to eat or drink. We can also hyperfix on people, tv shows, books, hobbies, games, etc. Depending on what we hyperfix on hyperfixations can last from hours to years. My longest hyperfixation was a comic based on a mobile game. It lasted about 7 years. If you made it this far thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed learning more about Adhd! :)
I have ADHD. Thank you, I did not think that I would meet such an ASMR. It is often not convenient for me to watch other ASMRs, so yours became my salvation
Fun Fact to those with adhd. The reason you keep starting new projects and then just give up when you at the middle point. The reason that happens is because, someone with adhd has less dopamine receptors in their brain than the average person. That means that if you have adhd and you do a project, and another person without adhd does the same project. The person without adhd will get a greater gratification feeling, than someone with adhd would. Thats why you end up giving up on cool projects. Because you think that it might not be good enough, or worth it. But trust me. If you push through, it will be worth it. Edit: Just to clarify. Dont use this information to diagnose yourself. If you feel you do have adhd, then ask someone who is more educated. I don't want anyone to be confused and think that they have adhd.
THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME. whenever im trying to draw smth i give up when im not satisfied with my progress. Or when im learning a new dance, i give up bec im not satisfied w my moves and i get boref after repeating the same steps during the tutorial then i try to learn another dance, or when i cant sit still in my seat bec im always uncomfortable or i feel the urge to constantly stretch my body, or when i cant finish a school written outpur in one go because i cant fucking think straight or when i cant focus my attention on the teacher's discussion bec songs keep on popping off my head. I've always thought that i just need to develop my concentration skills and that its nothing to be worry of. But maybe i do have ADHD....
I really really appreciate that beside moving fast between triggers, the triggers on itself are slow. Too many asmrtists do everything too fast for ADHD video. And it's true I'm easily bored, but damn i want to relax not being overstimulated. So this is perfection, congrats Pierre
I really appreciate that more asmrtists are doing things like this! It's always been hard relaxing with one video, normally I have to jump around multiple vids and jump ahead in whatever I'm watching because my ADHD brain gets agitated and bored with long triggers 😅
@Blu SplatKid ADHD is a disability that can debilitatingly affect every part of your life from school to your ability to adequately take care of yourself to even your relationships and sex life. It's neither a "neat mindset" nor a "curse", it is simply how my brain is built. Just for future reference, talking about it like this really undermines and invalidates the struggles some people with ADHD experience.

I would just like say hi, and bring awareness to my adhd folks who haven't had the privilege to get a diagnosis. Whatever your circumstances are, stay safe ofc, and don't be afraid to live your life with the accommodations you know you need. There isn't something that you're doing wrong and you don't need to be fixed. Im sorry, that even our diagnosis name was made to cater towards a Neurotypical society. Its nice to have something made for us, finally :) I could talk all day about how adhd affects every aspect of a persons life and how adhd presents in people differently for EVERYONE. Anyone can have adhd, girls, adults, literally anyone. My tips for managing adhd is, get to know yourself. Know what makes you excited, frustrated, etc and if we are motivated by dopamine, use that. Create reward systems for yourself. Some days, you just cant "fix" it and thats okay. Your job isnt to fix it. Your job isa to take care of yourself and your needs so please please please, allow your adhd to take up space in the room. Set boundaries, eat that food you wanted, make time for your special interests, and surround yourself in an environment that promote and openly permits your adhd. You deserve to feel in alignment with yourself :) Update: I was professionally diagnosed with adhd and have been taking medication for a few months now! Remember, you know your body. I fought to see a doctor and got the help I new I wanted and needed.
I only read the first sentence my adhd won’t allow me to read the whole thing Bc I will have to concentrate on it and it’ll make my head hurt and stuff

Another ADHD club member, the hardest thing about ASMR is my mind wonders off constantly. Then I start to get really anxious thinking about random negative thoughts. Short triggers seem to keep me keep focus for a little longer, thanks for this!!
I’m not diagnosed with adhd or anything of the sort but I have a terrible attention span of one thing or fixate in something for hours and honestly this was refreshing
Please lets make this a series, also you can do like less triggers but go over them twice or three times throughout the video. This way we can enjoy the triggers we liked more
Dude no matter what the results are don't feel upset, and i know this is cliché but normal is boring. like have you ever seen a cool "normal celeb". all the cool people are weird in their own way. Also wanna say shoutout to this ASMR. this was nice.
I wanted to get tested after I felt myself relate too much to be coincidental with the stories and symptoms of people with both ADHD and Autism. I've already had consultations with a psychiatrist and a therapist and I've been prescribed ADHD meds, and I'm being tested on both of those, as well as PTSD. And there's been some other ideas as to what I have, but those might come later.
Yeah, just means that you have a short attention span, which might be ADHD might not. It could be ADHD because of understimulation, but lots of people just struggle to pay attention. But it’s worth bringing up!
@i NCOGnito X huh? it’s the internet people are going to say things you don’t like and the way the system works typically won’t get what you dislike deleted from the face of the earth, you have a rough day or something?

I don’t know if this is just me but I never really felt like having ADHD like I do was such a big deal that people are afraid to tell others about. It’s relatively common, and I guess I’ve never really thought of myself as being that different from other people but apparently some of the things I do are not something others without ADHD do.
ADHD is much more common than ppl think it’s prob one of the most common mental disabilities (or disorders) whichever you like to call it better
Istg almost everyone have adhd including me. It just depends on how much they have
@@donotreadmyprofile9373 I don’t know what you meant by almost, but if you mean everyone is a “ bit ADHD” that’s not true, it’s just a common issue.
But being diagnosed by a professional does mean you have it...that's kinda what a diagnosis is.
@@jonathanchisholm3319 I don't disagree with you, but ADHD is definitely treatable without pumping your children full of downgraded amphetamines, wouldn't you say?
@@jonathanchisholm3319 professionals make mistakes just like everyone. and anyone who’s been thru diagnosis processes knows that doctors make a lot of mistakes and disagree on a lot of things, diagnosing is a lot more subjective than ppl think

Seriously... are you sure you dont have ADD/ADHD lol, not having any patience can be a symptom lol. There are so many symptoms..
Here are some examples:
1.) A lot of us have difficulty regulating our emotions.

I have the adhds and can relate

You deserve to feel in alignment with yourself :)
Update: I was professionally diagnosed with adhd and have been taking medication for a few months now! Remember, you know your body. I fought to see a doctor and got the help I new I wanted and needed.

Bruh my adhd crippled brain just SMASHED that subscribe button so hard this is magic
this is the first asmr that i did not skip forward at all
Please lets make this a series, also you can do like less triggers but go over them twice or three times throughout the video. This way we can enjoy the triggers we liked more
This is just what I needed, I had no idea so many people also had ADHD
I feel safe here :’)
First time in a while I've gotten major tingles. Currently being tested for ADHD and autism so I think this is another point of evidence, I feel like.
May I ask what made you want to get tested
But it’s worth bringing up!
good for you! i got tested last year, and turns out i have both! I hope the testing helped :)
This is honestly really helpful! I dont have the patience to listen to videos where they do one trigger for ten minutes haha thank you Pierre :)
Then, this should be good for you. I don't know how many sounds I did in this video but... a lot :D Have a peaceful evening!
I literally got tingles without headphones- this is by far the best asmr to listen to right now😭 thank you so much
really love him speaking softly, literally the most relaxing one
He looks like a living jesus. But dude his whisper is sooo soothing
He kinda does WAIT OH MY
@i NCOGnito X huh? it’s the internet people are going to say things you don’t like and the way the system works typically won’t get what you dislike deleted from the face of the earth, you have a rough day or something?
Jesus is very much alive bro :D
@i NCOGnito X But why believe in a make believe thing.
@i NCOGnito X I think you should respect that their Christian 😅 because those words can be hurtful yk what I mean 😅
pierre: doing inaudible whispers
me: oh me like that thoo
my adhd: ey, lets focus at this what he is whispering or think what he is thinking when he was doing this inaudible whispers
Btw i must say this video is amazing, that's what i needed
Your dedication it's another level 🙂
This video is definitely the best one I've ever watched, he knows exactly what ADHD people needs, not some random trigger that making you more nervous when you can't falling into sleep.
i usually don’t like male asmrtists, i usually feel more comfortable with women but this made me feel so safe and happy! my ADD brain says thanks
Same I also found it so awkward with males
Copied
Same! This is the only male asmr person I like :p
same, but in reverse
Try Jojoasmr next he’s legit
Me after listening to this and maybe not having ADHD: Maybe I can’t concentrate
Maybe I am *ADHD* after all.
Same here!

I love this comment thread
as a person who isnt diagnosed with adhd, but my brain moves at a very fast pace, this is perfect
same, im trying to get a diagnosis but stigma round being a female with a mental disorder is just so lovely smh
I'm not even sure if I have adhd but I seriously enjoy this much more than the longer ones, those tend to get me really impatient and slowly start to annoy me so this really helped 😩💖
While I don't have ADHD I prefer this over normal prolonged asmr, keeps it fresh
*I loved that you made this for people with adhd. My son has adhd, and he took very well to this. Thank you!*
I have too, how can i rezolve this problem?
I actually don’t have adhd and I just clicked on this because I was curious, but I actually enjoyed it a lot!
You are lucky
But it doesn’t suck to have ADHD.......
Some peoples adhd is different I am hyperactive and I can’t sit still or focus and mind anxiety is pretty high
This video felt like someone was barely touching the back of my neck to where my shoulders hitched up but it was in a good way idk I’ve watched so many videos like this but they do the same sound for like three minutes and I’m just skipping the whole time to get a new sound but this was so good thank you
ive never seen his videos before but i literally almost cried because hes so pure and as someone with adhd i feel so included
I love when he says "HD brain" it's so nice 😁
Zombie: This is a show im looking forward to. *Proceeds to eat HD brain on TV.*
@Seán N. Worts if you count operating on a different timeframe then yes
I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not-
Can’t believe you got my ADHD ass to watch a 40 minute ASMR video without stoping and enjoy ever damn moment. Respect!
this makes my adhd brain go brrrr- I normally only like the previews cause they have a bunch of triggers at once and they're not too long but then the rest of the video is unbearable so I appriciate this, I've had your adhd videos on loop for hours and I can never get enough! Thank you so much for this, keep up the great work :))
Thank you for this! I’ve always loved short length triggers (I’m ADHD), but I find that a lot of creators end up doing those triggers fast/aggressive as well as short and that’s not satisfying to me. This is perfect! Thank you!
Thank you too! I also felt relaxed while making the entire video, haha. Have a peaceful night! :)
The pencil sharpener was a nice touch. Never thought I’d say I enjoy a sound, but that was just what my brain needed!
I’m not diagnosed with ADHD, but I am 98% sure I have it. This video was amazing, I could actually focus and I got so many tingles. Thank you!
Same, i am pretty sure i have adhd, but i was never diagnosed
@@v-ball1758 yeah. I’ve told my mom about it but she said “I’ve worked with lots of kids w ADHD, and I’ve never thought you’ve had it.” I was thinking to myself “I’m not like other kids!!”
@@akrodr6 with my mom, i told her that i might have adhd, but she said "do u want to take pills?!"... when i told her "yes, only if it helps" she still said "NO"
@@v-ball1758 oof I hope you eventually find help
@SSJNANRYM 69 what’s odd?
I love how he cares for everyone. With the broken headphones video, the ADHD brain ASMR videos ect! He's awesome. I'm new, and I'm already a fan.* +1 sub *
I’m not diagnosed with adhd but we have recently found out that I do and right before that I learned that these type videos are a lot better for me, that’s why I usually only get tingles at the previews, and why I usually just X out of the video. So thank you SO SO SO much for taking this into hand! Ly!
*His voice is truly made for asmr. . The second my brain hears his voice it immediately begins to relax. It’s like magic* 🪄
It’s too easy to find you at this point
Hey! I don’t have “ADHD” but I personally like the short length triggers, However I’m from france and I study Arabic language, My teacher is shouting all the time and somehow I’m getting TINGLES!! Weird yeah? I know
You should consider making a arabic asmr video trust there’s a-lot of arabic words that just tingly and beautiful to hear.
Thank you!
Sus
,,, im certain that Arabic asmr would be beautiful and i dont wanna detract from that but.... why adhd in quotes tho....

I have ADHD and this definitely hits the spot
