Ngl, you've been my source of inspiration when it comes to getting some cinematic shots in my vlogs ! Still trying to improve myself doin it ! Thank you for the inspiration Jed !
Thanks so much for making this vid!!! Learnt quite new things from this. As a beginner, who might be considering the idea of trying to start an youtube channel soon..this video sure is going to come in handy nd m going to rewatch it again!!!
This video is a gem, I learned a lot and since I really love your videos this tips are very useful for us to kinda create like you do. It motivated me to start filming something. Thank you Jed really love your videos!❤
If you’re coming to Singapore, please announce earlier so I can book a flight from Malaysia, and please bring some of your merch over. I’d love to buy the shirt but the shipping fee to my country is killing me :(
I wanna start vlogging too, but my problem is I get hesitant because I think why would ppl want to watch me or listen to me talk about a topic, also for vlogging do you just pick a topic and just film your day and talk about the topic? or do you film b roll in conjunction with your topic ?
Yoo I just saw your ad for Grammarly! I must critique and say that you kinda maxed out your gain in the audio for a moment and made it a little uncomfortable to listen too.
I’ve never seen a guy doing cinematography videos, banger UA-cam videos and coding at the same time
You’re a Gem
The car at 6:07 tripped me out, where tf is the driver 💀
bro i was about to say the same thing tf is the driver at
i just realized it too
I thought about that as well! 😅
we need your LUTs bro!!
what are luts
think of it as an IG filter, but for videos @@chickenNudleSoup
@@chickenNudleSoup basically an easy slap on filter that adjusts your LOG profile to make it look nicer
Was gonna say I LOVE your color grading!! Can’t believe you just pop a LUT on normally. Absolutely love them 🫡🫡
I'm getting the motivation to buy my own camera and record cinematic videos. Love your work, keep on grinding!
damn dumping the footage into the timeline after each shoot is a good tip, im gonna have to try that sometime
i use the same workflow! ideally i dump everything to my timeline at the end of the day - makes it easier for me to check what footage i need more of!
Its crazy to think back to when you had 80k subscribers talking about merch and now its a reality, keep it up man!
W moneysigneric feature
I like the workflow you shared. I will try ythat next time.
Loved the breakdown of your process and how you create your masterpieces on this platform man.
Rule of Thirds is a dope brand name btw 🔥 lol
If you had a full course on filming vlogs cinematically, I'd buy it !
this video was great and was so informative!! But what really got me was the moneysigneric cameo!! crazy crossover right there lol
I’d love a video on your style of editing and how you do it
Went to barnes & noble today and read like 40 pages of "Steal Like an Artist" because of this video lol

hi jedcal
, i would like to do video editing for your content , looking forward to hear from you soon
Sup Jed, love your vids bro. Your cinematics always go hard so super glad to see this video. Did you buy your LUTs or build your own?
i've been using these paid luts since i switched to sony. called phantom luts i think
@@jedcal Aight sweet thanks bro. Love the vids, keep cracking them out.
Bro cuts his own hair???? Haha

Restocking soon 🙌
What video exactly did you use the canon rebel t3i?
Which sling do you use for your camera?
place on 5:23?
@jedcal do you use 1/2 or 1/4 black pro-mist filter?
1/4
What LUT do you use?
Clicked cuz u looked cute in the thumbnail. Have no interest in cinematography lol
Can I get a free tee-shirt ? 🫣 2:40
