    Another entertaining video. Can't wait for the next one. Definitely an "A" for effort on tracking him. If I was going out there alone like you do I'd bring a rechargeable air pump and a jump box.

    set your first pin for 20 and start practicing those close shot out of a tree. You could be dropping your bow arm when you shoot make sure you follow through.

    When making that shot you have to aim right below the spine that way the ribs don't deflect your arrow straight down

    After reviewing your footage, I'm almost 100% positive that the Buck you shot was a LOT bigger than the one you later tried to get stopped. But I can see how they might have been confused with one another, both are Toads.

    I have had bad luck hitting deer good by aiming behind the shoulder. I started aiming directly center of the shoulder. That is the top of a deers heart it is surrounded by lungs. You can hit 3 inches low of center and still get heart if you hit 2 inches high of center you still get lungs but anything center or low you get heart and double lungs. Just seems more simple and greater odds of killing them to me. Just line up with the front leg( the slender boney part and center up and down of the shoulder. Just a suggestion. I love your drive for deer hunting!!!!

    I'd be more worried about practicing and making a good shot than trying to hurry and get to another state and wounding their deer too that is with all due respect friend the past 2 days I've been watching your videos and wow you need to slow down man you'd forget your head if it wasn't attached to your body I hope it gets better for you

      You right. I’ve been working on it all off season. Changing the way I do some of my set ups and started seeing one of the best archery coaches in the world and learning better shooting as well as a new process of shooting to help manage pressure better. Also practicing an average of 2-3 hours a day since deer season ended

    Only watched 2 of his videos and in both he just wounds deer because of bad shots. You really need to shoot a better setup and study deer anatomy a little more because the deer dont deserve the terrible shot placement.

      Have started seeing an archery coach and shot my bow 2-3 hours a day since last season to make sure it doesn’t continue happening like that

    • @colemartin9469
      @colemartin9469 Рік тому

      @@HaveBowWillTravel I have been there a few times, work on your target panic as well. Best shot placement is aim at off side shoulder about 4-5 inches above where white and brown meet. If you are able to hit in there almost always lung/heart. I liver hit 2 bucks when I was younger from being scared of hitting the shoulder. Last 5 kills with my bow have been heart shots.

      There’s definitely a huge difference in dumping a pile of corn and sitting over it or hunting natural food sources like acorn trees or working your land and putting in a food plot with your time,money and sweat. Don’t be stupid. Anyone can dump corn out in the middle of nowhere and see deer, try scouting and putting in the work and find there trails, bedding and food sources to hunt them, or in some states dump a pile of corn and kill a deer, big difference
