Oh you don’t need a 4WD bike just some good tires. ! I carried so many big deer out with my Big Red 3 wheeler with no problems when I put some good tires on it.
I have left my bow at where I parked a couple of times over years mostly because I put it down to take tree stand off my back and then forgot it but always there when I come back for it and congratulations on the nice buck very good video
In my experience if it’s what the deer are used to it won’t bother them. If they are used to the tractor, dogs barking, truck pulling out of the driveway every day at 740 they won’t pay any attention.
Perseverance pays off with a nice buck. I can only imagine the things Mr Crabtree has seen in his years of Ohio deer hunting. I'll bet there are some great stories.
Yes sir he’s got some great stories and has kept a journal for like 40 years. He has got the dates of the stages of the rut figured out in that area to a T
Man I love your vids brother been a sub for a long time you have one of the most realistic hunting shows on UA-cam. That being said I don’t wanna watch you die man get yourself a safety harness before you climb way up in that tree I know I guy younger than you that broke his back when the bottom slid out from under him in his climber. Please before you wish you did...
I love your videos they keep getting better.you should probably find you a four wheel drive four wheeler seems like that one there don't never want to pull you up the hills.well going to watch another one of your videos
Season just started for me in one managment area I hunt on Monday i knock off early on Friday to see if I can't bust one and someone stole my climber stand pretty upsetting weekend
Nice deer You earned him. There were some nice deer in that area. If I can give you a little advice ! You don’t want to use all them calls when the deer are on you ! They know there’s no deer that close making calls ! You called at every deer you put your eyes on as close as 30 yards ! It’s a good thing that you dropped that bleat call or you probably wouldn’t have gotten that shot. Blind calling with one bleat every hour and a good grunt every 30 minutes is all you need ! When the hear it they will come looking. You never hear a deer bleat two three four times at once A real light grunt and once he’s out of sight a heavier grunt. As much buck sign and deer activity you didn’t need to use any calls !! When you see a doe running her fawn off means she’s really close to being in estrus. They always run there fawns off before they breed ! You were in the right place just a little silence and patience you can kill a good deer in there ! There’s a big one in there ! Congratulations !!!! 👍🦌🦌 stay safe and thank the land owner and most of all thank our Lord for giving us the opportunity to to do what we love to do ! Good stuff man keep working HARD and you will get your boomer ! 👍👍👍🦌🦌❤️👍
The first ones I called to were in that thick creek bottom and couldn’t see far. I was just trying to stop the big 6 point, I wasn’t calling him in. Notice that I let the 8 point walk over the hill out of sight before calling

@@paulaltman6176 yep my uncles best friend John fell out of a treestand 15 years ago. He was recovering from a car accident at the time so the fall ultimately paralyzed him. They didn't find him until 2 days later because he didn't tell anyone where he was hunting. My uncle scott has never used a tree stand to get deer. All his doe and buck kills including his 150inch pope and younger were killed Still Hunting from the ground with his Herters recurve. He believes stands are dangerous. I saw a treestand just the other day that was hung in a dead tree! Yeah that tree has been there forever and is massive but big no no. lol. Wouldn't want to be strapped into that thing when she goes! The stand was on the SE side of the tree too so if that prevailing wind tipped that tree. That hunter would quite literally get pancaked.
Have you had pretty good luck with the can? Apparently you have... I’ve seen you use it multiple times. I’ve gotten a few small bucks to come in to it over the years but never anything of size
@@HaveBowWillTravel i looked at some of their's on line but just couldn't pull the trigger. I'm like you I live in GA and kinda like to touch and feel a product first.Great content. Keep it up !
What part of the bluegrass? I’m on Warren/Butler co line. Nice bruisers around here, last year I was after 2 monsters. Unfortunately my neighbor got the drop tine (190). The other pig is still out here as far as I know. Can’t imagine what he looks like now, can’t even get a picture of him this year. Hopefully he’s spreading genes. My good buddy John Doan from Barren Co killed the biggest buck with a bow last year you should be able to find a picture easily. Absolute monster. Congrats on your harvest, stay after it, they are out here! 🤙🏻
Was wondering,we can't bait public land and we get a fine for not carrying a pen to fill out your tag and we can't cut branches on state land! Just a reminder for ya,looking out for ya! I know a guy that got 124$ fine for no pen! Stay safe and have a good one! We love your videos!!
Loads of people would have went home during high wind and rain. You stuck it out and got it done. Congratulations bro
Thanks!

It’s called prairie creek or something like that. It’s alright. Not quite waterproof and a little loud. But it’s nice for the money

What are some tips when asking for permission? I'm always scared to ask because I'm Asian, and I'll end up knocking on some racist persons door.
Just be polite, dress nicely, and offer to trade some kind of work. Make sure you make it clear that you will be Bowhunting. That always helps
