    I have a question if anyone can answer I would really appreciate it. When he did the first example 6x2+13x-5 and he was in the process of factoring it, he wrote it as 6x2-2x+15x-5. That is the right way to do it but why can't you write it the other way? Like as 6x2+15-2x-5. I wrote it this way and solved and it didn't work. Is this a rule in math or factoring that I missed? please help.

    • @XDD77ya
      @XDD77ya 11 місяців тому +1

      i might be late considering you wrote this 7 months ago, but to answer your question; no, there isn't an exact rule abt it, but in some cases you have to organize the factors in a way that you could group them, so if u said 6x2 + 15x-2x-5, you can't get a common factor or GCF to divide into 6 and 15 or 2 and 5, so u have to switch the -2 and 15, if that makes sense, like u kinda just have to look at what u can divide/group to get ur factors

    • @Sofia-ssn
