The problem with it being a ground attacker as well, is at top tier having a plane this slow with things like the pantsir sitting around makes you such an easy target.
Before the addition of the pantsir, you could in theory climb above the radar and drop walleyes or your mavericks but that's very difficult right now.
The F-16 can carry 6 mavericks as well, and so can the F-5E etc which are much better platforms due to their speed over the A7.
Maybe it will move down but looks like it's doa for the most part

I think I'm still going to try and get this plane in the hopes of it being pushed down a BR or two, because there is a huge backlash at the moment so I don't know how Gaijin would ignore everything although I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Yeah, my bet is that it's gonna fall to 10.7 or 10.3 by the next patch. 11.0 is just absurd for it, especially considering it's subsonic, though it can survive being supersonic.
I'm still gonna grind for it because it's an event plane, and I like planes.

I actually really enjoy these reviews and playstyle. Some days I just want to ground pound in Air RB while I watch a something on the second monitor. Seeing how you approach that is enjoyable, even if its not a 70 kill game with most OP plane.
The missile.... There is no time for the missile guidance system to even explain.
idk why, but i got so emotional at last few minutes of the video, especially the music, feels like life quotes.
Than I'm the few exception. When I fly a top attacker (A4, Su-25, Mig-27, A-10, Su-17) I fly towards the side of the map, on low alt. to be harder to spot, and come back with a big turn (unless its one of those XL maps) for the ground targets, and bases.
Yes; this means if one of the teams die within 3 minutes it "game over" for me too, without doing anything, unless its my zombie team who died, than I drop everything, and RTB. If the enemy uses a "blind hunt" and I'm still too far, I just crash to insult them; If I have R-60Ms or 9Ls I try a head-on, but I never give anyone a "free kill", even if i have to "pancake" the plane.

Good content.
The one information you are missing is that attackers have a different spawn pool to fighters in ground RB.
That means I can spawn my F-4E/F-16A, get some kills and if I die, I jump into my attacker without having to pay double the spawn cost.
In other words, if this A-7K has better climb rate than 7D, it is worth it for ground pounding in ground RB as a pair with F-4/F16.
Yes, you can always bring Thunderchief, but that one doesn't have any smart munition.

It’s an antimech and thunderer earner easy for completing those special Wagers. But it is amazing in SIM at 10.0. Once we get Gripen and other planes I’m pretty sure the F-16’s, f-14 the mig 29 and probably the Mirage 2k along with the Kurnass 2k will go up with the BR spread. Allowing it to be better for Air battles.
Its basically a medium bomber. Just like with the Tornados, Gaijin doesn't model/implement the advantage the back seater WSO would give. Should make it where you drive the plane and point out (all) the targets and they do the actual drops and they should get a bonus in situational awareness and CM and ECM against AAMs and SAMs, since you've supposed to have another set of eyeballs. Won't make it a better dogfighter, but, see first sentence.

This guy manages to always puts this perspective out there how bad I am at this game, "this vehicle is bad" proceeds to ace in 1 minute, me flying a good vehicle struggling for 3 kills in a whole game but most of the time being shot down by a sparrow no matter how early or late I get into a fight even if I chaf before he shoots the missle and notch it

This plane is just the clear example of judging a fish for its ability to climb a tree. Its an amazing ground attacker but is forced to go on the 5 minutes theam death matchs that gaijin is imposing on us. I wish air RB was like air sim.

I think this could be a good ground pounder in Sim. At the end of the day it's mean to be a strike fighter, not an air superiority or interceptor so I'm not surprised it's garbage in air RB.

Hi there!, I would recommend ditching the controller and using a key board and mouse. Xbox supports it and you're gonna be able to do a lot more with a keyboard and mouse then a controller and that's what all the good console players use

tbh when i compare it to some other nations top ground attackers it doesnt seem THAT bad. it has a gun without carrying gunpods, can carry defensive missiles while still carrying a ground attack loadout, and has flares without adding a massive flare pod. not to mention it can carry more than 2 AGMs at the same time with a BR thats barely higher. the only issue is that the barely higher BR puts it into the 12.0 black hole (and for ground rb its fine, american players are just spoiled with god tier ground attackers, I use unguided rockets at top tier for ground attack, im sure you can figure it out)
