Storing and tapping determination is an interesting proposition. Like "I meant to store some determination today but then I gave up" feels like it would be common.
I think that constant should go to the top of A tier, I think that it is mostly bias that makes it seem better than it is because we have seen a main character use it to great effect
Another note about Trailblazer, Electrum shows where you will be after a few seconds have passed (usually about 7), so if you can go faster it will show you further dow the line - which could be a good or bad thimg depending on how well you can keep track of your shadows, but it is something to be wary of. And how come Hotshot isn't higher? You can probably rapidly heat up metals and then send them flying at your foes, which would distract them with the pain.
I think the greatest utility for Hotshots would be being able to tap warmth while jumping at high altitudes. From the way we've seen Sazed utilize feruchemical brass it doesn't seem like it can be used to transfer heat from the body to other objects, otherwise he could've used it in combat.
Yeah, body heat seems like something that could easily backfire if you drew too much at once. Like you might literally cook yourself rather than any actual benefit for combat purposes.
F-Duralumin doesn't automatically allow you to speak foreign languages. It only works in an unkeyed metalmind. As you tap connection, it can't use your connection, because it isn't keyed to you, so it used the lands connection instead.
See, that's what I thought as well, but after mentioning that in a previous video I had a lot of people telling me that was wrong lol. I was basing it off of how the medallions work, which in BoM it says they use blank connection (I'm unsure if blank connection is the same as unkeyed connection.) I feel like there could be a whole video dedicated to this topic lol there are definitely opposing view points on it.
Wait wait wait, WAIT! Why haven't I seen somebody talking about the twinborn compounder of duralumin? I mean about the glitch, kind of, that if *you store connection and then burn duralumin and then burn the metal mind* , wouldn't that give even more connection than a "normal" compounder? Like if compounders get the attribute tenfold then burning duralumin and then the metalmind (that is just other allomantic metal) would give the attribute like x20 or x30 ... thinking about this now... the lord ruler was truly like a god on the final empire, I thought it was an exaggeration.
Why don't you ever use the term "synergy". Sometimes you have really good powers separately but when you combine them they dont synergize. You can also have two lower rated powers that when combined synergize especially well. I think you should have a score for the powers alone and score for the synergy too.
I just figured storing allomantic ability in a nicrosil mind would allow one to tap into that ability in lieu of or in tandom with burning its associated metal.
Doesn’t work like that, gives you the ability to use it, or else the unsealed metal minds for iron would make everyone really heavy rather than giving them the ability to store weight
I don't think I agree with Feruchemical Nicrosil only allowing to store your ability to use a type of Investiture. Hemalurgy is already capable of taking invested arts and granting them to someone else. I think the implication for Feruchemical Nicrosil is that it can be used to create "Investiture batteries". If anything I'd imagine that granting the ability to use the Investiture could be a byproduct of the metalmind being unkeyed. If that is the case, Feruchemical Nicrosil could pair well with almost any Allomantic ability, because you could burn your metal and store the enhancing Investiture for later use. Imagine burning Pewter but, instead of increasing your physical abilities right away, you store that Investiture in a Nicrosilmind. Then, if you don't have any Pewter on hand, you can tap your Nicrosilmind for the same effect.
@@Kestrel990 true, but we know that it gives the person tapping access to an ability, not an investiture battery. See the bands of mourning or the unsealed ironminds
@@dominicpizano887 I'm fairly certain that unsealed metalminds allow you to tap any attribute already strored within them, so I'm not sure what you're getting at. Do the Bands of Mourning not also already contain a massive Feruchemical Charge for every Feruchemical attribute, of which the wielder can draw upon or add to? Unsealed metalminds give you the ability to tap and store an attribute that you normally wouldn't be able to, as well as being usable as a storage device for those attributes. So an unsealed Nicrosilmind would give you the ability to store Investiture, as well as hold Investiture inside it. I personally think it does both, but until we learn more about it from Brandon himself, we won't know for sure. It's too undifined right now (plus Brandon could easily retcon it as past characters not understanding how it worked).

Can an Allomancer sooth his own emotions? Imagine soothing your own depression as you store your determination?
Is depression something you can soothe? I feel like depression would be something you could counteract better with rioting instead.
maybe a Savant can do this subconciously?
I don’t think so. We never see it hapoen
nah im pretty sure it is mentioned in both book 1 and 3 of the mistborn trilogy that it is not something that is possible.

I think both abilites are s tier on their own even if they don't synergize thats what makes them an s tier twinborn and not busted
The idea of a Wipeout just running around and booping people back into normal dudes is hilarious to me.

So duralumin compounders wouldn't just be the most charismatic persons but they could literally make anyone do whatever they say!

I'm pretty sure he's done teir lists for the powers separately before

Like piercing a copper cloud?

you might be able to tap stored investiture harder/faster to simulate duralumin flaring

I'm also pretry sure the raw investiture the ghostbloods deliver in the end of era 2 was gathered using nicrosil.
Not how it works, or else unsealed metal minds for iron would make everyone really heavy rather than giving them the ability to store it
There is just to much we don’t know about feruchemical nicrosil
