KF51 is still developing now and not finished yet. It is not a present MBT. M1A1 had upgraded to M1A2 and other variants were used present time. Russian T-14 Armata have develpoed but not placed on the battlefield. So we can not see it in Ukraine war. South Korean MBT K2 Black Panther has soft kill also hard kill to defend the anti-tank missiles also RPG. K2 has a ISU system to sit stand lean or kneel any direction. K2 operate KTSAM-II its range over 8km while other tank can not atackt him in its range.
If your country want a new MBT, K2 is the best answer for that. K2 is unexpensive better that M1A2, Leopard2A7. Same money, more MBT is K2's purpose. K2 is the most cost-effective MBT in the world present time.
Actually the M1A2 is also not in service the M1A2 SEPv4 is now what is in service with it united states main differences are IP4 armour upgrades, ERA that has extra protection against kinetic shells, better sights and I'd you have one that is fully kitted, Israeli trophy system APS and a weird new IRST FCS.

I love the Merkava and Abram tanks for their design, sophistication. Moreover, these are the only tank types which are battle tested in reality and has proven to be durable and reliable.

Erm the Chlenger 2 has lost two tanks one to friendly fire in the gulf and one in Ukraine, its been on operation in Kosovo war, bosnian war, Ukraine Russo war and gulf war and its reliability has been excellent since 1994, furthermore it is the only tank with Dorchester armour, and upgrade to its chobham and chobham although not as good is used on Abrams, one was hit at least 72 times by armour piercing rpgs and bazooka type shape charges and survived to be repaired and has just won "iron spear" tank competion 2023 putting leopard in 2nd place and abrams in 3rd, so yes it reliable and proven to take punishment, i could go on but I won't, I will say though it's an old tank now and is to be replaced imminently by C3 but all tank are super vulnerable to to shoulder mounted "tow" type munitions, aircraft and the new munitions on suicide type drones, but of you want to stand better than most chance, you want that Dorchester armour. All tanks are only as good as their tank crews, so I disagree with your statement, c2 is very much proven.
@@jaymorris3468 Two challengers were lost in Ukraine, not one. Btw Ukrainians got just 14 tanks, and avoid sending them to tough spots. So challengers haven't been in a real modern battle, and yet 2 out of 14 machines are destroyed.
@@solarpatrol5136 well considering challenger 1 had over 300 kills in the gulf war to no losses, and either 1 or 2, I think it was 2, took 70 rpgs and bazooka type directly to still survive, challenger 2 has updated Dorchester chobham armour better fire control and updates all round than challenger1 so I think it's fair to say it's better than the previous platform, don't you. The Abrams has challenger 1 armour, not Dorchester and has obviously the platform of challenger has seen combat, its a silly argument if there is no battle to fight. All tanks are vulnerable to weaponry even from the shoulder, the Abrams has faced the same opposition as challenger 1, All we can do is have competitions again other tanks, and being the old model now, challenger 2 still beat leopard and ABRAMS, that's may be uncomfortable but it is the truth. armor-resistant shell sounds like a screw up of English language; They mean armor-penetrating. defeats armor. directional explosive fires jet of molten metal through everything -- often setting off the ammunition inside the tank, and with such fireworks its become known as a jack-in-the-box.
@@jimmio3727 what you described is HEAT which is not used on the Abrams M1A2 SEPV4 (the most modern Abrams) the round used is M82A4 ERA and NERA defeating sabot urainuam penetrator. Yes sometimes called "armour resistant penetrator" even though that is usually used by non-tank nerds. M82A4 used a long and thin urainuam penetrator with a composite jacket and tip that allows it to ignore the expansion disruption effects of ERA and NERA making it the first of its kind to do so. The round due to its composite jacket is also effective on Relkit ERA.

Both are in use though. In Ukraine, the military is mainly using 3rd gen M1 Abrams

@@wildfire613 yes M1A2'S that were not hosted by the united states were defeated in battle against kornet 2 ATGMS. But these were M1A2'S a 70s era tank with no upgrades. What the united states uses is the chonky M1A2 SEPv4 which due to their use of the trophy APS and TUSK4 ERA cannot be penetrated by ATGMs there's a summary of what happened and why it's not major News

If your going to include kf52 then include abrams x since they are both under development at that time, now its a mbt and few are produced but they are rapidly producing more at this timerate.

To me only two tanks have actually proved themselves on the battlefield; the Abrams & the Challenger 2. I don't think that high-end electronics can ever stay in one piece in a proper battle. They shall get burnt-out very quickly, limiting the functionality of the tank.
Two good facilities on the Challenger 2 which I haven't noted on the others, a flushing toilet under the loader's seat and a hot water supply, great for a cup of tea 😀

Mikesey1, I have just had the same rant. These tanks can have all the supposed toys and can do amazing things, but must of this banter is bollocks. And an attempt by these countries to make there military look better than it is. There has only ever been one challenger 2 lost during a conflict, which was a blue on blue, theres loss of documented cases where the challenger 2 has been hit by over 20 RPG’s, but despite this the tank made it home and was back out 6 hours later. I apologise if this sounds like a rant at yourself, it’s not, it’s due to the frustration of the lack of actual information presented in these videos and the other people commenting on something the know k]nothing about. My opinion, is that the challanger 2 and the Abrams would be very closely matched . The only thing that would let the Abrams down it the amount of servicing and the type of fuel. However, the recently announced challanger 2 replacement is something out of this wold. Thanks for getting to the end of my tant

The KF51 is based on the hull of the Leopard 2A4,but with a new turret mounting an autoloaded 130 mm calibre main gun. On 5 December 2022, Rheinmetall announced its plans to target mostly existing Leopard 2 operators with the KF51.
Half of these tanks have been deployed to parades not battlefield.

the military can use a sniper drone if there's to many enemy's ahead the operator can see what the drone sees the operater sees and the drone with have lazer sight to Hit his or her target the drone can also have night vision can fly quite so with out thd sniper getting hurt in any way

Fun fact not challenger 2 has ever been destroyed in combat, but one was destroyed in a friendly fire in Iraq in 2003.
Challenger III next generation, incorporates traditional hot water boiler for crew comfort. Add packet of tea and it easily outclasses all MBT. 😁

In winter, in snow and ice, these pieces of metal are useless, they simply will not go anywhere, uphill or uphill. Unlike the Russian tanks "T-90" and "T-90 Proryv".

T 14 is an awful tank. The engine is a ww2 nazi engine which basically breaks down very often. It’s technology and claims of capabilities have been shown to be propaganda. Most of what it did have was old western technology. Which it now can’t access and subsequently can’t build. It’s not a good tank and not even in the top 10

If include abandoned or captured, the total is 3495. Western tanks is around 23. Plus, western tanks don't launch their turrets into space. And what parades are the T-14s showing up at? They certainly won't show their delicate bodies in a war zone, right?😂

I heard from a former German veteran who fought with tanks (The Chieftain) that the feature of controlling drones from inside the KF-51 is not important, it takes up vital space inside the tank and that it would be better if the infantry took care of that with a dedicated vehicle for the drone. Puma IFV was overrated and fared very poorly in reality, I guess Germany lost the military tact of producing vehicles after it became a NATO vassal.

All this "analysis" is for a sbowroom. What really matters is logistics, reliability and maintenance. If the engine consumes fuel like mad, the tank will be a sitting duck in a couple of hours.

That challanger is something else, its just beat panther and abrams in the 2023 international iron spear tank comp and its about to be retired for the newer challenger 3, that's going to be scary if the old tank won iron spear, mind you, those brits did put the first tank on a battlefield so the crews must be top notch cos theyre not working with the newest or latest fc systems. The new leopard isnt on the battlefield yet, its not ready.

Turkey in Syria with leopards - More than half of the leopards were destroyed by old Soviet ATGMs. Israel tried to invade Syria on the Merkava - the same result. The number of burnt abrams is incalculable. For 5 years, Syria has not lost a single T-90 tank supplied by Russia. Yes. The US has done a great job of brainwashing its slaves.
