While I love channels like the Command Zone and Nitpicking Nerds, I think y'all's is my favorite gameplay channel. It's all well and good to have decks designed to win based on new commanders or pet decks. But it gets a little boring. Y'all giving stipulations for decks makes the gameplay significantly more interesting.
Wow didn't watch yet but the pie breaks are so much more of color pie breaks than previous times. A lot more impressive than black mill or black burn or white storm etc. Good job digging a lot deeper this time.
@@zacharyenglish2904 Well Gruul storm rather with squirrel payoff, which Richard did use but it wasn't overall meant to be done the way he was doing it.
It doesn't affect your gameplay, but Amulet of Vigor is a triggered ability Seth kept referring to it as a replacement effect, like Spelunking Since it's a trigger, it would use the stack, and the untap would trigger things like Mesmeric Orb
Yeah. It's honestly a little surprising for that specific example given that he has knowledge of Amulet Titan in Modern, and it matters a lot for that deck that it's a trigger and not a replacement effect
This season started off amazing. Ive been really enjoying these games. I saw monoG storm once but i really liked Richards spin on it, very impressive showing
@@lobbynotlob it's a mill deck if the goal of the deck is to reduce the number of cards in your opponents libraries to zero. Is exiling your opponent's entire library not milling them out? By your standard no.
I've got a few decks like this. Most are mono red, like mono red life gain, or mono red enchantress. I also have had a green storm list for years, which used to be Arasta enchantress until Ave came out and filled the spot.
On gameplay alone, this has been my favorite game in a while! Not that the others were bad but I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the whole game long.
Moritte is my favorite commander deck I play. I play it as an enchantment deck, but I never thought about playing burn with it. I thought about dark depths but never burn lands. I guess I got to add a few in to my deck cause that another cool wincon I could do!
37:40 One thing about Full Flowering is that populate X times means you populate, then you populate, then you populate, etc. So the tokens enter one at a time. Your first Regal Force would draw you 2, the next 3, the next 4 and the last 5, for a total of 14 cards drawn, not 16.
@Chubbs89 hmm, you know I hadn't considered that. You are correct, the triggers would only go on the stack after the spell resolves. Ok forget my original message, I was wrong.
Seth whipping out the second Sunscorched Desert killed me
I came prepared lol

Thanks!
agreed! the crazy stipulations are amazing :D
I’m here for the personalities 😝😍

I mean, to be fair, Green Storm was a modern horizons theme
@@zacharyenglish2904 Well Gruul storm rather with squirrel payoff, which Richard did use but it wasn't overall meant to be done the way he was doing it.
To be honest, i didn't even know there were enough Elves in Mono-Blue for a Commander Deck

Yeah, it wasn't really relevant so I didn't focus on it, but maybe I could have explained it better.
@@MTGGoldfishCommander Yeah it's no problem man! I just didn't want people misunderstanding 👍👍
the classic interaction with the simic players:
seth:i need to draw more cards
richard: you just drew 16!
seth yeah but it's never enough
This season started off amazing. Ive been really enjoying these games. I saw monoG storm once but i really liked Richards spin on it, very impressive showing
Crims half-hearted CLASH ONs will forever have a special place in my heart😂
Mono black Elves is a fun theme as well.
At 10:56 Seth should have bounced Vesuva turned Sunscorched, to play it as the colored desert next turn and play doppelgang
Rooting for Phil this week
Giving me shades of the mono red mill deck I recently designed
That sounds super cool!
@@MTGGoldfishCommander Turns out wheeling your hand isn't such a good thing when you're doing it 3-4 times a turn.
@@andycic.544 thats not a mill deck then, thats just a wheels deck

“We never draw with that thing!” -Seth (while holding his hand in both hands cuz he has 44 cards in it already)
That winner's buzz makes me chuckle every time. Haha.
Good stuff, Geek n Seek. 😉👍
Ah yes, simic burn
Simic can do literally anything, huh?
Richard and Seth built bangers this week fr
I've got a few decks like this. Most are mono red, like mono red life gain, or mono red enchantress. I also have had a green storm list for years, which used to be Arasta enchantress until Ave came out and filled the spot.
Week one of asking for Vince to come back for a episode cause his legacy of having cards on the clash ban list lives on
Tomer was contemplating joining this game, but it would mean playing non-drawing blue... and he's not THAT desperate to play that... :-P
On gameplay alone, this has been my favorite game in a while! Not that the others were bad but I felt like I was on the edge of my seat the whole game long.
I would bring a mono-red lifegain deck with "Heartless Hidetsugu" and "Basilisk Collar"!
Phil! You're cool man! I wish you would talk more! Don't let the other clash members cut you off!
Moritte is my favorite commander deck I play. I play it as an enchantment deck, but I never thought about playing burn with it. I thought about dark depths but never burn lands. I guess I got to add a few in to my deck cause that another cool wincon I could do!
My favorite color of the pie is pumpkin 🎃
Where do you all get the floating mana cards
What's the split? The number of Clashes Seth casts his Commander versus doesn't?
I run Legolas, Master Archer as my moni green storm commander.
Mono green storm is basically an archetype at this point. Leave it to Richard to have his own opinion on fringe color strategies.
Awesome game as always guys, thank you
What a cool and fun game! You guys are awesome.
I actually thought it was Phil week LOL!
Noticing how blue and green have enough out of color options within their color pie.
Do you guys plan on a duskmourn commander clash?
Man I have been wanting to make an illusion deck for so long. Now I might add some aristocrat stuff.
Loved the Simic Burn did seth have a Virtue of Strengh in his deck would have been crazy good.
Love those wacky themes
Y'all need to start throwing Storm Seeker in these green direct damage decks even e but Crim is taking like 13
So early idk who’s playing what
Seth's playing Panharmonicon
Lemons?
Phil just made mono blue marneus lol
Next week is Duskmourn? Please tell me someone (Crim hopefully) is bringing The Mindskinner.
Yep (and yep).
Simic burn my beloved
Couldn’t Seth have bounced the colorless desert instead of the colored one or the vesuva 10:25 to have better colors
I could have, although since I had Amulet all my lands would be untapped anyway, so the simic desert would come back into play untapped anyway.
@@MTGGoldfishCommander well if you had a second green or blue source in hand you could’ve played doppelgang
UA-cam is blocking all my comments, wtf
EDIT: this one wasn't, wth the list of automatic blocked words.
You made it!
Bring back Shelob, Child of Ungoliant, she was poorly represented. No offense Seth😂
First 🎉

Wouldn't the etb effect wait until the resolution of the entire spell?
