An unnecessary comment. I apologize. Your mosaic patterns are very good. I am getting use to your energetic and chatty personality....that is a compliment!! Blessings
I just found your channel and mosaic crocheting just came to me two days ago, I will say just listening to you because I’ve never paid attention to this style of crocheting, that it sounds like you are speaking another language☺️. I feel lost, overwhelmed and afraid just listening. It’s seems looking at it that it’s sooo hard to do but I know it can be done because you’ve done it but my my my unbelievable. Thanks for teaching and sharing your talent. Maybe I’ll try soon.❤️
Thank you, Courtney, for this series of mosaic crochet tutorials. I love your style of teaching and the way you encourage us to use our imagination and be adventurous in trying different pattern combinations. I have learned so much and had a lot of fun working through this series with you. Thank you X
I’m really happy with your tutorials! I was having so much trouble keeping the correct # of stitches in each row, especially with Apache tears because of the 1st & last stitch. The way you do it is so simple & you can’t screw up! Thanks! Just finished my 4th bag/purse. Gave one to one of my granddaughters, and now they all want one 😁👍❤️
I would definitely make at least one of these beautiful patterns. I worked Apache tears last year and did not know by that time it is under mosaic crochet art. Thanks for sharing all of these patterns, this is from your generosity.
Thank you so much!! Apache tears was my first ever attempt and at the time I tried it I didn't know it was mosaic either and not first attempts were awful! My sides were so crazy because I would do a drop double crochet in the last stitch, I kept working extra stitches in the row because I didn't know to make sure I wasn't working in the stitch that the double crochet covers lol I never finished that project 😂
@@FiberFoxStudios yah it gets messy until you understand it. Maybe you did not finish that project but now, see how much you accomplished! And you even teach it to others ♥️ keep inspiring us
I love the 2nd swatch with the blue and purple a lot. I'm just now was thinking of mixing up # 5 pattern that I'm working on now. I think swatch 2 will look good. Thank you for this video.
Thank you for your wonderful tutorials. I love the mosaic blanket that you show as your profile picture. Would you ever consider sharing it with us? The border looks great too.
Hi Janice!!! Thank you so much for watching them!!! I'm actually working on planning out a crochet along for that exact blanket where we will work it together exactly as the original. I'm having to figure it out row by row so it's going to be several months before I'll have it all ready to start filming. I'm doing charts for it to and showing how we just keep joining on and working it. I work full time still so I'm working on it in the evening figuring it out, I've got to get it back from my sister (i made it for my baby niece) as I've done all I can from the pics I have so I need that original back to see more detail lol
I think I can fit that in soon, I will have to do my own version of it due to copyright issues unless I can get permission from the designer. This weeks video is already planned for the filming but I'll see what I can do for you in the coming weeks! THANK YOU SO MUCH, I can tell you are binge watching! 💖
Hi Rebecca!! You CAN do it!! Its so much easier than it looks I promise!!! I've got a full series to teach you. Pick one of the patterns and just do a swatch. You will be so shocked how easy it really is. I believe in you!!!! And you will love creating all kinds of things in mosaic and will master it in no time!!!
Thank you! It's some maybelline quick dry gel polish that I grabbed for $2 at Dollar General lol it's super fast drying and it's not chipping bad like my other cheap polishes do 🤣💗
Hi Sharon! I have a video already out for the ends, its save in the playlist but it's easy to overlook! Here is the link for you ua-cam.com/video/qKVNtF4hBpw/v-deo.html
Hi!!! I have good news, this is a beginners series!! I go through the stitches nice and slow and show you exactly what to do. Here is the playlist, ua-cam.com/play/PLU_G451k47sFL5XbudW7sNbYF7MI8swa5.html check out pattern number 1 or any of the patterns that you like! Hope you enjoy!
Hi I started the native bliss blanket I want to add the apache tear pattern to mine. Can you tell me if that pattern will work with the native bliss blanket pattern. Thank you for inspiring me to do this.❤
ua-cam.com/video/noDrG6Gjnw4/v-deo.html This video walks you through the mathto mix different patterns. You can definitely add apache tears to your native bliss 😊 💙💙💙
Thank you for this video. I was wondering how does it work matching these patterns in one single project: do they all start with the same stitch count ?
Good morning!! I actually have a video where I take you through the math, you can actually mix a lot of patterns into one project and they can have different multiples. Here is a link to that video ua-cam.com/video/noDrG6Gjnw4/v-deo.html I hope that helps!!! If you need more help or have additional questions just let me know
Great question! You will have to adjust your work. When you mix patterns that are different multiples you may end up with a partial pattern at the end of your row or you may have to add in an additional stitch like a back loop sc to finish rows where a shorter multiple mosaic is being worked. I am also going to film a video talking about how you can figure out how to mix patterns by doing some math. Keep a look out for that one as it may be really helpful to you.
Unfortunately I don't know a way to work them in at the end as you go. I have videos on the finishing and how to playlists that show how you can handle the tails. Here is the Mosaic finishing playlist: ua-cam.com/play/PLU_G451k47sHKk03bYvCWpRbkSbDz2oSe.html And the how to playlist can be found here ua-cam.com/play/PLU_G451k47sHjvq5C4GHn7PJ-ocTRKVuW.html Hope that helps!
That is part of a Crochet along, my very first one and first time teaching Mosaic (and this was before I started charting them) Not all the patterns work out evenly at the end of the row which is why I have been redoing those old videos. If you still are going to use that first 1 you would stay in the playlist ua-cam.com/play/PLU_G451k47sFL5XbudW7sNbYF7MI8swa5.html If you check out this playlist it has the Remastered Pattern 1 video with some others to choose from as well ua-cam.com/play/PLU_G451k47sEwfs5VYO0XsLD-lLgZYGie.html
I'm making a scarf now! I suggest using size 3 yarn for a scarf so it's not so bulky around the back of the neck. You could even use sport weight I'm sure and lace weight if you are really brave lol that would take a long time but I'm sure it would be worth it. I am using size 3 DK on my scarf.
No problem, you work the patterns one after another. You typically will work your first pattern and then just begin working each pattern after that directly onto your work. If you take a look at logic pattern 2 in this playlist you will see how I did it. You wint need to watch the entire video just watch the beginning so you can see how I start my new pattern on my completed pattern1. Let me know if you have any other questions!!
I'm planning your Mosaic sunrise pattern right now while watching this helpful video

Hi im new to this mosaic crochet, and i wonder where you can find patterns for this technique
My question is when you change pattern what happened with the count of stitches like some are 10+5 for the pattern to work perfect

does this work well for a scarf? or will it be too dense?
