I love how you have these calm and level headed character then the minute you have someone attractive show interest in them they because all shy and awkward, it's so endearing.
I completely agree! Somehow those awkward interactions make the characters seem more "human" if that makes sense. They are suddenly taken away from their stoic archetype and put into these seemingly mundane scenarios that they are just not used to... Given the narrative, their awkwardness seems like an appropriate response and it's adorkable ☺️
The Inquisitor's whispered "Shall we read another?" was seriously good voice acting. Made ME want to grab him and pull him to the floor like Cassandra did
That’s why I love the British male voice, it lands *perfectly* when it comes to moments where he’s being snarky or smooth - really fits a charming and funny Inquisitor. Not to dismiss the other voices, they’re each great in their own ways too of course and have their strengths & moments (also really like male American for example because he sometimes lets his Zevran show and it’s hilarious, and he has some of the best angry speech deliveries)- but I’ll always have a soft spot for Harry Hadden-Paton’s voice for being my first Inquisitor and many others since, as well as Red Prince in DOS2
33:39 I love how this feels like "dad, mom was reading a smutty book out loud!", and honestly, every single ship with the Inquisitor could AND SHOULD adopt Cole as their son 😂

Yea, I did... I figured since I was romancing Cassandra, I might as well pander my Inquisitor to her. I will say that one of my favorite things about her is how such of a good friend she is! I played 6 different times and some of my Inquisitors had polar opposite views from her... And even though she'd disagree with my actions, she'd still stand by my side and trust my decision making. I really love that about her ❤️

Cassandra already as a character is so relatable to me w/o the romance, but damn, the romance is like looking in the mirror especially at 17:09 like I literally had the modern day version of this exchange with a guy from work except instead of saying "delightful" he said I was cute and I don't know how to respond except to argue and explain why I'm not cute or trying to be cute lol and I'm not being shy about it- I'm legit annoyed he says that lol.
I think Cassandra is gorgeous, but man, they made Leliana so pretty in this game 😍 Morrigan too. The only other girl that can match them is the female Hawke I made.

I've never noticed before, but I hate the way she stands outside of cutscenes. Why are her legs never straight, why is she always in this weird pose with her wrists crossed? (I looked into it, and apparently it's just an animation a bunch of characters cycle through, really looks out of place on her, way too timid) She seems to me more like someone who would stand pretty straight, very disciplined. But I do think she's one of my favorite romances. I'm a sucker for the hard ass with the soft heart. I've also always wanted to see her with her hair down.

If you are a noble Human i can get it, benefit of the doubt. If you are a mage you could just be an extremist... so yeah i don't get why your are alive. An elf except if solas & cassandra find you first most ferelden soldier's would have killed you on spot at the exit of the fade who care for an elf ? A Qunari mercenary... could be a ben'asrat destabilising the south to prepare an invasion... Except if he is a mage no Qunari would let a mage free. Dwarf... is the best you are a lyrium smuggler in a mage/templar conflict... sure you have no evident interest for that war to keep going...
I played it on the PS4, so it's not a mod! Some of the romances in DAI have nudity 😅 Maybe there's a censored option that you can choose in the menu? I believe there was one for blood, can't remember if there was one for nudity as well.

Yea that type of exclusivity sucks! But I actually think it makes sense for some characters... i.e. "elf boy" If I'm remembering correctly, The Iron Bull and Josephine are the only characters open to romance anybody regardless of race or gender.
Personally? I have no problem with romances that could both gender but I think it might be better if some romance choices are blocked for certain genders or backgrounds. Mainly because it can run the risk of being generic otherwise. The temptation to just make all the dialogues all the same regardless of gender or background is just greater if they just program any character as bisexual. I prefer if the game added some parameters on your MC to determine who you can romance with. That way, it encouraged replayability just to try out all the different romances and makes each romance as if something unique.
Your character looks like he should be paired up with Dorian. Cassandra doesn't look the type to hook up with whatever it is you created. Needs to look more manly. Like give him a beard and some stubble.

I intentionally make my Inquisitor resemble Fidel Castro and imagine this manly bearded man with a broad smile as Cassandra's husband. Awww
