There is a significant difference between fighting an opponent and formalized combat of this type. Is your Inquisitor truly skilled in whatever they are using here in this particular way? I have backed once from a challenge by my friend to a mock duel despite his inferior skills - because rules set forth were so restrictive compared to my training that my experience would be working against me. I can see an Inquisitor not doing well - because his fighting style is different and his instincts are different.
Imagine being a Champion warrior who faces demons and can fight alone against a dragon so that now Josephine worries about your safety in a duel against a 50kg noble
Well Rapier fights are often considered to be like back alley knife fights..... the loser dies in the alley, the winner dies on the way to the hospital.
God Josephine is adorable! I also love how her fiance went from seeming like he was going to be a stuck up jerk to the single coolest guy in the game in a matter of moments.
Zevran's personality in the previous games should've been a bit of a clue that Antivans are quite 'flowery' and dramatic. Otranto is doing this to settle a dispute but he's playing up the theatrics just as much to put on a show for the people watching.
My favorite romance in the game - they didn't feel the need to throw a sex scene in. They are sleeping together, no doubt, but it doesn't need to be shown. It's very much a romantic's romance.

Marky NOW HOLD ON THERE. Yes, she did want an old god baby. But it saves the Wardens life. Now, at this time, she has a much grimmer outlook on life and sees the child as a tool. However, should you romance her and go with her into the Elluvian, you affectively become a happy family. Morrigan softens IMMENSELY, is a loving mother, fondly thinks of the Warden repeatedly (warden out doing adventures so she’s hanging out with her son), and is just generally a very pleasant woman. She grows as a person and it’s just the sweetest thing.
maciejl20 probably larger than you think. She’s got sass, a troubled backstory (tho so does everyone), and she has the most wonderful time breaking down her emotional wall.
She is the innocent yet unaware sweet heart of the romance. The woman who never thought it possible that it would have happen. Josephine takes the title: Sweeter than honey and sugar.

While this romance is lacking minorly in some aspects, an exotic-looking noble/politician/ambassador young woman with a lovely accent as a love interest was a great addition to the series. Plus, with her being open to any race chars, and for femalee, our lovely Cinnamon Bun certainly has a special place in my heart. Also for thosr wondering, its not a reupload but rather an expanded version of previous video, containing most of possible side dialogue (Assassin route for House of Repose exchanges some dialogue and war table missions for better ending) and Tresspasser DLC content
I like to imagine, with Varric being a close friend, his girl Bianca could be a Dragon Age version of Daedalus and make the Inquisitor a mechanical arm to replace the missing one

In our age? Nobody. In the medieval era? It's perfectly plausible, depending on the circumstances. Marriage was rarely a matter of love amongst nobles and powerful families (or even peasantry). More often it was a political arrangement between the two houses.
A prideful opportunist, maybe. House Trevelyan probably would not have said no to better alliances with House Montilyet, now that the family has returned to Orlais. Dueling would have been the fastest way to force Otranto to drop the issue of engagement, should his opponent be the better duelist. That's medieval politics, in any case. Otranto thought Josephine was getting her arm twisted into a political marriage, and only knew that he himself would have been a decent husband- Josephine said that he wasn't _insufferable,_ anyway, and he was more than eager to drop the issue when he saw mutual love. As he said, he presumed the relationship to be one of "passion or convenience."
Lord Otranto seems like a pretty cool dude. Most writers would have just made him sexist, racist, or generally a pig. I’m glad they wrote him as a gentlemen, adds some complexity and depth.
It's so hard not to just endlessly romance Josephine. She's so tactful to non-human Inquisitors and despite believing in the Chantry, she doesn't force it on them either. She's so perfect.
While this is nowhere near the quality of the romances of Origins or DA2 (though that goes for all the other Inquisition romances too), I must admit I do find this romance oddly charming with how campy and Disney-esque it is.
Well, the Solas romance has a tonne of emotion in it. From body language to facial expressions and words I feel like it’s one of the best. It makes Trespasser all that more emotional.

Suffice to say, my Qunari mage had to sit through a very awkward apology scene, especially since she's absolutely gutted if you say it wasn't serious.

Josephine is a nice girl but the romance with her did not leave as much of an impact ,on players.Take Cassandra, for example, they made it so that you truly had to know the character ( or follow the walkthrough) to get past her tsundere attitude.

Josephine is a nice girl but the romance with her did not leave as much of an impact ,on players.Take Cassandra, for example, they made it so that you truly had to know the character ( or follow the walkthrough) to get past her tsundere attitude.
Yeah, but that's only because Cassandra is a copy and paste of Ashley, or Morrigan, or others. Bioware is far too lazy to have more than 3 personalities, no matter how many people there are
@@jaycorbin6145 what are you talking about? Morrigan, Ashley, and Cassandra have almost nothing in common, unless not showing their true personality to someone who starts the game as a literal stranger to them counts as a personality trait (it doesn't).
